Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Introducing Jazzy! She is a 7-month-old, 12lb French Bulldog puppy who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. She is a super sweet and spunky girl! Jazzy is the life of the party and has a big personality ~ there is never a dull moment with her around. She does great with other dogs and would be an awesome additional dog to a home or be fine as an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention which she so deserves. She has a lot of energy and a lot of love to give so we are looking for a home that can keep up with her and provide her with the care and attention she needs. Due to her energetic and bouncy nature, we are looking for an adult only home or home with older children. We are looking for a flat-faced breed experienced household. She is going to make an awesome and incredibly fun addition to any lucky household that adopts her. Jazzy is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $800.

Story
Alaska is a little girl who came running to the shelter to hide, we assume she was scared after being run over. At first glance we saw that she had a fracture in her hind leg, her first visit to the vet was to prepare her for an amputation, since her leg was beyond repair. After her recovery, she began to prepare to find her new home, currently she already has her vaccinations up to date, she is spayed and ready. She is a very pampered dog, like a big girl, waiting for love, affection and lots of cuddles, she likes to go for walks, eager to see new places, always happy, following you everywhere. She is very curious, elated to see you, and such an adorable, smart little girl. The fact that she is missing her leg does not stop her, she runs, plays and can even jump, she has adapted quite well to her new life. She is still a puppy, she will barely be a year old, she will not grow any more, she is medium, around 28 pounds. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.

Story
Meet Eeyore Breed : French Bulldog Male : Fixed His backstory is as sad as many other dogs Eeyore was found as a stray on the streets in San Antonio ,Texas. He was neglected for way too long his poor body was tired and full of benign skin masses. After 2 surgeries he is a very happy little old man what still has so much love to give . His perfect adopter would be someone what is retired that can spend some quality time together. No small kids because he is so fragile. No other dogs or maybe one other dog depending on demeanor. Because our little Eeyore developed an obsession for toys. He collects all the toys and does not want to share with his foster siblings...even IF he has hoarded their toy!! :) Absolutely not.. he said mine mine mine . Kennel trained : He is in his kennel when I go to work. Does he like it no he will sing you the Frenchie song . Potty trained : Yes he got the hang of it also uses the doggy door . Love's : car rides in his doggie car seat , loves snacks and food , yogurt and Fresh blueberries Medication : Daily eye drops or eye cream . Eeyore deserves the BEST home! You must be able to love him and care for him for the rest of his life...he will give you his BEST SILLY BOY SELF :) Local adoption fee is $300( in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)

To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Coco is a female, brindled French Bulldog. She is 8.5 years old. Coco is very loveable and all she wants is to curl up and sleep near you. She does have extreme allergies which requires a very restrictive raw food diet, weekly bathing and ears cleaned. She loves her food but isn't a big fan of her baths and ear cleanings, although she does tolerate them well. She also needs her nails trimmed monthly. She is crate trained. Loves to go in the car with you and is very excited to see and meet people. She tolerates dogs but doesn't care for them to be in her space, but has no issue being in theirs. She loves treats and makes a cute little jump when it is feeding or treat time. She is always happy to see you but will run if it is time to clean those ears and she hears the package wrapper=) Best for kids over 12, no cats because of her allergies. With Coco's allergies and calm temperament, she would do best in a low energy house with someone who isn't away from home for a lot of hours daily. If you are looking for a constant, loveable companion, Coco is your girl!

Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Meet Luna Lou: Your Future Furry BFF! Name: Luna Lou Age: 4 years old Disposition: Cute, cuddly, and full of personality! KIDS UNDER 12: Luna Lou gets pretty anxious around little ones, maybe because they aren't much taller than her. So she'd rather live in a home with full-size humans. OTHER PETS: Luna Lou's motto: "I'm fabulous, but I prefer to be an only child." She'd rather not share her cozy spot on the couch or her human's lap with other pets. ALONE TIME: Luna Lou wants to be with her family at all times, so she's not a fan of being left home alone for too long. But if you have to leave her alone, she likes listening to the radio. CAR RIDES: Luna Lou's idea of heaven! Buckle up, because she's always ready for an adventure. Windows down, tongue out-she's the ultimate road trip companion. VACUUMS: Luna Lou's sworn enemies! Those noisy vacuum cleaners don't stand a chance when she's on duty. She'll protect your home from the evil dust bunnies! BIRDS & SQUIRELLS: Luna Lou is an avid birdwatcher and squirrel supervisor. She'll sit by the window, almost overly excited, and let those feathered and furry critters know who's boss with her enthusiastic barks. VET VISITS: Luna Lou insists on being carried into the vet's office like the royalty she is. This helps her not get nervous if she sees other animals in the waiting room. BATH TIME: Luna Lou's secret talent? Becoming a statue during bath time. But hey, she'll tolerate it because she knows it makes her smell like a million bucks afterward! SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: Luna Lou's favorite bedtime ritual? Burrowing under the covers with her people. She'll keep your toes warm and your heart full. POTTY TRAINING: Luna Lou is doing her best to be a good girl. Sometimes accidents happen, but she's committed to mastering the art of outdoor potty breaks! SENSATIVE TUMMY: Luna Lou appreciates gourmet human food, but her tummy prefers the predictability of kibble. She's not a foodie; she's a pragmatist! NAIL TRIMS: Drama queen alert! Luna Lou's nail trims are Oscar-worthy performances. Expect theatrics, but she'll forgive you afterward with a snuggle. If you're ready for car rides, cuddles, and a whole lot of Luna Lou love, she's waiting for her forever home! Adopt this quirky, lovable girl, and you'll have a loyal companion for life. DISCLAIMER: Luna Lou reserves the right to demand belly rubs at any time.

Story
Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Pudding came to us as a stray, so we have no prior knowledge of her "before" life. She is currently healing from some pretty severe urine staining, which we can only assume she spent most of her life in a crate and most likely used to breed. Those days are over, sweet girl! It didn't take long for her to win the hearts of a handful of Bulldog Haven NW volunteers and her foster family. She is just the most gentle and loving dog. She is quickly picking up her new routine from her foster fur siblings. It's a life of lots of walks, snuggles and love. Due to her skin infection, we will need to wait for her skin to heal to proceed with spaying her. She will also need to be evaluated for soft palate and nares surgery to help her strained breathing. Thanks to your kind and generous donations, we will be able to get her the treatment she needs.

Story
Animal Profile:  Penny is a 18-month-old, 65 lb spayed female English Bulldog mix. She has a tight, clean coat and an adorable underbite. She has guardian-breed tendencies and will need a breed-savvy owner able to provide appropriate leadership. She is loyal to her family and loves to snuggle. She enjoys playing with other dogs but requires a human who can supervise and advocate for appropriate interactions or she is prone to bullying behavior. She is currently being fostered in a home with two other dogs and is crate-trained, house-trained, and has basic obedience training. She will benefit from structure, leadership, and ongoing training. Once acclimated in a home environment, she loves to snuggle and play and has a goofy, loving personality.  Adopter Profile:  Single family residence required Secure fenced yard preferred Large breed experience required Bully breed experience preferred Other balanced dogs, dog-savvy cats, and older children considered on case by case basis Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, flea/tick treatment, deworming, and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Animal History:  Penny and her siblings were a surprise litter - their mother was adopted from a local family when she was unknowingly pregnant, so he got much more than he bargained for when she had puppies soon after her adoption. Penny was born on 12/09/22; one of the littermates was  DNA tested and so presumably all littermates are  75% English Bulldog, 12.5% German Shepherd, 12.5% Rhodesian Ridgeback. As puppies, these dogs were playful and engaging. Penny was adopted as a puppy to a family who was not prepared for the tendencies of this breed combination. Without any formal training, she developed territorial behaviors in the home and on walks that ultimately led the family to return her to the rescue. She has since been evaluated and fostered in a DGS foster home. She is currently available for adoption to the greater Seattle area.  November 6, 2024, 5:36 pm

Story
Animal Profile:  Tattie is a 20lb, 6-year-old female pug that found herself in need of rescue when she wound up in the Moreno Valley Shelter. We saw her profile, and knew we needed to get her out! A cage is no place to live for a pugtato. She arrives Sunday 10/20 and we are excited to meet her! Foster Update:  Tattie is a sweet, sassy girl. She loves cuddles, cozy dog beds, soft squeaky toys and naps. She wants to be part of all the family activities. She is thriving with our daily routine and takes cues from other dogs. She snores rather loud but has a quiet bark that she rarely uses. She can be pretty sporty in short bursts. She doesn’t love walks and will not go potty just because she’s outside (apartment life wouldn’t be a good fit). She needs time to explore the yard. She likes soft treats but isn’t very motivated by food. She can go up the stairs but can’t go down them (we’re working on that).   Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, and microchip with registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History:  This dog is arriving from San Bernadino via Wiggle Butts Transport on Sunday 10/20/2024. She will be available for adoption in the Seattle area. November 6, 2024, 5:36 pm
