Story
We relocated to this area and she was abandoned near our home. We brought her in as she was pregnant and she delivered 7 healthy pups. We fostered her and found homes for all of the puppies but we have 3 other dogs already. We do not know how old she is. She is a very mild mannered girl and extremely sweet. She does like to lounge around and enjoys to eat.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.“Lost Girl” took up residence at the Lindsay High School around early to mid September.  She was being kept alive by some maintenance workers who brought her water for about a week though she was scared and would not come to anybody. The custodial staff attempted to capture her but she was able to run away from them, returning to her safe spot behind the baseball fields. After 2 weeks, she still would not leave so we started to bring her dog food which has become a daily feeding to include weekends. “Lost Girl” is now starting to trust me to the point where I can hand feed her and she will allow me to scratch her head though still skittish.  However, when she see’s me coming she smiles and jumps for pure joy knowing she will be fed, watered and provided some attention. When I leave, she will walk with me until the gate where she will turn around and return to her safe spot.“Lost Girl” is very healthy, clean teeth and spry. She is polite and plays nicely with my dogs when I come feed her with them on weekends. She knows “come” and actually plays with tennis balls she finds at the courts by herself. This dog is adorable and just wants a safe place to be a good companion.  If you are wondering why I don’t take her home, I would in an instant but I have taken home 2 other homeless dogs in the past 3 months with 2 others we brought home prior for a total of 4.  We are maxed out.My name is John Caesar and the best way to get hold of me is my Cell:  509-341-9066.This companion animal is available through the CVRR 'Home to Home' program. Bailey was found at a swap meet in Hanford at approximately four-five months old. A woman was overheard saying that she was going to euthanize her if no one took her home. My daughter brought her home to save her from this fate. She appears to be a Malinois shepherd but may be a mix. Bailey will receive her final vaccinations on November 12, 2024 and she has an appointment to be spayed. Bailey is in good health with a good appetite. She has recently been dewormed and received flee & tick treatment. Bailey is in good health with a good appetite. She is active and enjoys playing both with people and by herself. She is not on any medication, has no apparent ailments, and is well formed. Bailey is a loving and playful 6-month-old puppy. She currently is living with my husband, adult daughter, and I. We have an outside cat (she is not allowed to chase her) and she has played nicely with a friend’s kitten under supervision. She would be a good family pet and has demonstrated the ability to bond with the people she lives with. We are taking her on walks and exposing her to more people and animals. Sometimes when Bailey meets a stranger, she becomes scared and barks and growls at them. Like most shepherds, she needs time to get used to new people. We have not exposed her to children but on walks she is calm around them. Bailey is sweet and is not an alpha dog. Bailey is house broken. She goes to the back door and stays there until we let her out to do her business. She has never had an accident in the house. She is in the process of some basic training and currently responds to sit, stay, and down. She is working on her socialization skills with people and other animals. She is food motivated. We are also training her to not pull on the leash when out for a walk. She is not crate trained and sleeps in my daughter’s room at night. Bailey is the typical puppy and chews a lot. She loves her toys; her current favorite is a small rubber football. She enjoys playing tug of war and running around the yard. She is happiest when she is with her family, although she spends time by herself in the backyard. She often naps and relaxes or plays with her toys in the living room during the day. She is accustomed to being a passenger in the car.
