❗Current Location: in a local shelter in South Korea❗ • Rescue Story : Meet Hyonie👋 the sweetest gentlest soul! Hyonie was found in a park in South Korea at four months old in March 2022 and taken to a high-risk shelter alongside her two sisters. Luckily, they were saved right before euthanasia by the rescue team. While one of her sisters is living with a foster family, Hyonie is still in the crowded shelter, awaiting her forever family. • Personality: Affectionate, Submissive, Smart Hyonie may seem a little shy at first, but she is surprisingly a BIG cuddler to people, which means that all she needs is a little bit of time to open up in the beginning. She would thrive on affection as she loves to be petted all the time! She would be a great fit if you are searching for a cuddly pup. She learns things quickly as she is a food-driven smart cookie. You will definitely find training her a part of the joyful journey with her! • Affinity with: - Cats: Not tested - Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs. She’s a submissive and gentle type of dog. - Adults/Kids: Good with adults / Unknown for kids • Shedding: 5-6 • Food Allergies: No. • Walking Manner: in training and improving! • Housetrained: Hyonie knows how to use pee-pads even though she lives in the shelter. She may go potty indoors (pads) and outdoors both when adopted. • Bathing/Brushing: Good • Bark or Howl: Barks a little bit toward strangers • Likes & Dislikes: She likes going for walks, playing with toys, and chewing stuff. / She doesn’t like being kept in confined spaces. • Note: She has had two of her toes removed due to blocked circulation of blood caused by blankets tangled around her toes. She's been fully recovered and now fine walking and jumping!

All she asks for from you is pets! Also, she is one of the most laid-back pups in the shelter! She adapts to a new environment very quickly, which implies that she would have a smooth transition after adoption. • Affinity with -Cats: Not tested -Dogs: Gets along with some dogs she is interested in. Story
Darby is a silly and friendly German Shepherd mix pup of 11 months. She was pulled from a high kill shelter where she was on the euthanasia list. She is presently in foster care where she is enjoying routine and freedom. As you can see in the photos, Darby is exceptionally sweet natured and calm for a young dog. She has a maternal instinct toward puppies that are not her own and loves to lounge around with people. Darby is very social and loves playing with other dogs and is also cat friendly! She is a very "go with the flow" puppy. She will do best if she has another doggie companion but a human companion will do! Darby is housebroken, quiet, self entertaining, and crate trained. She is low shed. Darby will be on the smaller side - she currently weighs 45lbs and is nearly full grown. She is up to date on all her vaccines. For an application to adopt the perfect dog, please email paula@pedropetpals.com. You can also call Paula Fox at 310-363-2597 but email is best.

Story
Meet Kuku🧡 Kuku is one of Danpoong’s five puppies. On a bitter winter day, Danpoong was brought to Koren city shelter, where she gave birth to five puppies and suffered from monge. After Adogs rescued them, the other puppies found their forever homes but Kuku and his mom Danpoong are still waiting for their family. * Interaction with people : Loves people so he greets familiar ones with kisses. Gets scared or barks at strangers who approach swiftly, though. Hides to the room after barking with fear at new people who visit home. Warms up shortly if they take time and approach him slowly. * Interaction with dog: Greets nicely other dogs and plays well with them with quick adaptation. Feels comfortable to greet other dogs calmly one by one and gets scared if too many dogs come at him all at once. * Interaction with Cats: Sniffs calmly at cats who stay still but tries to chase running cats. Attention is required. * Separation Anxiety: None at all! Plays or sleeps alone very well even without humans around. * Potty training: Prefers outdoor potty but uses indoor pads with 100% accuracy. No marking. * Hygiene: Dislikes baths as he had weekly medicated baths but gets through it well. Is scared of the blow dryer. Is afraid of having toenails trimmed and tries to nip. His nail length is being controlled with regular walks. * Walks: Has excellent walking manners so he walks beside the walker very well. May pull on the lead when dogs, birds, cats or other animals pass by swiftly. May get nervous and bark when a person suddenly comes running in his direction and is going through training. * Car Sickness: May vomit when he rides the car over 30 minutes. It would be better not to feed him before car rides. * Has mastered commands like 'sit, shake, down, nose, chin’ and is a quick learner. * Has a good appetite, so he may growl when you try to touch his snack. * May get nervous and try to bite defensively when a stranger comes to touch him suddenly. * Is scared and sometimes barks when he hears sudden or unfamiliar noises, but stops very soon. * Gets scared easily, but also is a very curious dog. Shows a lot of affection when you become close to him!

