Story
Winston has a stubborn streak and would need a confident pet parent. Winston sometimes feels competitive and jealous over attention and best as the only pet in the home. No kids & no other pets. His diet should be one of high-quality and scheduled feedings otherwise he will over eat. He is very treat motivated and smart. Walks fine on a leash or supervised in a secured fenced yard. He will chase cars or anything that moves past him , like a squirrel etc. He is house broken but while adjusting to a new home, new smells, new routines, it would be important to take him out a lot and watch carefully the first few days. The first few days is critical to his adjustment period. He doesn’t like major life changes and may act out the first few days so it’s important the 3–3-3 adoption guide is followed. He is also crate trained but he hates being away from his person and may scream. He does love going on car rides but should be restrained while you are driving, so does get on your lap while driving. Winston has a lot of energy but walks should be short especially on hot or humid days, as it can be more difficult for them to breathe properly and they are prone to overheating. As with any Frenchie, facial folds should be cleaned on a daily basis . Ears should be checked regularly. He may need his teeth cleaned soon. As far as personality, he is Hilarious and entertaining personality. Loves catching a ball, rolling around on the sofa and jumping with joy. He has been tossed around a lot in the past month, but learning adaptability skills. He came to us as an angry little boy but is now adjusting well. . Hi my name is Blanche Muffin, I’m the prettiest little Frentchton Girlie! That’s what my foster mama tells me all the time and I never get tired of hearing it. She says I’m smart, loving and sweet. I’m gentle with people and love to go outside and play in the yard or go on walks. I get the zoomies before bed and run around so I can sleep through the night and not wake you up. I don’t like to sleep alone, so if it’s ok, I can sleep in my crate next to you? I would love a fenced in yard to run around in. I love to be chased, but not cornered. I do ok with another dog outside, but only larger than me female dogs or only dog home.     She is fawn-colored with a black muzzle. Her first name is appropriate because it means "white" in French! But we call her Muffin. She is a sweetheart, loves affection, loves to run and play and loves praise better than treats. She also loves to lay in your lap and get belly rubs. THE BASICS: Age: 1.5 years Weight: 20lbs  Spayed: Yes Microchipped: Yes Vaccines Up-to-Date & on Heartworm Prevention: Yes House-trained: Yes, trained to go "pee" and "poop" on command. Will go to the door if she needs to go.  Crate-trained: Yes, prefers a bigger crate Leash Skills: Good Medical: Had a cherry eye when she came into rescue, but that has been surgically repaired. LIKES/DISLIKES: Toys: Likes a pet-safe chew bone Other Animals: Dogs-very selective/ Cats-unknown. Better as any only dog.  People/Kids: Loves people; older children would be okay. Barks at new people until she sees they are friendly. Car Rides: Good Separation: Whines a little. Foster plays radio or plays animal videos in front of her crate.
