Story
Hello! This is Andromeda, a 2 year old GSD that is full of energy and silliness! I've had Andromeda since she was a little puppy, and unfortunately my life has changed to where I can't give her the proper life she would prosper in. Full disclosure, she is anxious and very fearful of new experiences. She gets along with dogs (if you have any) if with them for a long time. She has tried to nip at people and kids before, so an optimal fit would be someone that knows GSDs very well. Other than that, she is full of love and loves to run, have fun, and would be an ideal farm dog!

Story
Breed: German Shepherd X DOB: 11/2011 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: long Size: large Color(s): light tan / black Description:Hi, I'm Roxy, a beautiful German Shepherd X who is in need of a new home as three indoor cats are coming to live in the home and I am not good with cats. I also do not get along with other dogs, small animals or birds. I need to be your one and only.I enjoy my hips scratched, my chest rubbed, daily morning walks (I use a harness.) and Pupperoni treats. I don't care for biscuit treats much. I seem to like people and children as long as I don't feel threatened by them. The 4th of July is not my favorite holiday as fireworks scare me.I know people will pass me by due to my age and all the things I don't care for, but I hope there is someone who will see me for the special dog that I am. Please fill out an online application if you want to meet me.November 7, 2024, 11:05 am

Breed: German Shepherd X DOB: 11/22/2019 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: large Color(s): brown/black little white on chest Description: Hi, I'm Cali, a beautiful German Shepherd X in need of a new home as my owner is deploying and I cannot go too. Thankfully CARL has accepted me into their adoption program and will help me find a new home. I'm good with children and people, but skittish with other dogs. It's unknown how I'd do with cats. I've had formal training and know basic commands. I enjoy playing fetch and snuggling. The best home for me would be with older children and as the only dog. If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application to meet me. *Thank you to Sharon for sponsoring this wonderful dog at the Burnice Kraemer Sanctuary and giving her the chance for a better life. Available to foster or adopt!Breed: German Shepherd X DOB: 2/2020 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: large Color(s): black/brown Description: ***Needs a Foster Home*** This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online application. Hi, I'm Icarus, a handsome German Shepherd X rescued from Animal Services. I'm grateful to my sponsor for making it possible for me to come into the CARL program and for giving me another chance at finding my forever home. It was noted at Animal Services that I loved squeaky toys and tummy rubs! I had been responding well to leash training with their staff and volunteers. They thought the best home for me would be adult only with no other dogs and generally minimal contact with other dogs. If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application. *Thank you to Sharon for sponsoring this wonderful dog at the Burnice Kraemer Sanctuary and giving him the chance for a better life. Story
Breed: German Shepherd X DOB: 8/2024 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: large Color(s): red brown / black Description: Hi, I'm Corky, a sweet German Shepherd X in need of a forever home. I'm active and learning to be a big boy who can walk on leash. I participated in playgroups at the kennel. I was a bit nervous, but I was interested in playing. I would make chase but if a dog came too fast I'd back down. Since I'm just a puppy, children in the home must be at least 6 years of age. I know everyone wants a puppy, but please be sure you're ready to take on a puppy as it's similar to having a newborn (2-legged kind) in the home. It's a lifetime commitment, not a temporary one where the love and attention wears off after I'm grown. If you're ready and able to give me a lifetime of love and wonderful memories, I promise to fill your life with love, laughter and so much happiness. Please fill out an application to meet me.December 3, 2024, 11:25 pm