**COURTESY POST** Hello my name is Kimba and I SUPER URGENTLY NEED A FOSTER OR ADOPTIVE HOME! I was rescued from the pound and sent off to a training/boarding place but I can't stay there any longer. You see the "rescue" that I thought had saved me just up and disappeared and left me and a TON of other doggos with nowhere to go UGH! I only have 3 days and then I have to go to another pound where I most likely won't make it out alive. I'm a 2 yo Shepherd/Lab mix weighing around 60lbs and I loves everyone I meets! I love to go on long walks, playing ball and being outside hanging with nice humans.I'm super duper smart and loyal and would make a fabulous companion for the right human person. I should be the only doggo in the house and sorry no cats or small kids I'm trained in basic obedience and I have fabulous leash manners too! CAN YOU HELP ME???? Please send a text to Rachel at 818-378-8995 I'm in the Southern CA area!!

Hi Everyone my name is Sprout and I am so Single and so ready to MINGLE with YOU! Someone turned me loose on the streets where I ran and ran and RAN for months, trying to survive my best by eating what garbage I could find and miraculously I didn't get hit by any cars-whew! A nice human was finally able to catch me and took me to the closest pound so that my owners could find me and take me HOME. Well.... that NEVER happened! 😭😭 I waited for many months until that dreaded RED list came up with my name on it and my future was looking pretty dim 😬😬 I got super lucky because the volunteers loved me so much that they networked me like crazy and a very nice Human Lady decided to sponsor my training so I could LIVE 🩷🩷🩷 You will not come across a more stunning Black GSD than me I promise you that, I turn heads (not to brag-but I'm bragging lol) I have been professionally trained and love all people and other dogs, but hey, cats are not my thing-sorry felines! I'm around 4 years old, I'm super smart and love to "work" and am house and crate trained and my favorite pastimes are running and hiking and I'm an expert cuddler and love giver! I'm also fixed and chipped and ready to pack my bags and move into my For Real Home this time, could that be with you?? Please go to www.bulliesandbuddies.com and fill out an application to ADOPT Me ok? I am in the Southern CA area-sorry but my rescue does NOT adopt out of state

Milo is a 2 year old male. He is not neutered. He is super energetic, he loves to run and play ball. He deserves a loving family that can take care of him and needs lot of time. He does not get along with cats but is super friendly with humans. He doesn’t like other dogs and he barks but when on walks, we have trained him to not bark or approach other dogs. He loves to eat chicken and take naps in the shade. He loves playing with water. He is a pure bred German shepherd and he does shed. We are looking for someone who will give lots of attention to him, take him on walks, cuddle with him, and provide for him like the good boy he is.

