You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I can't say enough about Blue Nova. Just look at this precious girl, she's not only beautiful and sweet she's smart and oh so loving&#226&#157&#164 Her foster mama says "when she loves you she loves you hard" Blue Nova, is professionally trained so she needs an experienced owner that is willing to keep up her skills. She's a wonderful playmate with the puppies that come into our rescue, but as all dogs proper intro is required. Blue Nova, thrives on love and attention so we would prefer her to be with someone that can provide her with unconditional love. She wants to be your cuddle bug and protector, she loves her people immensely. She's a big strong dog who doesn't realize her size. Because of her strength she would do best in a home with no young children. She loves hiking, playing fetch and loves to swim. Are you a pack leader, who can provide Blue Nova with love and structure? Because this is what Blue Nova needs to thrive! If you live in San Diego County or surrounding areas, have a home with a yard and a minimum of a 6ft fence and would love to meet this awesome girl then please complete our adoption application at www.tlck9rescue.org Thank you TLC K9 RescueVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 16, 2024, 11:57 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I'm determined to find this absolutely delightful boy a wonderful home. Luke, a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix, has endured more hardship than most will ever know. Abandoned on the streets, he was discovered by my foster with burns on his backside—a tragic testament to the cruelty some animals face. It’s incomprehensible to me why anyone would want to harm such a majestic creature, filled with love and resilience. Despite his past, Luke’s spirit shines brightly, embodying the very essence of hope and kindness. What makes Luke even more special is his selflessness. This precious boy donated two pints of his blood without a struggle to help save the life of one of my other small rescue dog who would have died without Luke’s help and I believe he knew it. Witnessing his bravery and compassion in such a challenging moment cemented my commitment to finding him a loving family that will cherish him for the incredible soul he is. Luke is playful with larger dogs, showcasing his exuberance, yet he remains calm and gentle around small dogs and even cats. His gentle disposition and loving nature show that he truly deserves a second chance at life—a chance filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of a forever home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 9:16 pm

Story
How this pet arrived: Bane was brought in by his previous owner on 10/19/2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Bane! This sweet, handsome and active guy has built wonderful relationships with our shelter staff during his stay with us, showing his affectionate side once he feels comfortable. Bane will thrive as the only pet in a quiet home with active adults, as he can be reactive/selective with other dogs, has shown prey drive with cats and other small animals, and prefers his space when it comes to his favorite items, food and treats. Any children in Bane's environment should be 16 or older. Loud noises aren't his favorite, so a calm, stable environment would suit him best. If you're looking for a loyal buddy who'll appreciate a cozy, but active and understanding home, Bane might just be your perfect match! Story
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! (Located in Valley Center, CA, North San Diego County) S'mores is ready for her forever home! S'mores is a sweet young shepherd mix. She was rescued from a Riverside County shelter and is fostered here at Ash Tree Ranch Rescue in Valley Center. She is good with people and most other dogs, is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. S'mores is content when spending time at home with her person/people and also likes to be active. She'd be a great walking or jogging partner. We have not had her around kids, so an adult home is best. She hasn't had much formal training, so some direction will be required, but she is smart, a fast learner, and is very willing. If left alone outside at all, S'mores will need a 6' fenced yard or kennel. Message me for more info if you are interested in providing a great home for S'mores.

Story
Bouncer is a very cute baby boy that was said to be "a rottie-type" when he was sent to us by a shelter. At this stage, he could also pass for a bi-color german shepherd as well! Whatever his ancestry, Bouncer has a great personality. He's outgoing and fearless! He is also gentle and loving and is going to be an amazing and beautiful companion. He loves people and other dogs that will tolerate his "puppiness". He's got some big paws, so he may grow to be quite large! As of June 2023, Bouncer is about three months old. He's vetted and has had his first two shots. Adopter will be required to neuter Bouncer prior to 7 mos of age. ATRRi will cover cost of neuter for San Diego County adopter if done in San Diego at a facility of ATRRi's choice. Ash Tree Ranch Rescue does consider out of area adoption applications. Bouncer is currently in Southern California but transport to Nor Cal, OR or WA is included in adoption fee. Transport to other states and Canada can be arranged at adopter's expense.

Story
❣️Attention Tripod Lovers❣️ Romeo is one lucky dog! He was hit by a car and severely injured in Mexico City and a Good Samaritan not only covered his medical bills but she flew with him to San Diego so he could have a better chance of a good life. He's completely recovered although one hind leg had to be amputated. Not only did that not stop him from enjoying life; it didn't even slow him down! Romeo is the most loyal Belgian Malinois you will find; he is dog and people friendly and doesn’t show any signs of his past life. Not only that, he has wonderful house manners as he is crate and potty trained. We’d love him to find a forever home where he can be loved the way he deserves. At 2 years 3 months old, Romeo is playful, happy and so full of love to give. He is good on the leash and enjoys a nice car ride. He is vetted, neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. We are looking for a home that has a nice fenced in yard so he can run and play. It's preferred that his future parents work from home or be retired. No cats in the home please. If interested please go to www.k9connectionpetadoption.org and fill out the adoption application for him or call Vicky @760-672-2258. We are 501(c)3 rescue so a tax deductible adoption fee applies.
