Story
We first got Jinx from a local breeder in Indianapolis in June. He is 16 months old and has had 10 weeks of obedience training at Ultimate Canine in Westfield Indiana. He is a super energetic and loving dog. I’m a father of Kids who will all be in college soon and will be traveling a lot for work. I would like a new home for him with a family with younger kids for his lovable personality. Jinx loves tennis balls and really any toy. He is crate trained and actually loves his crate. And he loves ice cubes:)

Story
Meet Einstein! This handsome boy was surrendered to an overcrowded high-kill shelter, so Misty Eyes brought him in and placed him in foster care. He was adopted, but was found to be a bit too much for the family to handle, so he`s come back. Einstein is a big, lovable guy who prefers women over men, and his foster mom has been working with him to overcome his fear of men. Einstein is not aggressive, but has a big bark that can be very intimidating. He loves his dog siblings and is fine with the cats in the home. He needs a very patient adopter to help him to continue to learn to trust men. A fenced yard is best for Einstein. He is a large guy and powerful guy. A DNA test was performed, and Einstein, surprisingly, is German Shepherd/Mastiff/Poodle/Shih Tzu. Are you the one to give Einstein a permanent home? If you`d like to meet Einstein, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
We found Zelda outside crying at our fence. She had no collar, was very dirty and thin, and was not chipped. She's a very sweet girl and deserves all the love in the world! The vet said she is just under 2 years old. We caught her up on vaccines and she has had her checkup and parasite screenings. She is very sweet, does well in the house, plays great with my other dog, and lets us know when she needs to go to the bathroom. She also knows "sit," "lay down," "shake," and several other basic commands. She does bark quite a bit and has been reactive toward smaller dogs, so I would be happy to set up a meet-and-greet with any other pets that would be in the home! We are happy to pay to have her fixed, and have the surgery done before she goes to her new home if necessary.

Story
My name is Goose! I was found as a stray & my foster mom took me in after being dumped! My DNA test says I’m 49.2% GSD, 25.7% blue heeler, 25.1% husky! I’m friendly with most dogs I’ve met, but I’m reactive to dogs on a leash. I need proper intro to dogs. I live well with another dog other than resource guarding my food/toys, I need to be separated at meal times. I will do best in a single dog home or w another medium/large dog. I need an active owner and a fully fenced backyard. I’ve met kids and I’m doing super great with them! I’m potty trained and kennel trained. My rehome fee will cover the non-wire, non-destructive kennel that my foster mom bought for me, its my safe space and I’m very comfortable in it. I’m loving and loyal, I love to be around my people, i don’t do well left alone, so my kennel comes in handy. I’m super smart and know my commands and I listen really well. I do best in a structured home with a routine. I’m ready for my forever home, I’ll be the best companion!

Story
I adopted Lilly from a friend 7 months ago to save her from going to the shelter. We weren't told that she has terrible anxiety. The anxiety has become quite a problem, we thought it would calm after a while of having her, but it's only gotten worse. I do believe it's just because we have a loud and busy household. She absolutely LOVES our kids, but when we rough house with the kids she will cry, snap and run around going crazy...it normally stops at that, until 2 weeks ago. I was playing with our 2yr old (who she's very protective of) and we got too loud and she bit me. She drawed blood and it was a pretty bad bite. She often barks and growls at neighborhood kids. So when I say she's not good with kids it's because I don't recommend small/loud children. She really needs a calm environment. She also has some sort of skin allergy that I can't treat that seems to be irritating her alot. She is always itchy. Other than that, she is so sweet and obedient. She prefers to be inside.
