Story
Sometimes you meet a dog that just overwhelms you with giddy joy and you wonder “where did you come from!?” That dog is Asher and he had that effect on literally everyone he has met since arriving on the scene. A little bit, where-did-you-come-from and a little bit, where-have-you-been! Sure he resembles a burnt potato, but in the best possible way! The smile though, that’s the ticket. His smile is the perfect introduction to him because he is just bringing smiles and giggles wherever he goes. Plus, he will let you dress him up, already perfect right there. Obviously, he is a thick boy, he could use to loose a few lbs. He is estimated to be 2 years old, weighs 42 lbs, and is some sort of beautiful bully mix, French bulldog meets English bulldog maybe? The bully gods are proud of this one either way! Of course in rescue, age and breed are offered as educated observations, not guarantees. We would love to know what the DNA results say when you get them back, we are just as curious. His looks may be what pulled you in but let me tell you about his amazing personality, that somehow perfectly matches his looks! He is bouncy, playful, happy, super loving, a friend to all and an absolute joy to be around! Great with other dogs, he quickly became a trusted assessment dog, used to gauge the behaviour of dogs potentially entering Three Little Pitties Rescue. Confident, stable and non-reactive, he brings a playful energy to the yard and lightens the tension an unsure dog may bring or helping by inviting a dog to play a game of chase. He would do great in a home with another dog, it would help keep him active, but he is confident enough that he would be perfectly content as your one-and-only lover boy. The chance to soak up all the belly rubs, booty scratches, and snuggles would be his version of heaven on earth! Asher hasn’t had the chance to meet kids yet since they have all gone back to school but we just know its going to be a natural fit. He is gentle and has great awareness of his body, a perfect example is how he puts the brakes on as he gets close to you while zooming. Older kids, 5+ would be ideal just so he doesn’t accidentally knock over a little that is new on their legs. If you have kids and are interested in him please apply, we have a kid-date planned and will be happy to share how it went. Asher has great leash skills and will be encouraged to increase his steps a bit to ensure he is staying healthy, but daily walks will be easy-breezy with him. He is incredibly friendly and honestly magnetic. People are going to want to see him and will likely ask if they can pet him pretty frequently. Basically, he will be a little celebrity on your block in no time. If much more is written about him you may think it is just gushing, so if you have questions about a specific detail or character trait, be in touch! We can answer any questions or test him for anything you may need to know to be sure he is the one for you and your life. Email elizabethbower@threelittlepittiesrescue.org and if you are ready to apply, here is the link to the application https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/66d5ed410508f9e93a0cf2fe Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. The adoption fee is $1000 and includes all vetting: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Meet Billy A dog with personality plus! Billy is 5 years old and this boy is totally unique! Very vocal...loves to talk to you. He's good with other dogs3but actually would prefer to have all of the attention. Billy is great with RESPECTFUL children and loves to cuddle and be loved on. Billy is obsessed with balls and certain toys to the extent of hiding them and then trying to get them....we would suggest toys are outside, otherwise he will scratch furniture trying to get them. Billy also loves to drink water3! We had a full panel bloodwork to make sure there were3no issues. Bloodwork came back perfect. He needs to have his water bowls picked up after he's had a drink or He will continue to drink. His adoption fee is 350.00 He's totally vetted and vaccinated and rabies and microchip. If you would like to meet Billy please submit an application to https://hopesrescue.godaddysites.com and someone will call you with an approved application.
