Story
Unfortunately my brother has recently moved and his new space can't accommodate his dog, Terra 😔 I'm trying to do what I can to assist in rehoming her because she's an absolutely amazing dog. She's a 6 year old German Shepherd. He got her as a puppy from a breeder. She has obedience training. She's crate trained, housebroken, and extremely affectionate. I'm doing what I can to give her a fighting chance at a new, loving home.

Story
Hey there, my name is Chesney! I was hand selected for K9's For Warriors service dog program from Putnam County humane society and passed all my initial tests with flying colors! Since arriving at K9's in May of this year, I've decided I would rather be a family companion over having to work for a living, due to being a bit uncomfortable with some new things and people. If you are patient with me, I promise you, it’s worth it. I love affection and let down my guard down once we become friends. I absolutely adore playing fetch and am pretty good at it! I have made dog friends here while waiting for my furever home, but sometimes I can get very chatty when I’m playing. Overall, I am a playful, bouncy, sweet boy looking for an active household to give me love, patience and help me through my new fears. I am crate trained, food motived and an overall good boy! I am house trained, neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and eagerly waiting for my forever home. If you are considering adopting Chesney, we highly encourage you to reach out to set up a formal meet and greet. We look forward to hearing you from you and can't wait to help find your furever friend!

Story
Hi- I found this guy about a month ago and have been nursing him back to health. He was dragging a heavy chain, and a belt used as a collar that was on very tightly. He was underweight by about 25 lbs per my vet. He now has a proper collar and harness and is doing well. He loves to run and play ball. He is learning to walk on a leash. He seems to have all the traditional German Sheperd traits, very smart and alert. He is under 2 years old, not chipped, not yet neutered. He loves personal attention. I have a reactive dog, so I need to find this guy a loving home.

Story
Violet is a purebred working line German Shepherd that is extremely lovable and fun. She loves to run, play fetch and stay active. She is extremely food-motivated and willing to learn, and would do best in an environment where she has a job. Due to her prey-drive and reactive nature, we need to rehome her as she cannot stay in our home with our older, smaller dog and cats. We do not know how she is around children, but we have worked with many trainers who agree she would do best as an only dog, and not in a home with any dog smaller than 50 pounds or with young children. We have a trainer who is willing to work for the adopting family to aid her transition for our home to yours.
