Story
Ollie | German Shepard | 9-Years-Old | Male | Approx. 70 lbs., should be 75-80 lbs. Ollie came to Lily’s as an owner surrender from Oakland. His most recent owner got him 6 months ago when a neighbor abandoned him, but could no longer care for him. Ollie is a classic German Shepard, intelligent and loyal. Sadly, sweet Ollie has been neglected in his previous home/s and needs lots of TLC to get back to a healthier weight. Luckily, Ollie is very food motivated, making weight gain and training much easier! He’s a very sweet gentleman, looking for a forever home to call his own.

Story
Bambi| German Shepherd | 7-Years-Old | Spayed Female | Approx. 50 lbs. If you're looking for a gentle, loving companion to cuddle up with and share your quiet moments, look no further than Bambi! This sweet, easygoing girl is as affectionate as they come, and she’s sure to steal your heart with her calm demeanor and loving nature. Bambi came to us as an owner surrender from Silicon Valley, marked as “unwanted.” We’re not sure how you could part with this love. Bambi is the perfect balance of fun and relaxation – playtime when you’re up for it, and total relaxation when you’re ready to unwind. While she loves to play a short game of fetch, Bambi is more of a “couch potato” at heart. She’s happiest being near people, soaking in all the love and attention she can get. Ear rubs and booty scratches are her absolute favorites, and if you’re lucky, she’ll let you hold her like a baby while she snuggles in close. Bambi is the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal, sweet dog who loves to relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

Story
This heartwarming story about Goose, the adorable boy seeking a loving family, truly tugs at the heartstrings. Goose’s journey from a challenging start to blossoming into a loving and gentle dog is remarkable. Goose’s Background: Age: Goose came to us when he was just 3 months old. Previous Experience: Unfortunately, his previous owner left him in a crate for 20 hours a day, resulting in limited exposure to the outside world. Reactivity: As a consequence, Goose developed some reactivity to people. Transformation: However, within just a week of structured training, Goose began to thrive. His loving and gentle nature emerged, and he quickly bonded with his caregivers. Skills: Goose has acquired several valuable skills: Leash Manners: He knows how to walk politely on a leash. Crate Trained: He is comfortable in a crate. Car Riding: He behaves well when riding in a car while crated. Potty Training: Goose is mostly potty trained. Basic Training: He has a foundation in basic commands. What Goose Needs: Confident Owner: Goose would thrive with a confident owner who continues to work on his training and helps him explore new experiences. Love and Care: He deserves a family that will shower him with love and provide a safe, nurturing environment. If you’re interested in welcoming this handsome boy into your home, please reach out to Caitlin at 707-490-8869.
