To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Meet Zoey, a sweet and spunky little Frenchie with a calm and mellow demeanor for her breed. Zoey is quiet, only barking at delivery trucks or unfamiliar visitors. She’s both house-trained and crate-trained, and she sleeps peacefully through the night. While she’s content in her own bed, she would love to snuggle up with you if you’re open to it. Zoey enjoys going on walks, and her foster mom is helping her get in shape to shed a few extra pounds. She gets along with other dogs, after slow introductions. But she may be dog selective at times. She previously lived with a male Frenchie and would likely do well with a playmate. She does not do well with cats and her interest in chasing bunnies suggests she might have a prey drive. She would be better in a home with no kids or older kids as she seems to not do well with the younger ones. Zoey is a very good girl who adores cuddles once she gets to know you.

Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Little Miss Peebles is a sweet and spirited young lady who, despite her challenges, radiates love and curiosity. She is approximately 3 years old and weighs a petite 17 pounds. Found as a stray and taken to a local shelter, she was discovered cuddling happily with her kennel-mate, showing her friendly nature towards other dogs. Even though she must be in considerable pain, Little Miss Peebles is full of energy and affection. She rode home nicely in the car and eagerly explored the park during a potty break. Her first afternoon at her foster home was spent exploring every nook and cranny and enthusiastically chewing on toys. She has a hearty appetite, having inhaled a large lunch and even managed to sneak some of her resident dog brother's dinner. After her adventures, she loves to cuddle and take naps with her foster mom. Little Miss Peebles needs some work on potty training and using the dog door. Besides her ears, she has some skin conditions that need attention and will need to be spayed. She has a long road ahead until she is medically cleared. During this time, she will be evaluated for compatibility with kids and other dogs. We'll also work on getting some weight on her and assessing her training needs.

To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Hello! My name is Jessica, but you can call me GiGi. I'm a French bulldog mix looking for a loving snuggle partner or family. Although I'm an older lady, I'm thankful to be healthy! My favorite activities include keeping track of meal schedules, taking solid naps after walks, playing with my foster family (four-legged and two-legged members), cuddling, and alerting my family to visitors. I get along well with other small dogs, cats, and people, though I need slow and ongoing introductions to give me time to adjust. Once I settled into my foster family home with Hondo (french bulldog), Moxie & Uwiji (cats), we melded into a strong pack. We keep the humans company in the yard, take potty breaks, and spend evenings on the couch together. My daily routine includes regular walks, playtime, and scheduled meals. My ideal furever home is a calm environment with someone experienced with keeping bulldogs in check, especially around strangers. I have a bit of a weakness for food, I must admit. If not watched, I'd quickly eat everything in sight, then ask for more! But who can blame me?! Food is just so delicious! I'm working on keeping my figure in line, so a portion control plan is a must.

To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Welcome Luna Star (aka Luney)! Luna is full of SPUNK! We have two speeds, running and sleeping. Luna would prefer to be always touching you. Should you sit down, your lap is the only place she wants to be. Luna does well in her kennel, going potty outside and has barked one time in a week. She is working on her manners (foster mom would prefer she didn't get up on the dining room table or steal stuffed pumpkins meant for decoration) but she wants to please her people and is learning quickly. Luna does great with kids and will be tested with dogs and cats soon. She does have a desire to chase, so Luna's new family will need to commit to having her on a leash when outside. We see the vet this week to figure out what she needs to become the best Luna she can be!

