Story
My dog is a 10 year old shepherd mix. I rescued her from a truck stop in Nevada about 9 years ago when her owner abandoned her at the truck stop. She is a very loving dog. She has never showed any aggression. She is a happy go lucky dog. She has grown up with babies and children. She is very good with children of all ages. She has grown up with other dogs as well and gets along with other dogs. She has never been around cats so I’m not sure how she will do with cats. She just had a vet appointment a month ago and she is in good health. She is up to date on all her vaccines. She is spayed and microchipped and her micro chip can be transferred to new owner.

Meet Gia the gorgeous shepherd! There is a whole lot of love in her 50-lb body. Gia is a happy, wiggly girl who loves to play with toys and give hugs and kisses. She is guessed to be around 3 y/o but acts like a big ol’ puppy. She is very friendly meeting people of all ages and adores attention. Gia must be the only pet in the household. We are also working with Gia on her leash manners. She is a smart girl and we know she’ll catch on quickly. Gia is looking for an active family who will train her and love her for the rest of her years. Gia’s adoption fee of $350 helps offset the cost of medical expenses, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, and microchip. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think she could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application*: helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application  *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Story
**** Courtesy Post:   Hi, I’m Ginny, I am a female, German Shepard Dog who is approximately 6 months old and I weigh 43 pounds. I’m a sweet, playful, and loving girl who’s full of energy and cuddles. As soon as you walk in the door, I’ll be there to greet you and let you know how unacceptable it was to go somewhere without me!   I’m potty trained (yay me!) and know how to sit and bring your shoes to you (mostly when you don't ask for them!). I keep up with my foster siblings during playtime and let them know I’m always ready for some fun. I love checking out the cats, but keep my distance because I don't think they are ready to play just yet.   Car rides? I’m not a huge fan. Walks on a leash? I’m still getting the hang of it! I’m learning my basic commands, but I’m a quick study. Most of all, I just love being around my humans—there’s nowhere I’d rather be.   Looking for a cuddly, playful, and spunky sidekick? I’m your girl!     Ginny  is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee of $250 helps offset medical fees. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think Ginny could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application at:               https://www.helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application/ .      *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the finder of Ginny for review and follow-up. December 10, 2024, 8:05 pm
