She wants to be your loyal companion.  Betty does need a home with a yard.  Betty has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee of $350 helps offset the cost of medical expenses. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think Betty could be the right fit for you, please complete an application* at: https://www.helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application/ .     * Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Story
Meet Gia the gorgeous shepherd! There is a whole lot of love in her 50-lb body. Gia is a happy, wiggly girl who loves to play with toys and give hugs and kisses. She is guessed to be around 3 y/o but acts like a big ol’ puppy. She is very friendly meeting people of all ages and adores attention. Gia must be the only pet in the household. We are also working with Gia on her leash manners. She is a smart girl and we know she’ll catch on quickly. Gia is looking for an active family who will train her and love her for the rest of her years. Gia’s adoption fee of $350 helps offset the cost of medical expenses, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, and microchip. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think she could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application*: helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application  *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Story
**** Courtesy Post:    Ginny is a 1 year old German Shepard found as a stray, very terrified of her surroundings. She is starting to regain her puppy nature with the help of a couple of other foster puppies. She is potty trained but hasn't shown any knowledge yet of basic commands. She is curious about other dogs and cats, and is learning that they are friends. She is a good girl with kids that are gentle. Untested with ages younger than 5. Would do great in a home with lower levels of activity to start with that can encourage her activity level slowly. As a working breed, she will need daily exercise and training.   Ginny  is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee of $250 helps offset medical fees. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think Ginny could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application at:               https://www.helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application/ .      *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the finder of Ginny for review and follow-up. November 19, 2024, 1:10 pm

Story
Rogue stumbled in to a friend's house in the middle of the night as a puppy. We tried to find an owner but no luck. We have kept her as our own and taken care of her for the past year but we really believe she should be with a family that has more time and energy to focus on her and hopefully other dogs for her to play with. She is very smart and has been through some training classes, but she can still be nervous around some adults until she gets comfortable. She loves to run fast, play fetch, and go to the dog park. She has lots of toys from bark box that would be coming with her!

Story
Meet Kai: Your New Best Friend! Kai is a large, loving German Shepherd who gets along well with female dogs and is great with kids, though he’s best suited for a home with older children. Kai’s Journey: Found in a cornfield by family members, we discovered Kai was microchipped. His original owners no longer wanted him, so we took him in. We planned to move to a 2-acre lot, perfect for Kai, but those plans fell through. Now, with a new addition to our family and increased job responsibilities, we can’t give Kai the attention he deserves. Kai’s Ideal Home: A home with at least an acre of land or an active person for regular runs or hikes. Someone with experience handling large dogs. A family that can provide the love and attention he needs. This decision is very difficult for us, so we will be selective in choosing Kai’s new home. If you think you can provide the perfect environment for Kai, please reach out.

Story
Ginger Snap is a loving and loyal dog. She was born on Christmas day last year and has been a part of our family since March 2024. I am being relocated to a new state, and my new place of residence does not allow pets. I am having to relocate by December 1st, 2024. Ginger is fixed and microchipped and is up to date on all of her shots. She needs to have access to a large yard as she is active by the nature of her breed. She is well suited for a person who has no pets. She likes to go for walks on her leash and is very playful. We hate to have to giver her up, but my employer is having me move by 12/1/2024.
