Story
Looks like: German Shepard Female, 11 years old (estimated), 70 pounds Meet Zoey, an older girl with a young but gentle soul! This sweet gal is full of love and just wants to show everyone how much she cares through infinite tail wags and big tongue smiles! Zoey was well cared for by her previous guardian, as she seems house-trained and loves riding in the car! She does have a bit of strength left in her, so Zoey is looking for a person who can handle her pulling on the leash. We think she is pulling primarily because she is trying to go and find her former guardian (heartbreaking!), but we know that once she finds her next forever home, she will settle right in. Zoey is in her golden years and is looking for someone with a big heart to scoop her up and spoil her rotten! Could that be you? Zoey's guardian passed away, and the family member who was left with her was unable to care for her. When she went missing and ended up at the shelter, the family member surrendered her to Hitchcock Road Animal Services to be re-homed.

Story
4 year old spayed female. Adopted her at 10 weeks. This has been her only home. Acquired her from a local breeder. She was originally adopted for my exes son, but Charlie stayed with me when they moved. I no longer have the time and resources to give her the time and attention she needs. She is playful and loves fetch, loves company, and has a lot of energy. She gets along fine with smaller dogs and cats. She hasn't been around bigger dogs much, so I am not sure how she would respond, but on the trails, she is curious to play with the other bigger dogs, but is not sure how, if that makes sense.. I think with more exposure to big dogs, she will adjust fine. She has never been aggressive to any other pet or person. No health issues. I am looking for someone who has the time and resources to care for her in the way she is meant to and totally deserves. Preferably someone with GSD experience, but also open to someone who feels they are ready to take on a big dog that loves to be active.

Story
Roo is a 2yr old German Shepard (95%) who was rescued from a shelter as a puppy. She is very loving, loyal, and full of energy. She is very sweet and loves attention. She’s great with other animals and kids but can compete for attention. This is one of the reasons we sadly need to rehome her. We have a toddler with another baby on the way and cannot give her the time and attention she deserves. She’s an 85lb love bug and usually that’s great but sometimes it can be too much for our little toddler. We want her to go to the right home and will never give her to a shelter. If you’d like to meet her in person first that’s perfectly fine with us. Also she is the world’s best cuddler and tries to be as good as possible. She’s never been aggressive but she has been possessive over things like a water bowl or bone and expresses herself through barking. She’s never bit anyone or anything aggressively.
