Story
We adopted Cleo in Feb. 2018 from the Human Society. They found her abandoned and starving. Her microchip has her b-day as 4/12/2016 and I believe she was microchipped by her previous owners. She came to us already trained with basic commands such as sit, stay, and lay down. A common command she is now very familiar with is "Get out of the kitchen." Cleo is a foodie and very smart. She knows how to open pantry doors and has even opened the oven before. We ended up baby proofing our home before having a baby. Cleo has been great with babies and kids. Even when we fostered she had so much patience but we could tell her anxiety was pretty high with all the changes. When she's anxious she chases her tail more or follows us around more. Cleo has been great for us and we love her. This is a hard decision for us but we just don't feel that apartment living is best for her on top of us traveling more for work. We'd love to see her go to a home with a yard and a family with older kids

Story
Kitana is a two year old female Purebred German Sheppard and is a very loving sociable companion with family and kids. Picks up commands very easily and loves to run like a greyhound. She is a bit unsure of other dogs and apprehensive at first until she socializes. She Is well versed with basic commands but could use more training. Unfortunately her current family is saddened that they wont be able to take her with as they're moving to a restricted neighborhood due to her breed. She needs a new home with an experienced trainer that can give her consistent love, attention and exercise regularly which is notorious for a working class breed. Shes an amazing dog smart as a whip and beautiful eyes that will melt your soul.

Story
Keena, my German Shepherd, is the epitome of playful energy and boundless affection. She’s incredibly friendly, always ready to greet everyone with a wagging tail and her signature enthusiasm. Her favorite activities include chasing balls in the yard, going on long walks, and showing off her impressive agility during playtime. However, ever since I started juggling a new job and college, I’ve found it increasingly difficult to give her the time and attention she deserves. Keena thrives on activity and companionship, and it’s heartbreaking to see her not getting the full life she needs. As much as I adore her, I realize that finding her a home where she can get the care and love she deserves might be the best decision for her happiness.

Ollie is here to say he’s ready for a forever home! Ollie is a 2year old German Shepard he is about 60lbs.. he’s been at the rescue about 8months now.. Ollie loves to play fetch, tug a war, and play with a herding ball.. he is super food motivated, and will literally do anything for a treat! Ollie would require an experienced handler, someone willing to continue providing the training Ollie needs. A home with no kids would work best. If you would like more information on Ollie or would like to meet him, please message us. Also, share this post so we can find a FOREVER home!❤️ This boy needs out of the kennels and into the hands of a very loving owner.. Story
Hi, Niko is about 4 years old. He is calm, rarely barks, and is smart. While he is calm, he is an active dog. His sibling had her leg amputated due to an illness and we are unable to have him around her because we worry he might injury her during active play. Because of this, it is difficult for us to keep Niko out of his crate, which is unfair to Niko since he is an active dog. Looking for a good home.

Story
Sugar’s story is one of resilience and hope. She was found on January 7th, tied to a pole in heartbreaking condition. Despite the odds, this brave girl has made incredible progress thanks to her fighting spirit and the care of kindhearted people. However, she still needs ongoing medical treatment for her skin and eye infections, and she’s looking for a loving foster-to-adopt home where she can continue her journey toward full recovery. What Sugar needs: A calm, quiet home: Sugar thrives in a peaceful environment without a lot of activity. Patience & Love: She’s been through a lot and deserves someone who will give her the extra care and attention she needs.Compatibility: Sugar did okay when introduced to other dogs and cats, though she can be a bit stiff. A slow introduction to any pets in the home is essential. Medical Support: She still requires treatment, so someone willing to provide ongoing care and attend veterinary appointments would be ideal. What Sugar Offers: A Loving Companion: Sugar is looking for a “soft place to land” where she can feel safe and loved. Gratitude & Loyalty: Despite her past, Sugar has a big heart and so much love to give to the right person. The Joy of Giving Back: By fostering or adopting Sugar, you’re giving her the second chance she truly deserves. If you can open your heart and home to this sweet senior girl, please reach out to us. Sugar deserves a warm, safe, and loving home where she can spend her golden years. Let’s help Sugar find her happily ever after!**I am currently residing in a Foster Home, but if you are interested in making me a permanent part of your life, please speak with our Office Staff and they can let you know what the next steps would be!**Requirements: Martingale Collar; Foster to Adopt for Senior MedicalAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.
