Story
Tule found us about 5 months ago. She was either abandoned or she ran away from home. We took her to the vet and she didn’t have a chip or an owner that we could find. She is around a year old, 35 pounds and is a German Shepherd mixed with more breeds unknown to us. Tule is a funny, smart, and playful dog. Although we love her, we can’t provide the type of life she deserves. She has some quirks that we believe she had developed from being on her own for a long time. She has done well on leash, learned basic commands and is potty trained, but still has some habits we haven’t been able to resolve. This includes running away and chewing on objects around the house. She responds well to an ecollar, but she needs to be a working dog and live on acreage where she can run for miles. She is not meant to be an indoor dog or live in an apartment complex. She needs a purpose and an owner with the ability to give her one. We are willing to wave the adoption fee for the right people.

Story
Carlisle is in desperate need of a foster or adopter ASAP! Miracle dog and Stanislaus Survivor Carlisle is ready to be adopted. Carlisle sat in the shelter for over 2 weeks with no one willing to help him because his injury was pretty severe and expensive to fix. He fractured his L7 vertebrae. We think he is about 2 years old. We found the most skilled Neurosurgeon at VCA Referral Center and found a medical donor willing to take a chance on the surgery. There was no guarantee it would work, but Carlisle had such a will to live, we knew had to try. The Surgeon did not give up either and he decided to make it happen. So we pulled the boy and off he went to VCA for a $12,000 plus surgery. Carlisle has made a full and complete recovery! It is a true miracle. He has been in two foster homes and his current foster home can only keep him until the end of May. He should be an only dog for now. He is still intact, but his neuter will be done while in foster care, if adopted ( foster to adopt) or as soon as we can get him in for the surgery. Carlisle is great with kids and people. He is good on leash. He is not the best with other animals, seems to have a prey drive, so no small dogs or cats or farm animals. Female dogs his size or larger should be fine, but we will demand slow intros. He is so deserving of a home and we need a foster or an adopter for him ASAP! Interested in meeting Carlisle? Let us know! *Call or text 833-473-7364 or *Send an email to sacrdroperations@gmail.com (including your phone number) or *Message us on social media @resilientdogrescue or *Inquire using the Adopt a Petfinder system - be sure to include your phone number We look forward to hearing from you! Our adoption application will need to be completed and submitted. It can be found here: https://bit.ly/sacrdr-adoptionapp You can follow Carlisle on FB, Insta and TikTok using #sacrdrcarlisle

Story
My mom got Koa when he was about 1.5yrs old from someone in the Bay Area that could no longer care for him due to health issues. Koa is the most loving, gentle and loyal dog you have ever met. He is a mild mannered dog, loves to play with balls, is a great walking companion and protector. Koa is great with people, especially with kids, he just loves to be loved on. He does have basic obedience training IE: sit, down, stay.

Story
Meet Art, a dog whose spirit is as vibrant as her name suggests. Art’s favorite thing to do is play, however, she is far too possessive of tennis balls, so we recommend future owners discover other items of enrichment for her. She has a strong drive with toys, so dog sports could potentially be a good outlet for her energy. True to her breed, she is incredibly smart and curious about new things. She is the perfect companion for those seeking an energetic friend to accompany them on their adventures. Occasionally she may forget her manners and say hello with a jump or not want to share her favorite toy, so any children in her new home are required to be 10 or older. However, Art does have a gentle side as well. She loves cuddles and affection from people. Once she looks at you with her soft brown eyes, you will want nothing more than to pet her as long as possible. While Art loves people, she isn’t as fond of canine companions. She doesn’t think they are fun to be around, so she is required to go to a single dog home and not visit dog parks. Come down to the Placer SPCA, and add some Art to your life. Story
Zoey is a sweet and playful one-year-old German Shepherd with a heart full of energy and love! Adopted through a German Shepherd rescue, she’s blossomed into an affectionate, loyal companion. Zoey loves nothing more than going for runs, whether it’s a jog around the block or a trip to the park. Playtime is her favorite, and she’s especially fond of tug-of-war, always ready for a fun challenge. This sweet girl has grown up around small children and is incredibly gentle and playful with them, making her the perfect family companion. Zoey’s big, bright eyes and wagging tail show just how much joy she brings to everyone around her. Whether she’s running, playing, or snuggling up after a busy day, Zoey’s sweet nature makes her a beloved part of the family.

Story
Meet Marco Polo, a dog whose spirit is as adventurous as his namesake. His energy is infectious, lighting up any room he enters with his playful antics. Marco Polo is a goofball, his silly demeanor bringing laughter and joy to everyone around him. He`s also incredibly friendly, always ready to make new friends, be they human or canine. Despite his boundless energy, Marco Polo knows when it`s time to chill, showing a softer, affectionate side that`s just as endearing. He`s a companion who will make every day brighter with his zest for life. Marco Polo`s adoption would mean a home filled with fun, laughter, and endless love. His cheerful personality is sure to bring joy and happiness to his future family. Marco Polo is still learning how to display his excitement politely and may jump up on his favorite people. Because of this, we recommend that any children in his new home are age 10 or older. He may do well with other dogs in his new home after a slow introduction. Marco Polo chased cats in his previous home, so we are requiring that he does not go to a home with cats.Adoption Price: $200Monthly Promotion Applies!
