Meet Otie! 🐶🎾 Otie is a quirky little guy with a big personality packed into his 22-pound frame! Around 6 years old, this medium-sized boy is settling into foster life and showing off more of his funny, determined spirit every day. He’s a huge fan of car rides and will happily be your copilot on any adventure. He LOVES tennis balls and squeaky toys—basically anything he can proudly carry around like a prize. He hasn’t quite mastered “drop it” (we’re still deciding if it’s playfulness or pure stubbornness 😅), and with no tail to wag, his expressive personality comes out in hilarious vocalizations instead. But here’s the real deal with Otie: he’s a tough little character with some special care needs. He struggles with allergies that affect his ears and skin. Right now he’s on steroids, antibiotics, and ear cream, and the vet has recommended he will likely need monthly medication moving forward to keep things under control. Any adopter should be prepared for ongoing management of his allergies and possible ear flare-ups. Personality-wise, Otie is full of opinions and determination. He has a high prey drive (he proved this with chickens, so no small animals 🐔🚫), and he’s not suitable for a home with young kids. His toy possessiveness is real—if Otie wants it, he will get it—and sharing is not on his list of skills. With other dogs, he can coexist in the right match, but slow introductions and a calm, tolerant dog are key. He and his foster sibling are doing fine now, but it took patience and boundaries to get there. Otie is stubborn, persistent, and absolutely full of life. He’s not for everyone—but in the right home, one that understands his quirks, is willing to manage his allergy/ear care, and gives him structure, he will be an incredibly loyal, funny, and entertaining companion. ❤️

Meet Jewel! Jewel is a ~7 year old Frenchton who came to us after the owner couldn’t afford her medical care. Her foster thinks she may have been used as a breeder and then neglected, as she arrived to us underweight with some serious alopecia and a hematoma. Jewel hasn’t let any of this stop her, however, as she has a new lease on life! Jewel is learning that it’s okay to play and run around and spends much of her days pawing at her foster for some attention. She thinks she wants to play with other dogs, but hasn’t fully committed quite yet. Although as it relates to humans, she can’t control her spins when it’s time to eat or when the leash comes out. Jewel is so friendly that, on multiple occasions, her vet has asked if she can come earlier than her appointment to just be around all the staff (this is 100% true) She’s not housebroken yet, but we’re working on it. She is praise and food motivated so I don’t think it should be too heavy of a lift. But if you adopt Jewel you should expect a lifetime of snorts, hilarious faces, cuddletime, and love. ##2631327##

What Makes Me So Special Louie is an 8 month old Frenchie male with lots of personality! Louie enjoys playing with toys, laying with his humans and playing with his fur siblings. Louie is still learning and at times, can be stubborn. Louie is doing a wonderful job getting a potty routine down.. he has the occasional accident in the house or in his crate but he will go all night in his crate and will bark in the morning when he’s ready to go out. Louie lives with a cat now and is unsure what to think of her. He will bark at her and chase her but has never attacked the cat, he’s more curious. He has a fur sister and has gotten snippy with her, this has happened more when he’s sitting with his humans. He likes to eat and has gotten snippy with his fur sister but his fur sister is the same way and he just eats separately from the rest of the crew. Louie is currently in a home with younger children and due to his size and excitement, might be best in a home with older children. Louie is going to be a wonderful addition to a family that wants a playful, loving boy full of personality. People/Kids: loves people and kids. He would do better in a household with older children due to his size( children 10+) Car Rides: great in the car and seems to enjoy car rides Separation: will bark at times when left alone. Odie Roger is a 3-year-old French & English bulldog mix who weighs about 50lb. ODIE WILL NEED AN EXPERIENCED FOSTER OR ADOPTER. He’s wonderful with other dogs of all sizes and ages. He’s also fine with cats—as long as they don’t run. Once the chase instinct kicks in, he simply can’t help himself. He’s quick, but he’s never caught one, and honestly, I think the fun would end if he ever did. He is definitely a busy boy. Will require an active, interactive, balanced home. Would absolutely recommend another playful, active dog in the home, It helps. He's crate trained, housebroken. Adores toys and can get a little competitive (playing with other dogs). He knows basic commands and follows them well. He thrives under structure and stability—those are the keys to keeping him balanced and confident. He has been doing well in new environments, though he is still uncomfortable with new people who approach him directly. Odie is a vocal “flight, not fight” type of guy—he prefers to retreat and talk about it rather than escalate. At this point, I believe he is ready to move into the next phase of his journey. Lottie Pop is a brindle French Bulldog. She is approximately 3 years old and in basically good health. Lottie is, however, paralyzed fromher waist down. This injury has caused her to be incontinent. Both urinary and fecal. She wears diapers full time. Being a paraplegic has not slowed this girl down. She can move with the best of us. In her wheelchair or scooting on her bum, Lottie Popgets around just fine! She mastered the chair in no time. Smart girl. Lottie is a very gentle girl. She doesn’t mind being messed with. Bathing, nail trims or ear cleaning-- no problem. She used to squirmduring diaper change. Now she holds still so her foster mom can get the job done. She also has quite the wardrobe. Lottie dresses to thenines! Lottie Pop lives with 6 dogs and 1 cat. She does just fine with all of them.
