Story
RETIRED WORKING DOG!! Gifford is a 5-year-old German Shepherd that faithfully served his country as a detector dog but needed to retire due to medical diagnosis of immune mediated polyarthritis. He has been living in a home with 2 small dogs and has shown to be friendly with dogs of all sizes. He has not shown aggression towards cats or smaller sized dogs. He is crate trained and house broken. Due to his energy levels, he may be better suited in a home with older children. He absolutely loves car rides and is friendly with people. Because of his medical condition, he takes daily medication. He can no longer get vaccinated although he did receive all his vaccines before his diagnosis. And he is currently unable to be neutered. Documentation can be provided to adopter regarding prior working status. Our family deeply cares for him but cannot provide the level of time and engagement he deserves. Seeking a committed, loving home where he can thrive.

Story
Zoey was originally found as a stray after she wandered up to St. Jude's Church in the Southcrest neighborhood. The church community made every effort to find her original owners, but they were unsuccessful. Therefore, the church's priest took her in, providing the yard and energy she needed. However, he is now being reassigned to a new church location that does not allow pets, so we are looking for a wonderful home for her. Zoey is extremely sweet, energetic, and playful. She has been around many other dogs and gets along great with them. She is approximately one year old, spayed, and completely up to date on all her vaccinations. She is already potty-trained! We are asking for an adoption fee to ensure Zoey goes to a committed, loving home. We will provide her new family with all of her current belongings. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. Thank you.

Story
**Courtesy Post** Meet Honey! This incredibly sweet two-year-old girl was found wandering the streets of Tijuana while pregnant, walking through traffic and asking strangers for belly rubs. Despite everything she had been through, she was incredibly trusting and affectionate. A good samaritan brought her to safety, made sure she was healthy, and two weeks later she gave birth to eleven puppies! Now that her puppies are growing up, it's finally Honey's turn to find the loving forever home she deserves. Honey is extremely affectionate and still loves belly rubs! She's gentle with children of all ages and great with friendly dogs. Honey walks beautifully on a leash and is potty trained. She's very trainable, smart, and eager to please. This loving girl adores cuddling and being close to her people. Honey does wonderfully out in public—she's super calm and will just hang out at your feet at breweries or restaurants, making her the perfect companion for any adventure. Honey would thrive in a loving home with lots of affection and does well with friendly, non-aggressive dogs or as the only dog. She's ready for a safe home, a cozy bed, and a family to love her forever. Could that be you?

Story
Meet Harrison, we affectionately refer to him as ‘Happy Harry’ because of the immense joy he radiates. This spirited boy thrives on playtime, whether it’s with the larger dogs or his siblings, always eager to be at the center of the action. His excitement can lead to a bit of nipping, especially when he forgets to hold back during affectionate moments. Harry craves recognition and strives to please, often attempting to anticipate what will earn him praise. While he may not be as assertive as his siblings when it comes to couch cuddles, he is incredibly snuggly and relishes his moments of closeness. His love for food, combined with his desire for attention, suggests that training him should be a rewarding experience, even if he isn’t quite as quick-witted as his sister Gia. Currently, he seems more focused on the other dogs, likely due to his less demanding nature, but I believe that will shift once he has the chance to shine on his own. Apply to meet him today!
