Story
MEET GRACE & KATIE, two beautiful, sweet & bonded black German Shepherds! Both of these lovely girls were rescued from a crowded California shelter, and they are very bonded. Grace & Katie are good with other dogs and lovely with people. Grace, the mama dog, is about 5-6 years old, and Katie is a 2-year-old girl now and growing up! Both girls have also done fairly well around cats but would need to be monitored. Katie weighs about 60-65 lbs, and Grace weighs about 71-75 lbs. They've waited a long time for a home because we are trying to place them together, so if you can open your home to two dogs, please email for an application. They also need a foster! We also offer discounted adoption fees for pairs.

Story
Nala is just about the sweetest girl you've ever met. She's 6 1/2 and we got her from a shelter 5 years ago. She's incredibly smart, listens very well and is well trained. Her only issue is that she is large (90lb) and very dog and cat aggressive so this can make it pretty difficult to walk her or take her out and about. She's extremely gentle with our 1 1/2 year old and has never once been aggressive to people. The decision to rehome her has been incredibly difficult but comes down to the fact that we have a growing family now and we just don't have the bandwidth and energy to give her the exercise, mental stimulation, and training that she needs (for her dog aggression). It's near impossible to take her on a walk with our daughter so she doesn't get nearly enough exercise. We've worked with a trainer in the past but haven't been consistent enough though we do have a lifetime training program for her through Bark Busters that can be transferred to a new owner with a small fee.

Story
Meet Chocolate! This sweet little girl was born under an abandoned house when her stray mom looked for the safest place to have her babies. Rescuers immediately recognized what was going on and took them all into foster care. Chocolate spent her entire life with her mom and siblings until she weaned where she learned to play and socialize in foster care. She was/is fostered with other dogs, cats, and kids. She has been handled and snuggled a lot! We aren't sure what her mix is, but we suspect she will be medium sized. Since heading to her own foster home, she is mastering puppy life! Potty training is going great and she loves lounging on the couch for a nap. Spay, microchip, and current vaccines all included in the adoption fee, please start with the adoption application. Story
Ghost is a strikingly handsome young boy with a strong personality and a heart full of love to share! This confident pup knows what he wants, and he’ll fit perfectly into a home that appreciates his independence and zest for life. Ghost loves being around people and kids, and his playful spirit shines when he’s out and about with his human friends. Ghost does best with female dog companions and would thrive in a home without cats. His ideal family is one that loves to stay active and can match his adventurous energy. If you’re the kind of family that enjoys hiking, jogging, or exploring the outdoors, Ghost will be your loyal sidekick every step of the way. He’s a smart boy who enjoys learning, and he’d love a family dedicated to continuing his training and mental enrichment. If you're ready to welcome a bold, spirited pup into your life, Ghost is ready to be your loyal, lifelong friend! To add Ghost to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2218341##

Story
Meet Thor Introducing Thor, the big and friendly dog with a heart of love! This squishy pup is a great companion for anyone who loves big, playful dogs. Thor is a natural social butterfly and loves spending time with other dogs, making him a great fit for households with multiple pets. He loves being in the house and is quick to make himself at home. Thor is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX and is available to adopt out of state but needs to be an only dog as a meet and greet is required. Thor is a dog who's always up for an adventure, and he particularly loves car rides. He jumps into the car with ease and settles in for the ride, making him the perfect companion for road trips and outings with the family. With his love for exploration, we recommend a high fence for this big boy. But Thor isn't just about fun and games; he's also a well-trained pup who knows how to sit and walks well on a leash. He's always eager to learn new things and is a quick study. With his love of learning and eagerness to please, Thor is a great candidate for agility training. While in the house, Thor is content in a kennel or just laying on the couch. And let's not forget, Thor loves attention and is a big snuggler. Whether it's curling up on the couch for a movie night or cuddling in bed, Thor loves being close to his humans and soaking up all the love and affection. In short, Thor is a big and friendly dog who's always ready for fun and adventure. If you're looking for a loyal and playful companion who's great with other pets, loves car rides, and enjoys a good snuggle, then Thor is the perfect fit for you!
