Story
Drake is a 1 and 1/2-year-old and we believe to be a German Shepherd and Cattle dog mix. He is nervous around new people, and we do not recommend he goes to a home with children under 10. Drake is very dominant and would do best in a household where he is the only furry family member. He rides well in the car, is mostly house trained and is very sweet once he gets comfortable with his surroundings. He is very playful and affectionate once he opens up to you. He can be protective, so we would recommend training him on. He loves to play with his toys and play fetch too. He is a really cool dog; he just really needs an owner that is familiar with the cattle dog breed and can work with him. We believe with some good guidance and affection he will make a great companion. He is smart and willing to learn. He does know some basic commands. Come down and see if he's the perfect fit for you. Adoption fee is $75.

Story
This is Miss Loona who is a super sweet but somewhat shy German Shepherd mix. Loona is 6 years old and just wants someone who can give her the love she really needs. She seems to prefer a quieter home so she can relax and just be a normal dog. She also came in with another dog so we believe she will do fine with a playmate, but proper introduction should be done to make sure. Meet the beautiful Loona and fall in love. Her adoption fee is $100.

Story
2yr old Shepherd mix, un-neutered male, UTD on shots, approx 70-80lbs. He was abandoned by his owner. He knows basic training and learning more, working on house manners. Has been around children and other animals and been good. Gets along with other dogs. He's a very happy boy and LOVES attention, very excitable so will need training if around little kids. He needs a loving home to show him love and structure. Very smart and eager to please. He has been outside most his life, due to how he was left he's been outside mostly (no fault of his own). Looking for a forever home with someone who wants to make him part of their family and willing to take the time for him he needs/deserves.

Story
Hello hello! My name is Ellie! I hope you are looking for an adventurous girl, because you are looking in the right spot! I get so excited when I see my favorite people, I tend to try to jump on you and give you a big ol' hug! I do have one request: you must have LOTS of toys! I am a huge toy advocate, I love them so much! Playing ball and playing with squeaky toys are my absolute favorite! I will only give back my toys if you have more to give me, it is an even trade after all! I am a bit cautious with people I do not know, so give me time to warm up to you and maybe play ball with me and we will be best friends in no time!I love treats too, and I know how to "sit", "shake", and "high-five" for them too! I am a bit chompy when taking them so I would do best in a home with older children so I don't nip any little fingers in my quest for treats! I listen well to corrections but sometimes I just want to go explore the new area or the outdoor world so I may end of taking you with me! I am fairly good on walks but I would need your help in learning to be a pro. I absolutely love belly rubs too, did I forget to tell you that? I would require a home with no cats, but if you have any dogs at home please bring them by for a proper dog introduction! I hope you will come by and see me!If you think Ellie would be an awesome addition, please contact HSWM to learn more about her!

Story
Let us introduce you to Forrest. He has grown so much during the time he has spent here and is willing to learn more. He came in as a stray, very scared and very defensive. He has been through a lot before he was brought into our care and it has taken awhile to see the sweet side of Forrest. However, with all the love, training, and work our staff has put into him, he has made a huge turn around. Even though progress was made, there would have to be multiple meet and greets and a possible home study. Forrest has a lot of walls and he needs multiple slow introductions and time to build a trust to break them down. The best way to do so is an abundance of treats, patience, and love. Treats will be the easiest way to build that connection with Forrest. Another thing we noticed about Forrest is that he loves being read to. On our staff's free time, they will often read stories to calm him down, get use to their presence, and voice. After all of the love he has received here, Forrest has really shown us his sweet, loving, and even playful side and that he is ready for a new era. He is searching for a forever home that will spoil him with patience, love, understanding, and kindness. Let's find out if you and Forrest are a match made in heaven because he is looking for his angel. **ONLY ANIMAL****Slow Introduction****Possible Home Study**
