She’s a moderate-energy dog who enjoys both roughhousing and cozy snuggles on the couch. Lily is at her best when she has both exercise and mental stimulation. Lily is fully house-trained and adores people of all sizes, but she would thrive in a home with older kids who can handle her playful, sometimes overly energetic, behavior. She’s great with other dogs when introduced slowly and carefully, but she’s untested with cats. While Lily takes a bit of time to warm up to new people, once she trusts you, you're golden! Hey there, I am Freyah. Thanks for checking me out!! I am a lovable, obedient and calm dog and terribly attached to my peeps. My foster parents say that I am the sweetest foster that loves attention but also is quiet when I am working. I am the perfect companion. I love my little friend I live with (she is a Beagle) and she has taught a lot of things about living in a house and amongst people. I love to be outside and a fenced in yard where I can wander around during the day when my folks are busy. I love going for walks and car rides and am pretty much the first to hop into the car!! I am not at all fussy about food and love almost anything you offer me! My foster parents are spoiling me silly and I show my gratitude by behaving and offering kisses and hugs!! My only asks - Please don't leave me alone (at least till I am fully comfortable with my new surroundings). Also, I am still learning to be quiet on walks and not bark at strangers and other dogs out of excitement. You see, I am, after all, a Shepherd and I’m true to my protective nature. But I am learning fast, thanks to the love and support of my foster folks!! From the Foster mom - Freyah is an absolute angel. She has been through a lot and has been misunderstood. She did come with a lot of ifs and buts, but I am happy to report that I see none of the problems that the previous owner reported. We are working on her barking at dogs etc and she is responding beautifully to our training. It seems like she has been in very stressful situations and I know with adequate love and care, she will be the best dog ever! She is amazing. Please consider her. Aubrey is a loving and affectionate Anatolian/German Shephard Mix. She&#39s 70lbs, and 2yrs old. This intelligent girl knows multiple commands (sit, down, stay, wait, place, come), and is house trained and crate trained. She has stayed in her crate for up to 7hr during the day and has done well. Aubrey gets along well with other dogs- she will play for short periods then wants to hang on her own. She has wonderful leash manners, and is easy to take on walks. She is a high energy girl, so staying busy doing doggy puzzles, playing games, or working on her training is an important part of her day to day life! Aubrey would do well in a multi dog home with small introductions. Aubrey loves to go for car rides, and enjoys having a job! She would do well in a family that gives her direction, daily structure, and continued training. She&#39s met older kids and has done well, probably no small kids due to her size. Aubrey does have a high prey drive and loves to chase squirrels, so no kitties for this girl. Barkville rescued Aubrey in January 2022 when she was emaciated and pregnant with 13 pups.
