Story
We have had Jax since he was 9 months old. Jax is a total lovebug once you get to know him. He is protective over his little sisters, my two daughters. He's not just a good boy, he's the best boy. Jax loves his squeaky toys and he absolutely loves to play fetch. He also loves running around and being his goofy self. Since March of 2025, our family has relocated three different times due to finances. Because of this, his typical day has consisted of going out for several potty breaks a day then coming back inside our small home without a backyard or very much space inside our home. Jax loves to play with other dogs within the house. Jax needs a home with a yard, please. This is not an easy decision for my family, we just know that he deserves to run outside, play fetch, and bark when he wants to.

Story
We got Layla back in 2020 had her until 2024 give her up to a new home but they let her run off we got the call from the pound and picked her up beginning of this year. We love her and she’s a wonderful pet but our schedules are so busy she’s not living pet life. Sadly she’s inside a lot due to us not being home so she didn’t get to enjoy running around as a pet should. We want to find her a happy loving home where she can be happy to enjoy pet life.

Story
My wife,Judith, and I adopted Nala, a two year old female German Shepherd, from a student at ASU in July of 2020. She has been a wonderful dog: smart, responsive, loving and energetic. She is very reactive with other dogs and wary of people she does not know. But she usually warms to new people within a few minutes and often becomes a friend for life. Judith died last July and I am not able to continue taking care of Nala. It will be hard to give her up but I want to be certain she will go to someone who will give her a good home and the love that she deserves. Judith was completely bonded with Nala and it is important to me that Nala have that with another person. We live in the city but have a large fenced yard with trees and shrubs where Nala spends most of her time. Of course she is allowed in the house whenever she wants but you will usually find her outdoors, chasing the mourning doves and lizards and lying around on her many beds. Nala seems especially drawn to women.

Story
Osa is a beautiful 5-year-old girl who’s ready for a fresh start after being owner surrendered. She’s wonderful with children and has a loving, devoted personality that makes her a joy to have around. Osa is not a fan of cats and her history with other dogs is unknown, so slow introductions would be best. This smart lady even understands Spanish, adding an extra special touch to her already charming personality! Osa is ready to bring loyalty, love, and a little bilingual brilliance to her forever home.

Story
Walter is an approximately 12-year-old Belgian Malinois looking for a loving home. Walter is a sweet, goofy dog who still loves to play. His favorite games are chasing a ball and tug-of-war. He's an indoor dog who enjoys going outside with his humans. Walter really likes his naps. He enjoys long walks and does well following along off-leash in quiet, rural areas like washes. He has lived with other dogs, cats, and children and has gotten along well with all of them. He has mild arthritis in his hind legs, but he still enjoys being active and mobile. Walter would do best with someone who has time to spend with him. He loves being near his people and will happily follow you around as you go about your day. He makes loving eye contact while getting his pets, and he's very affectionate. He’d make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal, affectionate friend in his golden years.

Story
Kiara is very energetic and LOVES to play. She was rescued from an abusive home when she was 4mo old in 2024 and has been living with me ever since. I put her through 8 weeks of obedience training classes when I first got her, and from that she learned the commands sit and down. Unfortunately, because of my busy schedule I was not able to keep up with the other training from the course, so she does have some behavior issues like jumping on people when she first meets them. She is house trained, kennel trained, and she knows how to use a dog door. Kiara needs a lot of attention to keep her busy and entertained. I am away for work 10-12 hours a day and I'm not able to devote the time to her that she deserves. Right now she spends every work day in her kennel because she will get into mischief when she's bored. I'm looking for a loving, active home that can devote time to train and take her on daily walks and adventures. She is very sweet and deserves the best home I can find.
