Story
Meet Harley! Harley is a sweet and spirited 5 year old Lab mix with tons of energy and even more love to share. She is happiest when she is playing fetch, soaking up belly rubs, or curling right up beside you at bedtime. This girl is not only affectionate she is also crate trained and wonderfully well mannered, making her an easy companion to welcome into your home. Harley does need to be the only pet so she can have all your love and attention to herself, but she will return it with boundless loyalty, joy, and snuggles. If you are looking for a fun, devoted best friend, Harley is ready to brighten your life every single day. Story
King is a 1 year old German Shepherd mix with a big personality and lots of energy to match. He is crate trained and has done well with children in his previous home, as well as with other dogs both with a sitter and at the dog park. While he hasn’t been introduced to cats yet, he is generally social and outgoing. King loves to play, especially with hard rubber toys soft or stuffed toys are not a good fit for him. He enjoys outdoor activities like fetch and does well on car rides. As a young, energetic pup, he may pull on the leash, bark at times, and has a tendency to jump when excited. He already knows some basic cues and commands, but he is still working on potty training. Overall, King is a fun loving, active dog who would thrive in a home ready to continue his training and give him plenty of exercise and attention. For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter at 863 324 5227 to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. &#226&#156&#168 Husk Is Ready for His Glow-Up! &#226&#156&#168   Husk has been with us since January, and this 5-year-old German Shepherd/Chow Chow mix is finally ready to take the next step on his journey — into a foster, or even better, a forever home. He’s neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and has finished his heartworm treatment, so he’s all set for a fresh start.   When Husk first arrived, he was a quiet, unsure guy who preferred keeping to himself. Fast forward to today, and you’d hardly recognize him! He now explores the house with confidence, happily hangs with the other dogs, and even greets us in the kitchen after his bath looking for treats (his favorite thing in the world). Snacks are his love language, and they’ve helped him blossom into a calmer, more affectionate companion.   Husk is dog-friendly and feels more at ease with canine buddies, so another pup in the home would be a huge plus. He’s still a work in progress with potty training and the leash, but with patience, consistency, and kindness, he’s proven he can learn and adapt. Every milestone — from relaxing on the couch to enjoying a good brushing — shows just how far he’s come.   This sweet, soulful boy is truly a diamond in the ruff &#226&#156&#168. With the right person or family to believe in him, Husk will keep shining brighter every day. If you’ve got the heart (and a few extra treats), he could be the most rewarding chapter in your story.   Apply today at 4luckydogs.org to meet Husk!
