Yvette is in foster care in Huntington Beach SO Cal area. Yvette is such a nice compact little shepherd girl who is almost 3yrs old and weighs 60 pounds. She has been waiting awhile for a family and her friend we rescued with her has been adopted leaving Yvette alone and waiting. She is gentle and playful with other dogs the same size as her in her playgroup. She likes toys, scampering and bowing around the play yard and is great in the car and on leash. She still has puppy energy and may play a little to hard to be with really small dogs and she doesn't care for kitties. For a family this dog has an amazing personality and does her best to mind and please. Yvette could play ball from sunrise till bedtime and never tires of her favorite toy. She like water and on hot days can be seen splashing contentedly in her kiddie pool. The beach lake or river would be her idea of Heaven. Forest was abandoned with 2 other shepherds. At first he wouldn’t come into the house and now he doesn’t want to leave. He is estimated to be around 3 or 4 years old. He’s very dignified, loves to be petted. He is great around other dogs. He does have an issue with going on a leash which we are working on. He seems to have had a traumatic past but now he is learning that life is good. Please get in touch if you are interested to know more about this beautiful boy. He is fully vaccinated and has a neuter appointment coming up on 08/13 so would not be officially adopted until he is neutered.

Rex is such a love!!! Rex was born on February 17, 2022. He is a big boy at about 100 pounds and he is very tall. He is a shepherd with some cattle dog mixed in. He loves the outdoors, so he would be amazing for a family with some property or a large yard, but he also adores being with his people, so he is happy to chill inside as well. He still has a few puppy traits (occasionally finds something to chew on, that he shouldn't), but for the most part, he is just a great dog with a good amount of energy, but not too crazy! He loves toys and he loves puppies! He does seem to get along with most dogs with a proper intro. Sometimes he gets a little over excited meeting new dogs when he is on a leash, so he may bark at them (and he has a big bark), but he will settle down. We think he would be a good dog for someone with mobility issues because of his height and size. He's great in the car and he's good with kids but because of his size and occasionally mouthing and herding, we think he's probably best with older kids. He is housetrained and crate trained. He really is such a good boy and we can't quite figure out why he hasn't found a home yet. Currently in need of new foster in So Cal or can be adopted anywhere in California. Adoption fee of $200 includes spay/neuter, core vaccines (DAPP and rabies), microchip, access to training videos. We met this beautiful girl at a local Walmart while collecting Toys for Tots with the Explorers. A family was moving out of state with four kids and dogs in a small RV and didn't have room for her. We took her in and she became an unofficial mascot of our post and she wound up housed in our place. She has amazing eyes, beautiful coat and is full of energy. She is wonderful with people, especially kids. Best of all she is not finicky. She'll make a fine guard dog and companion for everyone in your home. Unfortunately changes at the station, as well as my own living situation--I am going overseas, and getting married--mean we need to find her a more permanent and still loving home.

This is Gio, PointyFace, GioSquarePants. He is a soul dog and everyone he meets feels his adoring energy. He is 2yrsish and had ruff beginnings. He is exceptionally trained, 5wk board and train, continued weekly day long adventures with his trainer and walks about 3 miles or so a day. He walks well, loves to jog. He will come to you with e-collar, crate, place cots, and a training session $250 homing fee to cover training session where you will learn his language for successful transition. He loves belly rubs, truck rides, walks, ball, brushes. He is so good and lovely. We never tested him around children (ignores on walks though), cats, or small dogs. He is not the reg high energy of a Belgian as he has joint stiffness. He is super sweet and submissive though shows some aggression towards male, unfamiliar dogs. He would love to lay at your feet and follow you around with a smile on his face.
