German Shepherd mix, male puppyMeet Ryatt, a stray from Tranquility, CA. He was dumped about a month ago and finally brought in by one of CCHDR’s star fosters. Ryatt was goofy and friendly, even when on his own, but that certainly wasn’t a safe solution. Now he’s getting lots of love, structure, and training. Ryatt is a 7 month old (as of Feb 2025), 60lb and growing German Shepherd mix. He already knows sit, lay down, and here. He’s working on stay, wait (for food), okay (release command), and shake. He’s also doing great with crate training and is very food motivated. He is also cat friendly! Great with other dogs, just a lot of puppy enthusiasm. Ryatt is located in Tranquillity, CA near Fresno. Foster is willing to drive a few hours in any direction for the perfect home. He is UTD on vaccines, and can go home on a neuter contract. Mixed breed puppy, maleApollo (m), Cosmo (m), and Atlas (m) came into rescue with two other siblings that have been adopted out. These 10 week old babies (as of 1/14/25) were found in an orchard near Fresno. No mom, no dad in sight…just 5 happy and healthy pups. We’re calling them a “valley special” because they are such a mix of breeds. Some are fluffy, some are curly, the color and coat patterns are that of the rainbow. We have no idea how big they’ll be at maturity, although likely on the larger side. Lots of unknowns, so if you’re the kind of person that likes a surprise, come on down for one. We DO know that they are sweet, social, and wiggly pups who had an unknown / rough start to life, but will now have a much brighter future. They will be microchipped, on a vaccine schedule, and can go home on spay/neuter contracts.
