Story
Fyn is a 5 year old black German Shepherd. We adopted him from the SPCA when he was 3 months old. The SPCA found him wandering outside without a home or collar. Fyn has been a great dog for our family (husband, wife, 7 y/o son, 4 y/o daughter). He loves our family so much and we love him. He will always be by your side, is always willing to play, and loves outdoor adventures (especially with water or snow!). He is a protective dog. Which is why we are looking to rehome him. Fyn loves all of our friends and family and wildly wags his very long tail whenever friends and family come over. However, he is very protective of the wife and kids of our family. When the husband is around, this is less of an issue. Fyn has had a few instances of aggression toward other dogs when the husband was not around. One of the times led to a hospital visit for the other (small) dog. He has given warning signs of aggression and nips to humans but has never injured a human.

Story
Carlisle is in desperate need of a foster or adopter ASAP! Miracle dog and Stanislaus Survivor Carlisle is ready to be adopted. Carlisle sat in the shelter for over 2 weeks with no one willing to help him because his injury was pretty severe and expensive to fix. He fractured his L7 vertebrae. We think he is about 2 years old. We found the most skilled Neurosurgeon at VCA Referral Center and found a medical donor willing to take a chance on the surgery. There was no guarantee it would work, but Carlisle had such a will to live, we knew had to try. The Surgeon did not give up either and he decided to make it happen. So we pulled the boy and off he went to VCA for a $12,000 plus surgery. Carlisle has made a full and complete recovery! It is a true miracle. He has been in two foster homes and his current foster home can only keep him until the end of May. He should be an only dog for now. He is still intact, but his neuter will be done while in foster care, if adopted ( foster to adopt) or as soon as we can get him in for the surgery. Carlisle is great with kids and people. He is good on leash. He is not the best with other animals, seems to have a prey drive, so no small dogs or cats or farm animals. Female dogs his size or larger should be fine, but we will demand slow intros. He is so deserving of a home and we need a foster or an adopter for him ASAP! Interested in meeting Carlisle? Let us know! *Call or text 833-473-7364 or *Send an email to sacrdroperations@gmail.com (including your phone number) or *Message us on social media @resilientdogrescue or *Inquire using the Adopt a Petfinder system - be sure to include your phone number We look forward to hearing from you! Our adoption application will need to be completed and submitted. It can be found here: https://bit.ly/sacrdr-adoptionapp You can follow Carlisle on FB, Insta and TikTok using #sacrdrcarlisle

Story
Meet Annabelle, a vivacious senior dog with a heart full of love and a spirit that defies her age. Her energy is infectious, making every day a new adventure. She`s fiercely independent, but don`t let that fool you - she cherishes companionship and loyalty. Her friendly demeanor is a beacon of joy that can brighten up any room. Annabelle is a testament to the timeless bond between humans and dogs, always eager to share her love with those around her. Adopting Annabelle means gaining a loyal friend who will fill your days with joy and companionship. Annabelle likes her independence, so we recommend that any children in her new home are age 10 or older so they can understand her boundaries. She is selective of the other dogs she shares her space with, so we will be requiring dog introductions for potential adopters who already have a canine companion at home to see if Annabelle and her new friend will be a good match. Annabelle has a history of chasing cats, so she is required to have no cats in her new home.Adoption Price: $150Monthly Promotion Applies

Story
Meet Art, a dog whose spirit is as vibrant as her name suggests. Art’s favorite thing to do is play, especially if the game involves a tennis ball. She has a strong drive with toys, so dog sports could potentially be a good outlet for her energy. True to her breed, she is incredibly smart and curious about new things. She is the perfect companion for those seeking an energetic friend to accompany them on their adventures. Occasionally she may forget her manners and say hello with a jump or not want to share her favorite toy, so any children in her new home are required to be 10 or older. However, Art does have a gentle side as well. She loves cuddles and affection from people. Once she looks at you with her soft brown eyes, you will want nothing more than to pet her as long as possible. While Art loves people, she isn’t as fond of canine companions. She doesn’t think they are fun to be around, so she is required to go to a single dog home and not visit dog parks. Come down to the Placer SPCA, and add some Art to your life. New spaces can make Ambrose nervous, so we recommend that any children in her new home are age 10 or older so they can understand her needs. She will also not be allowed to visit dog parks.Adoption Price: $200Monthly Promotion Applies!
