Story
Thanks to an anonymous donor my fee is FULLY SPONSORED! Hi I'm Nala! I was found as a stray in the Miami area before coming to GOFAR. I'm happy and healthy and ready for my forever home. I'm estimated at about 2.5 years old, weigh around 60 lbs and I'm a Shepherd mix, but a little on the shorter side. I prefer to be an only dog, but a quiet, relaxed dog might be okay with proper introductions? As a shepherd, I would do better with someone who has shepherd/ working dog experience and can help me properly channel my energy and focus. An adult only home, or one with older kids, and a fenced in yard would be ideal for me. I really like to keep my area clean; so do my business outside as long as I’m taken out on a regular basis throughout the day.My adoption fee has been FULLY SPONSORED and is now $0 thanks BISSELL Pet Foundation! I've had my deworming, all vetting, up to date shots, heartworm test (negative) microchip and spay, so all I need now is a home... If you are interested in adopting me, please complete an application at www.gofar.dog under Adopt. If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. If you'd like to experience all the love I have, and want to make me part of your family, please complete the adoption application by pasting this link into your browser: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sm2546&method=online_form_html&formid=21

Story
Hi I'm Hans! I was found abandoned in the Miami area. Fortunately, a Good Samaritan brought me to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue where I received the general and medical care I needed to be ready for my forever home. I'm a sweet, friendly, super handsome German Shepherd (possibly a mix) estimated at just under 2 years old and weighing in at around 75 lbs. I'm good with other dogs and kids and am working on housetraining but will need some reinforcements in my new home. My ideal family is active as I am an energetic guy that needs exercise. My $100 adoption fee includes vet check, neuter, up to date vaccines, deworming, microchip and heartworm test (negative), all already done. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete an application at your earliest convenience at www.gofar.dog under "Adopt".If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. Story
Luna is a gorgeous, purebred, AKC registered black German Shepherd. She is the sweetest girl! Loves walks And is fascinated by bunnies along the route. Broccoli is her favorite snack. But her all time favorite thing is to play fetch with a ball. When she’s tuckered out from playtime she will lie at your feet and take belly scratches or nose scratches, or any other love you are willing to give! We got Luna when she was three years old from a breeder after her breeding years were done. We absolutely love her and hate to part with her. Unfortunately we have a new addition to our house that has allergies to dogs. She is beautiful and sweet tempered. She is extremely calm, rarely barks. She is leash trained, command trained, and housebroken. She is great with our children but we do not have very young kids or cats so uncertain how she would be. She would be a loving wonderful addition to a happy home!!

Story
Hello, my name is Maia. I am an absolutely gorgeous standard German Shepherd, at 61 pounds, I am a beauty. My personality: An energetic gal, I am very eager to learn more. As a shepherd, I am a working class dog, and I do already know "Down" and "Sit", but am happily eager to learn more and more new tricks. Toys are my favorite, a big stuffed animal to chew on and play with is everything I need to help me settle. A water dog, I love to play in any water I can dip my paws in: a puddle, a kiddie pool, anything to splash around in is perfect for me.My needs: I am a beautiful gal yes, but I am more than meets the eye. I have had a hard few months, and being in a shelter environment has not done me any good. A home with a relaxed, calmer household able to keep a consistent environment is what I need, too much stimulation and I get very nervous. Shepherd experience or similar would be best suited for me, someone knowing my caliber and what I need to help with anxiety is best. An adult only home is best for me, especially to keep with the calmer quieter home. With my anxiety, I do need to be an only animal to assist in calming my nerves. With my double coat, someone able to help maintain and keep it shiny and healthy would be great for me.If you have any further questions, please feel free to call GCHS 239-332-0364 and ask to speak to Adoptions.
