Story
My husband has had Bane for several years- he was a stray previously and was adopted from the pound. My husband and I got married a little less than 6 months ago and with that came a combination of 5 kids, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. Unfortunately it is all just too much to handle and my poor dogs are getting the short stick of it all. There are some also some personal health issues involved as well. I would love to see all three go to a new home together, but that is not required. Bane has been to doggy training school in the best and is very well behaved. He knows sit, lay, watch me, come, and speak. He is completely house trained and he used to be crate trained (we ran out of room for a crate but I don't think he would have a problem getting back to that). Bane has a spinal injury- traumatic IMDD. He jumped off our deck last year and it caused a bulging disc. He was paralyzed at first but has been doing great now, and is able to use stairs and (almost) run.

Story
Margo is a calm and curious 5-year-old German Shepherd mix with a laid-back yet playful personality. While she enjoys her independence and can be content on her own, she's also happy to engage with her people, especially when it comes to chasing balls or plush toys, making her an ideal match for someone looking for a dog with a good balance of playfulness and independence. Her curious nature means she enjoys exploring her surroundings, but she's just as happy lounging by your side after a fun game. If you're looking for a loyal, well-rounded dog who knows how to balance relaxation with a little bit of adventure, Margo could be the perfect addition to your family!

Story
Max is a 1-2 year old very handsome German Shepherd. Coming to us as a stray in July, he is fun, very sweet and loving. He just now learning some manners and obedience. He enjoys bacon treats and thinks he is a lap dog. Max will be such a wonderful family dog with a little training, patience, love and structure. He could be great with other dogs--a meet and greet with your dog(s) will tell for sure. (However, no cats for this boy. Too much prey drive!) He may be energetic at first but he does settle down nicely and then will give you very sweet kisses. If you are looking for a playful, silly and loyal GSD, Max will be worth your time and attention! ........ We do ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Story
We adopted Streak around 4 months ago from the Sangamon County Animal Shelter. He is one and a half year old happy and playful dog and still very much a puppy at heart. He loves going on walks, runs, and playing fetch/tug of war; or is content to sit and cuddle sharing love and affection. Do to his view of being a 60lb lap dog, I would recommend older kids, but he has never been aggressive towards anyone. He loves to play with other dogs and has enjoyed tumbling around with his house mate (an american pit bull of the same age) both inside and out. Streak is an avid chewer. He has not damaged any furniture, but I strongly recommend thicker treats and sturdier toys. He is ready to move and has a crate, harness, leash and bed ready to move with him (no extra charge). He is a wonderful, loving, sweet dog. Personal circumstances will not allow me to continue to give him the best home environment and we are hoping to find a family that can provide the love he deserves.
