Animal Profile: Biscuit was found wandering as a stray in So. Cal without a collar or microchip. He completed stray hold with one of our rescue partners, and made his way to Seattle on 1/26/25. Biscuit hadn’t been well cared for, and needed to be neutered and have his cherry eye repaired. Unfortunately during his exam with our vet, it was discovered that he had a Grade 5 heart murmur. Due to the severity of the grade, we opted to skip surgery and Biscuit will be medically exempt from being neutered. Meeting him, you’d never know he had a bum ticker. He’s playful, exuberant, and full of personality as Frenchies often are! Biscuit will need adopters committed to ongoing care, which may include medical management for his condition. Foster Update: Coming Soon! Medical Notes: Biscuit has a heart murmur so we were unable to do his neuter and cherry eye repair. We recommend his adopter have Biscuit evaluated with a cardiologist. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Introducing Jazzy! She is a 15-month-old, 12lb French Bulldog who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. She is a super sweet and spunky girl! Jazzy is the life of the party and has a big personality ~ there is never a dull moment with her around. She does well with other dogs and would be an awesome additional dog to a home or be fine as an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention which she so deserves. She has a lot of energy and a lot of love to give so we are looking for a home that can keep up with her and provide her with the care and attention she needs. Due to her energetic and bouncy nature, we are looking for an adult only home or home with older children. We are looking for a flat-faced breed experienced household. She will need a house with a yard, no apartment living for her. She is going to make an awesome and incredibly fun addition to any lucky household that adopts her. Alaska is a little girl who came running to the shelter to hide, we assume she was scared after being run over. At first glance we saw that she had a fracture in her hind leg, her first visit to the vet was to prepare her for an amputation, since her leg was beyond repair. After her recovery, she began to prepare to find her new home, currently she already has her vaccinations up to date, she is spayed and ready. She is a very pampered dog, like a big girl, waiting for love, affection and lots of cuddles, she likes to go for walks, eager to see new places, always happy, following you everywhere. She is very curious, elated to see you, and such an adorable, smart little girl. The fact that she is missing her leg does not stop her, she runs, plays and can even jump, she has adapted quite well to her new life. She is still a puppy, she will barely be a year old, she will not grow any more, she is medium, around 28 pounds. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. AND i have a flat face :) Now that we have THAT outta the way, lets get down to brass tacks...this is the part of my bio that explains why I have a pink wheelchair! No one knows why I am partially paralyzed, very likely a very common frenchie malady caused by crappy breeding :( But honestly, it adds so much to my charm and my strength of character ;) I am a SURVIVOR. I was at the pound, skin and bones and scared and pleading with my eyes to get out of there alive.... and a wonderful frenchie/bulldog LOVER and FOSTER MOM saw me and begged for the rescue to help me... and I hardly had to turn on the charm because the rescuer saw my face, and my foster's determination to help me and it was a done deal! Now I am healthy, I am happy, I am GREAT with other dogs and would be best with one or several other buddies. I am great with kids but due to my disability should be older kids. She is approximately 3 years old and weighs a petite 17 pounds. Found as a stray and taken to a local shelter, she was discovered cuddling happily with her kennel-mate, showing her friendly nature towards other dogs. Even though she must be in considerable pain, Little Miss Peebles is full of energy and affection. She rode home nicely in the car and eagerly explored the park during a potty break. Her first afternoon at her foster home was spent exploring every nook and cranny and enthusiastically chewing on toys. She has a hearty appetite, having inhaled a large lunch and even managed to sneak some of her resident dog brother's dinner. After her adventures, she loves to cuddle and take naps with her foster mom. Little Miss Peebles needs some work on potty training and using the dog door. Besides her ears, she has some skin conditions that need attention and will need to be spayed. She has a long road ahead until she is medically cleared. During this time, she will be evaluated for compatibility with kids and other dogs. We'll also work on getting some weight on her and assessing her training needs.

Penny was born on 12/09/22; one of the littermates was DNA tested and so presumably all littermates are 75% English Bulldog, 12.5% German Shepherd, 12.5% Rhodesian Ridgeback. As puppies, these dogs were playful and engaging. Penny was adopted as a puppy to a family who was not prepared for the tendencies of this breed combination. Without any formal training, she developed territorial behaviors in the home and on walks that ultimately led the family to return her to the rescue. Animal Profile: Tattie is a 20lb, 6-year-old female pug that found herself in need of rescue when she wound up in the Moreno Valley Shelter. We saw her profile, and knew we needed to get her out! A cage is no place to live for a pugtato. She arrives Sunday 10/20 and we are excited to meet her! We discovered Tattie is blind in one eye, but that doesn’t stop her from living her best life! Foster Update: Tattie is a sweet, sassy girl. She loves cuddles, cozy dog beds, soft squeaky toys and naps. She wants to be part of all the family activities. She is thriving with our daily routine and takes cues from other dogs. She snores rather loud but has a quiet bark that she rarely uses. She can be pretty sporty in short bursts. She doesn’t love walks and will not go potty just because she’s outside (apartment life wouldn’t be a good fit). She needs time to explore the yard. She likes soft treats but isn’t very motivated by food. She can go up the stairs but can’t go down them (we’re working on that).
