Hi, my name is Loxy. I'm a female shepherd mix, about 5-7 years old and only about 50lbs. My foster mom is working on getting some more weight on me though. I'm great with dogs, kids, and cats. With the proper intro and a little time, I will trust a patient and compassionate male. My last owner, who was a male, wasn't very kind and was quite abusive. I'm crate trained, house trained, and haven't chewed or been destructive at all. I love riding in the car and going on walks. I also love to play and paw things around (because I have clearly been hanging out with a lot of cats). Don't let my age fool you, I'm quite playful and energetic and really a good girl. Meet Drako! Drako is a 5 year old male German Shepherd who was brought to us as an owner surrender when his owner could no longer care for him. A relative who planned to house him could not keep him as the two male dogs in the home didn't get along. Drako is a BIG boy at around 120 lbs. He enjoys playing with toys (his favorite phrase is "go get your toys!") and he brings them in and out with him from his kennel. This guy is a big baby and he loves people. He would likely not do well with other dogs in the home though, based on the previous history and dog tests here in the building. His wish for the holidays is to find his forever home, where he can be the center of attention and spoiled rotten. German Shepherd experience is highly recommended. Sadie was born August 13, 2021. I got her from a breeder at 3 months old. Sadie is a great family dog that enjoys spending her time with the family. She loves kids and plays with other dogs. Very socially friendly. Supervision is needed with smaller dogs because of a German Shepherd’s natural prey drive. Sadie is very smart and exercise and plenty of training helps stimulate her mind. She loves treats, and is very trainable with food. I would lover her new home to be with someone that enjoys teaching/training, will maintain a rhythm for her, a loving family, fenced in backyard would be nice, kids of any age. Sadie is crate trained, knows basic commands including stay and going to bed. She loves and craves attention. Will follow you everywhere. She’s fine alone.

Luci was rescued by a kind soul that found her by the river super skinny. She called us and we picked her up. We believe she is a purebred GSD. She is on the smaller side at just 40lbs so if you love the breed but can't handle a very large dog, Luci would be perfect. She is spayed, UTD on all required vaccines, HW tested negative and microchipped. Typical to the breed, Luci does have a prey drive so no cats or small dogs or other small pets. She loves people and gets along well with a large group of dogs here. Also, Luci is reliably housetrained. Estrella is 1.5 years old. She’s extremely playful, energetic, and loving. She needs a new home due to us moving to an apartment and therefore not being allowed to keep her. She would do best with an experienced owner because she has very strong separation anxiety. She will become her new owners shadow. She can also unknowingly play relatively roughly so being able to handle a bigger dog is a must. She loves children but like any dog she needs to be supervised with them. She’s a wonderful dog that anyone with the time to put in for her would be lucky to have!
