Story
Ollie | German Shepard | 9-Years-Old | Male | Approx. 70 lbs., should be 75-80 lbs. Ollie came to Lily’s as an owner surrender from Oakland. His most recent owner got him 6 months ago when a neighbor abandoned him, but could no longer care for him. Ollie is a classic German Shepard, intelligent and loyal. Sadly, sweet Ollie has been neglected in his previous home/s and needs lots of TLC to get back to a healthier weight. Luckily, Ollie is very food motivated, making weight gain and training much easier! He’s a very sweet gentleman, looking for a forever home to call his own.

Story
This heartwarming story about Goose, the adorable boy seeking a loving family, truly tugs at the heartstrings. Goose’s journey from a challenging start to blossoming into a loving and gentle dog is remarkable. Goose’s Background: Age: Goose came to us when he was just 3 months old. Previous Experience: Unfortunately, his previous owner left him in a crate for 20 hours a day, resulting in limited exposure to the outside world. Reactivity: As a consequence, Goose developed some reactivity to people. Transformation: However, within just a week of structured training, Goose began to thrive. His loving and gentle nature emerged, and he quickly bonded with his caregivers. Skills: Goose has acquired several valuable skills: Leash Manners: He knows how to walk politely on a leash. Crate Trained: He is comfortable in a crate. Car Riding: He behaves well when riding in a car while crated. Potty Training: Goose is mostly potty trained. Basic Training: He has a foundation in basic commands. What Goose Needs: Confident Owner: Goose would thrive with a confident owner who continues to work on his training and helps him explore new experiences. Love and Care: He deserves a family that will shower him with love and provide a safe, nurturing environment. If you’re interested in welcoming this handsome boy into your home, please reach out to Caitlin at 707-490-8869. And remember, Goose comes with training sessions to ensure a smooth transition into his forever home. Adoption fees include: Spay or Neuter, All vaccinations are up to date, and a microchip.