Story
Meet Rosa Bonheur! Rosa is such a sweet and playful girl, she loves getting attention and loves chasing balls and playing with squeaky toys. She is friendly with everyone she meets including people and other dogs. She eats and sleeps in her crate and has no problem being left in her crate during the day when her foster needs to leave the house. She has learned how to go up and down stairs as well as go on walks in her foster home. Shes doing very well in house training when kept on a schedule of going outside first thing in the morning, after meals or naps and after being in her crate for awhile and last thing at night. Rosa is very quiet, hardly ever barks or whines, but she does make cute snorty noises and quite often snores when sleeping. Shes low to moderate energy and enjoys cuddles on the couch with her people or nearby in a doggy bed. Rosa is an easy going, happy, playful girl and will be a great companion. ADOPTION DONATION: $1,500.00. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs. All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar. Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of supplies for your new pup! Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Introducing Jazzy! She is a 7-month-old, 12lb French Bulldog puppy who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. She is a super sweet and spunky girl! Jazzy is the life of the party and has a big personality ~ there is never a dull moment with her around. She does great with other dogs and would be an awesome additional dog to a home or be fine as an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention which she so deserves. She has a lot of energy and a lot of love to give so we are looking for a home that can keep up with her and provide her with the care and attention she needs. Due to her energetic and bouncy nature, we are looking for an adult only home or home with older children. We are looking for a flat-faced breed experienced household. She is going to make an awesome and incredibly fun addition to any lucky household that adopts her. Jazzy is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $800.

Story
Alaska is a little girl who came running to the shelter to hide, we assume she was scared after being run over. At first glance we saw that she had a fracture in her hind leg, her first visit to the vet was to prepare her for an amputation, since her leg was beyond repair. After her recovery, she began to prepare to find her new home, currently she already has her vaccinations up to date, she is spayed and ready. She is a very pampered dog, like a big girl, waiting for love, affection and lots of cuddles, she likes to go for walks, eager to see new places, always happy, following you everywhere. She is very curious, elated to see you, and such an adorable, smart little girl. The fact that she is missing her leg does not stop her, she runs, plays and can even jump, she has adapted quite well to her new life. She is still a puppy, she will barely be a year old, she will not grow any more, she is medium, around 28 pounds. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.

Story
Louie is an adorable 2-year-old French Bulldog with a heart full of love to share. This little guy absolutely adores other dogs and thrives in their company, though his enthusiasm can sometimes make him a bit of a pest. Despite his eagerness, Louie is non-aggressive and remains calm and unbothered, even when other dogs growl at him. Louie is crate trained and sleeps soundly in his kennel but would much rather roam freely around the house, soaking up the companionship of his people. While he’s still mastering his potty training, Louie is a quick learner and will benefit from a patient and consistent adopter to help him succeed. Traveling with Louie is a breeze—he happily loads up in the car and rides calmly in his kennel. However, his leash skills need a little fine-tuning, so he’s looking for someone who can help him perfect his walking manners. This affectionate pup is a true snuggle bug who loves belly rubs and quality cuddle time with his family. His sweet and loving personality makes him an ideal companion for anyone looking for a loyal and devoted friend. Louie is currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, and is only available for adoption in central Texas. If you’re ready to welcome this charming Frenchie into your home and heart, Louie is eager to meet you and start his new adventure as part of your family.

