Story
Comet is a high-energy dynamo who`s ready to take on the world! He thrives on activity and would love a home that can keep up with his activity level. He’s still learning his manners and would benefit from someone who will train him. He`s a bit pushy and dominant with the other dogs. We feel he would do best as your only dog. If you’re looking for an adventurous partner and have the patience to guide Comet into being his best self, he might just be the perfect match for you! Please ask to meet him outside.

Story
Loki is a 4 yr old pure bred male German Shepherd (Have papers) and is intact. He is around 80#s and is healthy and generally happy. He is a cuddler with the right people. He is housebroken and has new damaged anything that wasn;t one of his toys.I acquired him from a breeder at 20 months old. He was returned by his original owner. He has always been quirky and we suspect that he was abused. He seems to take to women more quickly than men. He has an aversion to men with beards. He does not get along with other pets. He takes time to warm up to strangers. He has never bitten any person or animal. When frightened or surprised he does growl, show his teeth and posture, He has frightened several of my family members. For this reason alone I would like to re-home him. The perfect home will have room outside to play and a new master that can handle a dog like this.

Story
Hi my name is Jax and I came to Forgotten Angels from our county pound and was found as a stray. I am a good boy who is chill but can be active at times and for the most part have pretty good manners. I am crate trained, get along well with other dogs and would probably do okay with a cat with a proper introduction and some training. I would love a family who could take me out on regular walks and cuddle up with me on the couch while watching a movie. I know how to use a doggie door and I am house trained, if you are my forever family please reach out for a meet n greet or if you can foster me until I find my ideal family that would be great. Please text or call 480-225-5495 if you think I am the right fit for you.

Story
Meet Spencer! This sweet 2 1/2 yr old boy is ready for his forever home! Spencer has a shy personality at first, but give him just a few minutes and he will give you his trust. He loves to run and play in the yard and especially loves to lay in the kiddie pool! Spencer enjoyed trips to the river with his previous family. Spencer's ideal home would be somewhat quiet with a smaller family to fit his personality best. Kids 10 and up due to his shyness. He is good with other medium to large sized dogs, male and female. Not sure about cats. He is house trained, crate trained and uses a doggy door, loves car rides and pup cups! Neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Please reach out to Paula at Valley Dogs Rescue with any questions or to schedule a meet and greet. spwheels1@gmail.com

Story
Bella is a large German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix who would love to be your lapdog. She loves her walks and does great on the leash. She is patient with kids who like to play with, hug and lay on her. Bella wants to be friends with our cat, but he is just a grumpy old man and not interested in playing. She has a hard time when new people come to the house and will need some training to correct that behavior. Due to her breeds she also needs a lot of exercise to wear her out. She is a sweet dog but with two young kids and busy schedules, we don’t have the time to devote to keeping up with training her.

Story
Gilly is finally ready for her new home! She is a little strong willed but she is very smart. She was picked up as a stray so we don't have any background information on her. She is probably around 3 to 4 years old. She likes to be the boss of the other dogs so she would do best if we found her a home where she is the only dog or with a submissive male. She has been very playful with the boys we have had her with but rough so she might be too much for smaller dogs. She would do best with an owner who has experience with big dogs and some training. Story
Hey there, it’s me, Rowan! I’m the 4-year-old German Shepherd with the endearing floppy ear, and I’m broadcasting a special message just for you. I’m currently hanging out at Central Arizona Animal Rescue, eagerly awaiting the day I can trot into my new forever home. I’ve had quite the journey, found as a stray with my pal Chief, and after a long wait at animal control, it seems my previous owners are not coming back. But that’s alright because it means I get the chance to meet you! I’m super friendly, love a good game, and when it comes to treats, I’m trying to gentle but treats are awesome and I get excited for them. My floppy ear? It’s not just for show; it’s a symbol of my unique personality and the stories I can’t wait to share with you. I’ve been given a clean bill of health, with all my vaccinations up to date, I’m neutered, and I’ve got a microchip so I’ll never get lost again. I’m on the lookout for a family that enjoys fun and games as much as I do. And if you’ve got a spare spot on the couch, I’d love to fill it with my cozy presence. So, if you’re ready for a loyal friend with a touch of whimsy, let’s meet! You can e-mail Central Arizona Animal Rescue at mike@CAARonline.org to set up an appointment. If you are unable to adopt me, please share my video to help me find my forever home. I can’t wait to meet you! Story
I came in as a stray so the shelter staff doesn`t know about my past. I can be a little timid at first but I warm up quickly. Since I`m nervous with new people it`s best if I meet all family members before adpotion. Some of my favorite things to do while at the shelter include running around and playing with Link. I also enjoy chasing balls and chew toys. I give gentle kisses once I get to know you.I`m dog selective, I came in with Link and I like him very much. I`m nervous with other dogs and could possibly live with another calm dog. If you have another dog a meet and greet with your dog is required befor adoption. Please ask to meet me outside.
