Story
Maggie is an adorable black‑and‑white shepherd mix with almost 60 pounds of pure sweetness packed into her wiggly frame. This girly is all heart: affectionate, food‑motivated, and always ready to shower her people with love. She’s an alert companion who thrives when she’s part of the action. If your idea of a perfect day includes hikes, outdoor adventures, or just plenty of playtime, she will be right there with you, tail wagging and eyes bright. Maggie can be dog‑selective, so she’ll do best as the only pup or with slow, thoughtful introductions to canine friends. Because of her size and enthusiastic energy, she’s looking for a home with children 13 and up who can enjoy her playful spirit. If you’re searching for a loyal, lively partner who will adore you endlessly and keep life fun, Maggie might just be your perfect match. She’s ready to meet her forever family and start her next big adventure. My adoption fee is $350 and includes the following: -Spay/neuter surgery -All current vaccinations -Microchip -FREE wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals -$25 gift voucher from our friends at My Pet Market

Story
Griswold has come a long way from being a scared dog trembling from fear in the kennel at the local shelter not wanting to take even one step to being an outgoing, exuberant and friendly guy whose tail never goes down anymore. It took two weeks for him to wag his tail for the first time. We don't know what happened in his past; but we know it is behind him and his present and future are bright. He gets along great with other dogs and currently lives with a crazy Huskie-mix and a blind senior Shar Pei (all boys). However, Grizz much prefers human interaction over playing with dogs (even at his once-a-week doggie daycare outing he mainly follows the human attendant around while ignoring the dogs). Grizzy is a loyal companion who will follow you everywhere, but without being needy for affection. He just wants to be where you are. When you are going potty, he will sit next to you, LOL. Grizzy has a wonderful brindle coat and is on daily fish oil to keep it that way. It is easy to bath him, however, Grizzy is a dog that does not smell at all (very unusual). He is of robust health, has great teeth and likes being active. His perfect new home would offer him daily exercise (more than just a walk). He enjoys hikes, he can go jogging with you when it is not too hot and he has ample water, of course. Grizzy is like a huge puppy; a bit of a bull in a China shop (no small kids as he may accidentally run into them or knock them over jumping up). When he runs, his legs seem to be flying in all kinds of directions .. hilarious to watch. He gets super excited for walks, car rides, and feeding time. He is crate, muzzle, and doggie door trained. He has been on a business trip to New Mexico with his human and stayed crated in the hotel room without any problems. When bored and left alone for too long, he has been known to chew a shoe or two. His foster mom thinks of him as the perfect guy's dog that will go everywhere with his human as well as frequent adventures. We have his DNA and his predominant breed is German Shepherd with Australian Cattle Dog, and Husky. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and micro chipped. Griswold's adoption fee is $400. Story
Logan is a 3-year-old pup who came to us from MCACC where he was e-listed for being too scared and shut down to even be taken out on leash. Thankfully, with the help of shelter staff and volunteers, we were able to gain Logan’s trust and he made it to safety. He still has moments of uncertainty and will benefit from continued socialization, but he warming up quickly in the foster home where he spent the first couple months with us. Logan is sadly now in boarding and needs a new foster home urgently so he doesn't deteriorate again with fear and lose the progress he had made!  While with his foster, Logan settled in quickly and enjoyed life as part of the pack. He’s playful, affectionate, and always eager to be near his people — sometimes a little too eager, as he is still learning about personal space! This affectionate guy loves attention and has been known to gently paw or whine when he’s hoping for more cuddles. He’s high energy and does great in an environment where he can play, run, and stay engaged. Logan was working on his manners still — like counter surfing, leash pulling, and marking — but he’s been responsive to verbal correction and treat redirection, and learns quickly with consistency. He does well in a crate, plays nicely with both small and large dogs, and genuinely just wants to be loved and involved in everything you’re doing. He may be shy and scared at first, but don't let him fool you - he truly want to get to know you and be a good boy! Logan would do great in an active household — whether it’s a home with other playful pups, or anyone who’s ready for his energy and a lot of love. Logan is still learning just how big he is, so only older kids with awareness of his “happy feet” would be recommended. He has not been tested with cats. Logan is hesitant to get into cars, but once seated inside, he is a great passenger. Logan is excited for someone who will love his big heart, his big energy, and his big personality. https://azhuskyrescue.com/adoption-application/

Story
Meet Delphine, a young shepherd looking for a home to call her own. Delphine recently joined us from our partners at Pinal County where she was continuously being overlooked. We aren't sure how as she is sweet and fun as can be! Delphine is extremely sweet and friendly with new people and absolutely adores any attention or affection. Delphine is working on her leash skills and is a quick learner - she will be a leash walking pro in no time! She thrives with handlers that build her confidence and give positive encouragement to give her reassurance that she's a good girl. Delphine has been described as "weak tea - she can get along with any dog," - with proper introductions of course. This girl deserves a chance to a happily ever after - don't keep her waiting!

Story
I met Onyx in January of this year. I had my front and back doors open one morning while was cleaning. He walked right in. I had never seen him before. My neighbor let me know that he saw him early that morning and looked like someone in a car was trying to pick him up or drop him off. I kept him while looking for a home for him but after a few more months of getting to know him I ended up keeping him. Me and my kids love Onyx. I’m looking for someone to foster (not adopt) Onyx for 1 year. If you’re in a position for foster a dog, please reach out.
