Recently adopted on 8/9/2025 from OC Animal Care. Milo is a 5-year old German Shepherd. He is 85 pounds and just wants attention and love! Milo loves going on walks (3-4x per day) and looooves running around open fields with his two favorite toys: squeaky balls and the flirt pole. Milo is potty trained and crate trained. We suspect Milo had a traumatic past before we adopted him, as evidenced by gnawed down teeth + fly strike ears… which is perhaps why he is reactive to other dogs and people who come near us. Milo is not reactive to us at all though. We’ve hired 3 trainers for Milo’s reactivity and have seen improvement, but there is quite a bit more to work through. Unfortunately, we are looking to rehome our sweet boy because we are (unexpectedly) expecting and cannot risk the safety of our newborn. We love our sweet Milo so much and only want the best for him… we are seeking a family with a home & yard (no kids/pets) who can give him all the love he deserves and needs.

Dot is a very loving, active and silly dog. She loves attention, playing fetch, and all exercise. She has done well with our kids and our other dog she just has a lot of energy. She is crate trained at night. She was a rescue from a woman who saved a litter of puppies from someone selling them on the side of the road. We haven’t had any issues with Dot outside of the fact she would be better placed in a home that can give her the full attention she needs for mental and physical activity. We are constantly on the go with our kids and feel it’s not fair to her. She would make a family very happy with her love and energy.

I am leash-trained and an excellent walking partner. I am a medium-energy dog who enjoys a walking pace. In my foster home, I am calm and well-behaved, with no need for a crate. I stay off the furniture and kitchen counters, and I do not get into the trash -- wow, what a good boy I am! I just relax while my foster mom is away from the house. In the car, I am calm and quiet. I will get right in and let you buckle me up. I have been around other shelter dogs in the play yard, coexisting well. My favorite toys are high-quality, ropelike squeaky toys with minimal stuffing. I know to respect your belongings, including slippers and pillows -- I'll just play with my toys instead.