Story
We found Winston at a kill shelter in Carson, CA. He was on the euthanasia list due to limited space, and when we saw how sweet he was, we knew we couldn't let that happen. So we brought him home with us, and we're hoping to find him a wonderful forever home. Winston is between 1-1.5 yrs old, and is a German Shepherd mix. He's such a sweet and friendly pup, and is great with other dogs. He definitely still has some puppy energy and loves to play, so he'll need a home where he can burn off all that extra energy. He's a strong puller on walks, but we think with the proper training he'll learn to stick by your side. In just the few days we've had him, he's made incredible improvements -- smart little guy :). If you're willing to give Mr. Norrington plenty of enrichment and training, we think he'll be the perfect, most loving dog you could ask for. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Story
Meet Zeus⚡ * Toward People: Can be a little shy at first. However, once he warms up to people and the environment, he becomes kind and gentle even if someone lifts or touches him unexpectedly. Appreciates human warmth and prefers to lie against or be touched by people. * Toward Dogs: Is getting along well with other doggy friends at Adogs Center! Sometimes acts a little aggressively leading to possible fights when he gets to roused up during play with other dogs. Needs to be carefully watched when he plays with other dogs. * Separation Anxiety: It is unknown due to Zeus living at the Center with other dogs. * Potty Training: Uses outdoor potty at the Center. * Hygiene: Enjoys being brushed but is scared of having his nails trimmed. There should be frequent walks to allow the toenail to be trimmed naturally. * Walks: Slightly scared of a leash and needs to take time in wearing a leash. However, once outside, he does not pull it and walks well in whatever direction a walker pleases. Fears the sounds of cars and motorcycle by the street. * Car sick: Has no carsickness. Has no trouble getting up and down the car! 💌Special Note💌 * Is very gentle and will not bite his caretaker in any situation. * As he occasionally gets into confrontations with other dogs, it would be best if he were the only dog. * Because all the dogs poop in the same area at the Center, Zeus has a habit scatophagy. Any excrement should be cleaned right away. (Scatophagy can be remedied quickly with a training at home.) * Missing his left ear due to a birth defect, but Zeus has no problem with hearing!

Story
**He is currently in Seattle** Mukgoo is about 5 years old. He was found near an army base in Korea and immigrated to America around the age of 1 on President’s Day of 2020. He is an incredibly smart and lovable dog. He is kind and loves people (loves dogs and people). He will eat almost anything (except veggies). He can be a jumper when he gets very excited. He prefers households with another dog and a big yard to run around in but it’s not a non-negotiable. He has always adjusted well to whatever the circumstance. Overall, he’s a good dog and he’s got a lot of love to give. I’m having to give him up due to being unable to raise him in my current life stage. In no way, this is due to any bad behaviors or anything. He’s a really kind-hearted and sweet dog. Likes - He loves playing fetch (quickest way to his heart), rolling in the grass, puppycinos, ice cream, snow, people, dogs - Historically has liked lamb, fish skin, salmon, bully sticks, dental sticks, sweet potato, etc. In general, he loves to eat~ - Very social and prefers to greet other dogs and people, including dog parks, doggy day cares Dislikes - He dislikes bath but who does - He doesn’t like being alone but can manage a few hours if needed - No longer is a fan of veggies - Fireworks and big noises Things to Watch out for - Throwing up: If you let him freely eat grass, he’ll throw up. When he feels stressed, he can react by throwing up. - He can be independent when he is fixated on things. Just be patient with him and he will come back to focus on you. He is a people pleaser. - He rarely barks. He may bark when other dogs bark but even that is rare. He is more of a whiner. If he needs to let you know something, he will whine. - Not a counter surfer but can be if you let him Commands He knows his basic commands (sit, down, hand, etc.) and is open to learning new ones as well. Potty He is used to peeing and pooing outside. Once you create a regular spot and time for him, it’s clockwork. Otherwise, just be aware when he whines that it may be time to go. - At a high level, he knows “go potty” and “go poo” as a sign to go to the bathroom - He will rarely go pee or poo inside the home. Once in a million tries, a thing like that can happen during the night but he’s really sorry when he does. Leash He has never been fully off-leash, only in areas that condone it (home, backyard, dog park, etc.). He is not one to go off-leash and run away. He’ll run around and try to have you play with him. Keep him on a short leash if you need to focus on walking as he can veer away due to his interest in sniffing. Once on a short leash, he’ll understand and walk along. However, give him time to sniff as he is very curious with smells. Sleep He can sleep together or on his own if you’re in a different room or floor. He is also loves to cuddle up as well. When there’s fireworks, it’s recommended you sleep where he sees you because he’s afraid of the loud sounds. Food He is on one meal a day. If you give him two meals a day, he may not eat the first meal. Snacks though he loves. He knows how to sit and wait for food. He is currently on Costco’s salmon and sweet potato meal.
