Story
Are we about to be best friends? My name is Brienne! I’m a dreamy pupper and I have a smile so bright you'll need sunglasses! My caregivers do not know much about my past, because I was found wandering with Arya, Podrick, and Tyrion. I’m ready for endless adventures, playtime, and naps in my very own bed. Maybe I should tell you a bit about myself first! I'm a little shy with new people and new things, so please be patient with me. Do I sound like your new best friend? Come by High Country Humane to meet me! Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (FREE!) and provide a free health exam with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5 each. The shelter is open 11-5 PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you!

`Meet Sweet and Striking Samantha - The Perfect Companion for an Active Home!`Hi there, my name is Samantha and I am a 4-year-old female dog weighing 88 pounds. I am a gorgeous German Shepherd mix with a pretty appearance. I was surrendered to the shelter because my owner could no longer care for me, but I am still hoping to find a loving forever home.I may be a bit on the heavier side, but don`t let that fool you - I am an active and laid back girl who loves going for walks with my people. I can be strong on the leash when I want to go somewhere, but with some training and an active lifestyle, I am sure to lose some weight and feel good again. My special traits include being incredibly sweet and affectionate. I am a constant companion and will be by your side through thick and thin. I may be a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, I am loyal and protective of my people. I am clever, friendly, and independent, with a quirky personality that is sure to make you smile. I am also potty-trained, so that`s one less thing you have to worry about!I am looking for an active home with adults who can help me shed some pounds and get back in shape. I prefer to be the only dog in the home, as I like to have all the attention for myself. But trust me, I have enough love and loyalty to make up for it!If you are interested in meeting me, please come to the shelter and ask for Samantha. I can`t wait to meet my forever family and start our happily ever after. Let`s make each other`s life complete!I am fixed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and ready to go home with you, so please come visit me!Please call between 10am-4pm to schedule an appointment to meet one of our animals! 928-282-4679.

Story
Hello, my name is Frank, and let`s be frank: I am the best boy! I am 2 years old and just as handsome as can be! I stand tall and proud like the astute fella I plan to become. I think it is called manifesting my destiny - which I hope will be with you! I am an active and regal dog. I am also a pretty chill guy once I get my exercise. I love to play fetch with a tennis ball, and if you like to hike or walk, I`m your guy! I can also see me at the river or lake with you, and being your BFF. My breed is a bit of a mystery, but these adorable ears and long legs I could have some lab in me, along with Shepard. I am smart and ready to listen, learn, play, or just curl up and hang out. Between my personality and my looks, I have made many friends and now just need the right person or family to adopt me. Socome by the shelter and let`s hang... my vibe is pretty great.I am fixed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and ready to go home with you, so please come visit me!Please call between 10am-4pm to schedule an appointment to meet one of our animals! 928-282-4679.

Story
Roxy is a sweet and very playful 1.7 year old spayed female Doberman/Shepherd Mix, she has a Shepherd coloring, but very much a Doberman body and mentality. She has a lot of energy, loves to run and especially loves to play with other dogs that can keep up with her. She should ideally have another dog in her family and a large yard or farm area to run through. We adopted her about 5 months ago to have a companion for our other dog, they get along well outside of the age difference, but we have not been able to get Roxy out of her prey drive when it comes to cats. She absolutely cannot be around cats or small animals in any way without further training. She does very well with our niece and nephew who are 9 and 12, but we have not seen her around babies or toddlers. We do not require an adoption fee, but we would like to know about her future home. Roxy will come with a Kennel and her bed, as well as her favorite toys, and a sweater since she get cold in the winter.
