Story
This beautiful girl came to us when her owner moved to Tennessee and was unable to find a place to live that allowed pets. Both Opal and her owner were heartbroken. Opal is a one and a half year old purebred white and fawn French bulldog. She weighs 22 pounds and she is now spayed, up-to-date on required vaccines, heartworm tested negative and micro chipped. She is a healthy little girl looking for her forever home. She is house trained, and she gets along ok with other dogs, but definitely wants to be the center of attention so she would do well with another laid-back dog or as an only dog. She is great with kids. If you would like to be sweet Opal’s hero, please email omlc7@hotmail.com or dogs4mylife@gmail.com and we will send our information and application. PLEASE NOTE THAT A LOT OF OUR RESPONSES GO TO JUNK MAIL SO IF YOU DO NOT SEE A RESPONSE FROM US, PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK/SPAM FOLDER.

Pinto Bean is one of a kind. Sweet and snuggly, and just the friendliest happy go lucky pup!  This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)   To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   PLEASE READ:     •    If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this.     •    All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date.     •    Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments.   Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well.   Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation.   For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application.   ##2282551##

Story
Meet Nina, this sweet 1.5 yr old French Bulldog was surrendered & ready to give birth by her owners, who could not afford her vet care. She was brought in with a huge infected abscess on her neck actually that was making it very difficult for her to breath. We could not let this sweetheart & her babies die so we agreed to take them on in spite of the huge expense. She pulled through surgery beautifully and delivered 3 healthy mixed breed puppies via C-section shortly after. After a few months with her southern foster, she is now in Massachusetts looking for her forever home. The current foster calls her, the best little girl and nearly perfect. There is no such thing as a stranger to Nina, she loves each and every person she meets ..as well as all dogs she has met. She is very high energy for a Frenchie. With her energy level, her new home should have a decent exercise plan. Although she would love a doggy friend, she doesn’t need one but any doggy friends should be within her size range to not accidentally injure her. Nina’s one downfall is she’s not yet housebroken. Her foster is working on this but she is not there yet. Her new family should be willing to work with her housebreaking issues. Whom ever ends up adopting Nina and bringing her into their family is going to be a very lucky happy family.. She has an amazing personality and brings joy to anyone who has the pleasure of meeting her Please apply for Nina at coaldr.org

Story
Hi! My name is Mattie, and I am clearly one of the most handsome Frenchie-Shih Tzu mixes around! Just take a look at those pictures! I ‘m about 4 months old, so I’m still very full of puppy energy, playfulness, and curiosity. I love playing rough and tumble with my brothers, Henri and Nickie, but I also enjoy stuffed animals and chewing on chew toys. But most of all, I just want to be close to my foster people. I am fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, heartworm-negative (on prevention), and have been neutered. Please apply for me at coaldr.org
