Story
Rocco is the kindest, most cuddly and handsome German shepherd you’ll ever meet. He gives the best cuddles in the morning and late at night. He will lean in to hugs and kisses and not pull away. He spends a lot of time in his igloo but he loves walks. he is housetrained and neutered. He is 105 pounds of pure love. we thought we could keep him in our condo, but it has ended up not being the best environment for him to grow. When we rescued him he was having multiple seizures per day. He now has no seizures at all for the past year and a half and he is medication free as well. In addition , He had very expensive brain scans and they are totally clear. He is a healthy, lively, young German shepherd boy, born January 2021. The only thing that he doesn’t like is the vacuum cleaner. He could use recall training. He is somewhat leash trained. He does well with a gentle leader leash brand. We are going to miss Rocco more than we can describe, but we think this is in his best interest..

Story
Say hello to this handsome fellow Scoob! This guy just can't catch a break! He's been waiting for a couple years now to find his own family. Scoob came from the streets, so we don't have much info on his background. He's a big boy and being black he gets overlooked. Scoob has really worked hard at being the best boy and facing his fears in public. He used to be extremely vocal around vehicles, motorcycles, bikes & skateboarders but he has learned there's nothing to get worked up about! He enjoys going out & meeting people. He is social with other dogs after he has had a chance to relax a bit. Scoob really wants to bond with someone. He is eager to learn but still hesitant to push his limits until he is comfortable with you. Scoob is looking for a family that likes adventures & hikes. Because he is so big & still learning things, we do not suggest small children or cats. He just needs to bond so he can be the dog we know he wants to be! He just needs someone to give him a chance. He wants his own person. Scoob is about 4 years old, neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Scoob, please visit our website www.lolr.org and fill out an adoption application. He's been patiently waiting for his forever family.   ##1453083##

Story
Lucy is the best dog. She is loyal to her humans. So good with kids and small animals. We have had her a few years and despite my two young daughters rough housing she has never even growled in their direction. This is a lot since i’m pretty sure she’s had her tail accidenrly stepped on! Our family adopted her at about age 6 so we guess that she’s about 8 now. We are a busy family with two full time working parents. Recently, Lucy has show high anxiety when not around her humans. We just aren’t home enough to interact with her and we feel that she has behavioral issues because of this. If she has access to outside she will dig. She also has frequent panic attacks where she will start panting for no apparent reason. The vet has ruled out any health issues. Says that it seems to be behavoral. We have her on prozac. That helps a bit but we just really feel she needs a home where she can be given the attention and love she deserves! Please play tug of war with Lucy!
