Story
Max is a 1-2 year old very handsome German Shepherd. Coming to us as a stray in July, he is fun, very sweet and loving. He just now learning some manners and obedience. He enjoys bacon treats and thinks he is a lap dog. Max will be such a wonderful family dog with a little training, patience, love and structure. He could be great with other dogs--a meet and greet with your dog(s) will tell for sure. (However, no cats for this boy. Too much prey drive!) He may be energetic at first but he does settle down nicely and then will give you very sweet kisses. If you are looking for a playful, silly and loyal GSD, Max will be worth your time and attention! ........ We do ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact jsmbmiller@comcast.net for more information about this pet. Blue Eyed Beauty! Confident, smart and playful!!  Jedda is always ready for a new adventure.  This busy little girl LOVES everyone she meets.  She is such a happy little girl!!!! Jedda enjoys learning new things.  She's food motivated and is so fun to work/play with.  We are working on sit, down, leave it, drop it, coming when called and loose leash walking.  She sleeps in her crate and rides well in her crate in a car.    Stay tunned for more on this sweet girlie! Jedda's story; A Good Samaritan found Jedda all alone outside on the grounds of her apartment complex.  She kept Jedda safe and posted her on the local lost and found site.  Soon Jedda's owner was found.  The owner brought Jedda home and then found out no dogs were allowed where she lived.  She then just tossed this young puppy out the door to survive on her own.   Jedda was born around 5/22/24 and is being fostered in Westville, IN Please contact Sharon at jsmbmiller@comcast.net if you have any questions about Jedda.  You can complete an application to adopt Jedda or any of the dogs on our website at www.comebyebcrescue.org  .     ***  The potential adoptor will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application.          Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 10, 2024, 3:48 pm

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
My husband has had Bane for several years- he was a stray previously and was adopted from the pound. My husband and I got married a little less than 6 months ago and with that came a combination of 5 kids, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. Unfortunately it is all just too much to handle and my poor dogs are getting the short stick of it all. There are some also some personal health issues involved as well. I would love to see all three go to a new home together, but that is not required. Bane has been to doggy training school in the best and is very well behaved. He knows sit, lay, watch me, come, and speak. He is completely house trained and he used to be crate trained (we ran out of room for a crate but I don't think he would have a problem getting back to that). Bane has a spinal injury- traumatic IMDD. He jumped off our deck last year and it caused a bulging disc. He was paralyzed at first but has been doing great now, and is able to use stairs and (almost) run.
