Lovely Lulu Lulu or Louise as her foster mom calls her, is a German Shepherd Dog (GSD) and LOVES her person! She is full grown, is about 7 years old, and weighs about 55 pounds. Lulu is big, but has shorter legs than normal so she is not very tall she also has a cute bobbed tail! She came to us pregnant and raised a beautiful litter of 7 babies, many of which she still loves to visit with in the area. She was a WONDERFUL momma! Lulu loves to play with her furry foster brother, take long pack walks with her foster siblings and chase squirrels in the back yard. Having a home with a playful male doggy friend would be ideal for her. Lulu loves her foster mom and would prefer a female owner since guys are so big and scary. She is good with dog savvy teenagers. She does require and fenced in yard as she can be a little nervous around strangers and will take some time to warm up. Lulu is housebroken and loves to spend her nights either in bed with her person or on a comfy couch. Lulu is so sweet but is not good with yappy dogs or cats, she likes to chase them! Also Lulu is not good with small children their running about makes her nervous. Story
Sammie says I'm ready to be adopted!! Beautiful Sammie is a 2 year old German Shepherd. She is a nice 55lbs. Sammie was saved by a good samaritan when her life was in danger. Sammie has lived a lot of her life outside. Her teeth are worn from being on a chain. Even though humans have repeatedly failed her she is the best family dog! She adores her human foster brothers and their friends. She is so snuggly and playful. Sammie loves to "talk and her antics will keep you laughing. Her coat is ever so soft but will need proper grooming to keep it from matting. Sammie has many furry foster siblings and does well with them. She is very vocal and quirky with her play so a submissive friend would be best. Sammie absolutely adores her toys and super chewers. She loves to surround herself in them and often tosses her toys in the air just in pure joy. Sammie walks well on a leash, is potty trained through the dog door and loves to go for car rides. She will require a good size fenced yard she loves to chase! Sammie also does well in her crate for shorter periods of time. Could Sammie be the dog for you? Story
Welcome Goldie! She is the very definition of puppy joy! Goldie is very sweet and calm and loves to cuddle and hang out with her person. However, she can be standoffish to strangers at first- she just wants to protect her home and family and needs to trust a new person first before becoming friends. She is learning housetraining and she is crate trained. She will need leash training though- a since her home and yard are so big, she and her family have never needed to be on a leash so she will need some patience as she learns. Oh and did we mention that she loves to go swimming?? She has a huge pool in her back yard and she and her siblings love to run through the wadding end and go chasing after toys in the deep end. She especially loves to swim and is always in or around the pool if her people are swimming so that she can watch over them or go to "rescue them" if she thinks that they are in danger. Goldie is a 7 month old young lady who we expect to be BIG! She is already 54 pounds! Her mom is a German Shepherd/Husky/Lab mix (she had a DNA test done) and one of her brothers also got a DNA test done. Apparently dad was a Great Pyrenees!! She will be a BIG girl! We recommend her family to have a fenced in yard and to have experience with large breed dogs. If you are interested in adopting Goldie, please fill out an application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY-A-8178 **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete. Story
Sweetheart Francis! Francis is the BEST girl who came from the saddest situation. She she was found by a Good Samaritan on the side of the road in April next to a box which said "Great Puppies for V Day. She was so EMACIATED that no one (the vet included) knew that she was pregnant. A few days later, she gave birth to 8 wonderful puppies! Now that her puppies are ready to be adopted, Francis wants a forever home too. She LOVES people! Francis follows her people around and loves to be involved in whatever is going on. She loves food and playing in the pool with her pups. She is good with other dogs too. She does need a fenced in yard though because she is a hunter. You will not have any chipmunks or rabbits in your yard and she will chase away all of the squirrels! This extends to cats too- no cats for Miss Francis! If you want to do any dog sports with her, she would excel at Barn Hunt! Oh and she is crate trained and house trained too! Francis has had a DNA test done- she is mostly German Shepherd, with some Labrador and Siberian Husky in there too. She is full grown at 47 pounds and is about one and a half years old. If you are interested in adopting Francis, please fill out an application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY-A-8171 **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete. Story
Looking for a foster! Sabin would love a foster home of his own! He is almost 6 months and weighs about 55 pounds. He is a Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd/Labrador/Husky mix per his DNA test. He will be a BIG boy when full grown! Right now he is living with his mom and 6 siblings. While he has everything that he could want, taking care of 8 rambunctious dogs is a LOT on one person and his Good Samaritan needs help! He is crate trained, but will need a touch up on housetraining. He also has never been on a leash so he will need to be taught leash manners and to not jump up on people. Sabin can be possessive on his person with another dog when he is getting cuddles or is on the couch. He needs a fenced in yard. We highly recommend a family who has experience with large breed dogs due to his training needs. Sabin is good with other dogs, cats, and older kids. He LOVES food, treats, and swimming in the pool. He can be fostered to be adopted! He will be neutered in mid to late September. If you are interested in fostering Sabin, please fill out an ADOPTION application for him here and mark "foster or "foster to adopt with his name on the application. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY-A-8176 Requirements for Fostering a Dog: -All fosters must meet all adoption requirements. -Pets in the home must be up to date on vet care- spayed/neutered, up to date on core vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick preventions. -Fosters must live within a reasonable driving distance of Fayetteville. -Foster family must be able to transport pet to vet clinics or to the Foster Coordinator's home in Fayette County area either for scheduled appointments or as needed for emergencies. (These are usually flexible!) -Fosters must be able to transport the foster dog to Peachtree City Petsmart adoptions on select Saturdays. -Supplies, food, and vet care are all provided by FHS while he is in a foster home.

Story
She’s great with dogs and kids. She’s absolutely beautiful and has some blue in one eye. She loves to run and play. I just found out I’m allergic to dogs and need to find her a great home. She’s almost a year old I know the post says 2 years ago but I removed the information from the other dog I had on here. She’s not 2 years old.

These pups are in Fayetteville, Georgia too!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Frenzi is ready for a home! She is a 2 year old Belgian Malinois who is full grown. She weighs 49 pounds. She is VERY handler focused and LOVES her people. She enjoys playing with toys and will sometimes play fetch, but she prefers hiding the toys more than bringing them back. She LOVES hiking and swimming and going on adventures. She has had formal training, but she has a low hunt drive for scent work and gives up after a while. Frenzi gets along with other dogs, but after a while at home, she gets territorial with other female dogs. So she will need a home with an experienced handler, where either she is the only dog, or where she is the ONLY female dog. She is otherwise great in the home and is house broken and crate trained. She is also good with kids! She also has done well with outdoor cats, in that she really does not care about the cat! PLEASE do your research on this breed before submitting an application . They are not couch potatoes and need active and committed owners! Frenzi would be great in a low level sports home where to much pressure wasn't put on her or in an active companion home. If you are interested in adopting Frenzi, please fill out an application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY-A-7998 **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete.
