Hi my name is Blanche Muffin, I’m the prettiest little FrentchtonGirlie! That’s what my foster mama tells me all the time and I never get tired of hearing it. She says I’m smart, loving and sweet. I’m gentle with people and love to go outside and play in the yard or go on walks. I get the zoomies before bed and run around so I can sleep through the night and not wake you up. I don’t like to sleep alone, so if it’s ok, I can sleep in my crate next to you? I would love a fenced in yard to run around in. I love to be chased, but not cornered. I do ok with another dog outside, but only larger than me female dogs or only dog home.    Blanche Muffin is a Frenchton, although she looks just like a Frenchie. The breeder's sister surrendered her to us because she did not get along with one of the other dogs in the home, so Muffin is looking for a forever home where she can be the only princess. She is fawn-colored with a black muzzle. Her first name is appropriate because it means "white" in French! But we call her Muffin. She is a sweetheart, loves affection, loves to run and play and loves praise better than treats. She also loves to lay in your lap and get belly rubs. THE BASICS: Age: 1.5 years Weight: 20lbs  Spayed: Yes Microchipped: Yes Vaccines Up-to-Date & on Heartworm Prevention: Yes House-trained: Yes, trained to go "pee" and "poop" on command. Will go to the door if she needs to go.  Crate-trained: Yes, prefers a bigger crate Leash Skills: Good Medical: Had a cherry eye when she came into rescue, but that has been surgically repaired. LIKES/DISLIKES: Toys: Likes a pet-safe chew bone Other Animals: Dogs-very selective/ Cats-unknown. Better as any only dog.  People/Kids: Loves people; older children would be okay. Barks at new people until she sees they are friendly. Car Rides: Good Separation: Whines a little. Foster plays radio or plays animal videos in front of her crate. Story
Winston has stubborn streak and would need a confident pet parent. Raised with a large dog, Winston sometimes feels competitive and jealous over attention. He can live with other dogs. However, it’s crucial to introduce pets carefully and supervise playtime to ensure play doesn’t escalate to aggression. His diet should be one of high-quality and scheduled feedings otherwise he will over eat. He is very treat motivated and smart. Walks fine on a leash. House broken but while adjusting to a new home, new smells, new routines, it would be important to take him out a lot and watch carefully the first few days. He is also crate trained but he hates being away from his person and will scream. He does have a high prey drive, and can’t live in a home with cats. This kiddo will also need a secured fenced area , as he will catch any vehicle he sees moving. He does love going on car rides but should be restrained while you are driving, so does get on your lap while driving. Winston has a lot of energy but walks should be short especially on hot or humid days, as it can be more difficult for them to breathe properly and they are prone to overheating. As with any Frenchie, facial folds on a daily basis . Winston came to us with a chronic ear infection. Ears should be checked regularly; current his ears are being treated. He may need his teeth cleaned soon. As far as personality, he is Hilarious and entertaining personality. Loves catching a ball, rolling around on the sofa and jumping with joy. He has been tossed around a lot in the past month, but learning adaptability skills. He came to us as an angry elf, but hoping if adopted before Christmas he can become a holly jolly boy.
