Story
#A5595721 Noel (formerly Clementine) is a wonderful 1-year-1-month white spayed female German Shepherd who came to the Baldwin Park shelter as a stray on November 24. Weighing 52 pounds, Noel is an adorable pup ready for her forever home! Noel boasts clean teeth and, though a little thin, is a stunning girl. She's thrilled to explore the shelter yard, showing her curiosity and enthusiasm for new experiences. Noel approaches interactions with other dogs non-reactively, displaying an interest in making new furry friends.  Her good-natured demeanor shines through, marked by her affectionate disposition and eagerness to please.  This intelligent pup learns quickly and eagerly responds to guidance and training, making her a quick study for those looking to teach new tricks. Noel pulls a bit on the leash, but with some focused training, she'll be able to learn quickly.  Her energy level falls into the medium puppy range, offering a perfect blend of playfulness and composure.  One of Noel’s delightful habits is sitting nicely for pets, a testament to her gentle and obedient nature.  This lovable pup will be the perfect companion for someone seeking a devoted and affectionate furry friend.   NOEL’S VIDEO: https://youtu.be/paer9FEyXao   For more information, contact volunteer Mike at  mike@unitedhopeforanimals.org ----------------------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. #A5660495 Meet Hercules , a dashing German Shepherd and Siberian Husky mix with a soft, cozy coat, cute cream-colored socks, and a big fluffy tail that’s just begging for pets! Although he’s been a little aloof in the shelter, which is understandable after being isolated for so long, you can see that Hercules truly craves companionship and just needs some time to feel safe and decompress. Once he’s comfortable with you, he’ll happily plop down and roll over belly up for pets – his way of asking for all the love! Hercules is wonderful with people and loves to solicit affection, but he could use some confidence-building and socialization to really shine with other pups. Story
#A5659833 Meet Arby ,  a 1-year-old black German Shepherd with a stunning jet-black coat that shines like onyx! This big, handsome boy has the classic sloping back and majestic stature that makes German Shepherds such a beloved breed. At his young age, Arby still has a bit of a playful, puppylike attitude and is eager to learn – he already knows commands like sit and paw, and with some training, he'll be even more refined! Though he’s strong and could benefit from more leash work, Arby is so smart and  perfectly ready to become the ideal doggo companion. Unfortunately, this regal pup has some fly strikes that suggest he's spent too much time outside, despite his young age. Sweet Arby deserves to be a pampered indoor pup whose only time outdoors is spent running, romping, and going on adventures with his new family. Are you ready to add Arby to yours, for a lifetime of loving, loyalty, and excitement? 1 year 1 month old black German Shepherd 82 pound neutered male - don’t be fooled, Arby’s long coat makes him look bigger than he actually is! May need some standard shots and preventatives before you can take him home - this is easy to do through the shelter! Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 10/24/24 as a stray glorious jet black coat, shines like onyx classic sloping back and body shape of a GSD - perfect for fans of the breed big boy, even for his breed - incredibly handsome and majestic still quite young, shows signs of a playful puppy-like attitude intelligent pup, knows basic commands like sit and paw - seems like he's had some training, with the opportunity to learn even more is strong, so could benefit from more leash work has some fly strikes that suggest he's spent too much time outside - deserves to be a pampered inside pup that only spends his time outside having fun and on adventures!   ARBY'S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/L1AXx5f3AE4   For more information, contact volunteer Lisa at lisaa@unitedhopeforanimals.org.   ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter.