Story
Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Hi, my name is Emerald and I'm 47 lbs. of cuddly sweetness once I know I can trust you. I'm a 4-year-old EB mix and my foster mom calls me "sweet girl". I'm crate trained but would rather spend my time with my humans rather than be in my crate too often. I'm completely potty trained and haven't had an accident yet. However, if I get really stressed out, such as a trip to the doggy Dr, I stress poo and need to go RIGHT NOW, but you'll know I'm stressed before it happens!! I spent a lot of time in my crate in my last home, so I haven't been socialized and am learning how to interact with strangers and other animals. I also wasn't leash trained, but my foster mom got me a snazzy new harness and we go on walks every day. I am still very scared and reactive to all of the new sounds and people/animals in the world, so my foster mom has been teaching me how to "leave it and sit." When I get overwhelmed while we're out and about, this prompts me to sit down for a treat (she keeps a stash in her pocket) and this distracts me from what spooked me. I'm very sensitive to "stranger danger" and fear strangers, so I need slow introductions in a safe space, but the people I've met so far have won me over eventually (treats are a good icebreaker). However, I do get very protective of my home and human, so when someone comes to the door, I let them know I'm the great protector of this home. I have some skin issues that my foster mom is helping me with, but they won't stop me from becoming adoptable! I'm very good at bath time and play statue until I'm told it's ok to jump out. As is normal for a bulldog, I will need a limited diet and regular maintenance to keep my skin allergies under control, other than that, I'm recently spayed and healthy! I am so eager to please you once I know I can trust you, and I get hurt feelings and pout when my foster mom scolds me. I love to wiggle my butt and cuddle, I LOVE to play with my toys and chew my bones, and I like to stick my nose into everything my foster mom is doing in case she needs my assistance. I will do best in a child-free home as I get stressed out with the little ones. I will do best as the only animal and queen of my castle so hopefully you don't have any dogs or cats. My foster mom has gotten quite smitten with me; she tells me how smart I am and calls me "silly girl" when I get frisky with my toys and toss them around then chase them. I can entertain myself with my toys and then I'm ready for a nice long nap, preferably on the couch with you, or in my bed on the floor near you. Because I still need work with socialization and acclimating to the scary busy world around me, I would do best with someone that has dog experience and can be VERY patient with me while I blossom and continually learn to trust humans. My foster mom says I have LOTS of potential and l have sooooo much love to give to the right home. So, if you think you could be patient with me and my needs and love me unconditionally, I would be sooooo happy to meet you and find my Furever best human and home. I think I could be your best little cuddle buddy if you take a chance on me, and I'll show you how well I can toss my own toys then chase after them!

Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ SSSB ALERT!!! (Super Sweet Special Boy): Hulk is a lovebug! He is a 3-year-old, 75lb. Old English Bulldog. Don't let his unique look fool you. He is all bulldog! Allergies, skin issues. The good news? We know what he is allergic to. We even have diet suggestions that will help going forward. In the past year, Hulk has undergone two major types of surgeries. Both knees, and both eyes! Currently, Hulk has a bit of weakness in his hind legs (but don't tell him) and needs compounding eye drops for both eyes, 2x daily. Even though Hulk is super sweet, we recommend that he goes to a household that has owned a bulldog previously or has older kids. He is strong and can unknowingly knock you over. He is a happy, energetic boy, who wants to be part of it all. Mostly, ALL of your lap! He currently is living with a small dog and a dog savvy cat. He can be triggered by dogs his size or larger, slow, monitored introductions would be recommended. Good with kids - ages 10 and up suggested. He would thrive having other animals in his living situation but would also love to be the only SSSB! Do you have room for this "lapdog" in your life?

Story
Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ I'm a good girl who's had a *ruff start in life. My foster parents don't know my history because I was dumped behind a bar in Portland, OR so we're learning together. I start off shy, but that's because I had a scary past. I just need to be reassured that you're going to love me and that I can trust you, and I will be your goodest, silliest girl. I will follow you everywhere, making sure that you're safe when you are at your most vulnerable...going to the bathroom. I take that job seriously. I can't fetch you toilet paper, or a towel, but I will commiserate with you if you find yourself in those situations. That's what goodest girls do. I would love a home with a yard so that I can really get my zoomies on, but I'm good in an apartment too. I'm a pro with stairs, but that doesn't mean I like them. Just sayin'. I definitely enjoy my walks, but I'm a strong girl and will pull you so you need to reign me in sometimes. I know I need someone with some bulldog experience because I can be a bit headstrong and if you give me an inch, I'll take that mile. An active (but not overly) family with older kids so that we can go to parks, and things of that nature. I'm learning about play, so it would be a lot of fun to learn how to play with a family. I love it when my foster mom puts treats in my Kong and then makes me figure out how to get those nom noms. I am potty and crate trained. I give subtle signs, so if you miss them, I'm sorry. If you have to walk me for potty breaks, just know there needs to be a "certain vibe" going on in order for me to feel comfortable to go. It can take a bit of time, walking, and quite possibly bushes for me to go behind to discreetly do my business.
