Story
This beautiful girl came to us when her owner moved to Tennessee and was unable to find a place to live that allowed pets. Both Opal and her owner were heartbroken. Opal is a one and a half year old purebred white and fawn French bulldog. She weighs 22 pounds and she is now spayed, up-to-date on required vaccines, heartworm tested negative and micro chipped. She is a healthy little girl looking for her forever home. She is house trained, and she gets along ok with other dogs, but definitely wants to be the center of attention so she would do well with another laid-back dog or as an only dog. She is great with kids. If you would like to be sweet Opal’s hero, please email omlc7@hotmail.com or dogs4mylife@gmail.com and we will send our information and application. PLEASE NOTE THAT A LOT OF OUR RESPONSES GO TO JUNK MAIL SO IF YOU DO NOT SEE A RESPONSE FROM US, PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK/SPAM FOLDER.

Story
Meet Choco: The Mighty Frenchie Dynamo! If you’re looking for a tiny but mighty bundle of joy, meet Choco—the French bulldog equivalent of a firecracker! This 30-pound, one-year -old powerhouse is packed with energy and charm, and he’s on a mission to dominate your heart (and possibly the local dog park).Choco is a high-energy adventurer who believes that every day is a new opportunity to play, run, and earn some serious belly rubs. Friendly with people (he’s practically a canine social butterfly), Choco does have a particular taste in friends. He’s dog-selective and prefers to be the king of his castle, but don’t worry; he plays well with submissive pals who recognize his royal demeanor!Though he sports a cleft palate, Choco’s eating skills are nothing short of impressive, and his condition doesn’t hold him back one bit. He’s neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on all his vaccines—essentially, he’s ready to party! Choco is not completely potty trained, but with a consistent schedule and positive reinforcement he will do fine.Choco’s motto is simple: “A tired Choco is a happy Choco!” So, prepare yourself for long walks, epic play sessions, and all the training fun you can handle. With a little guidance, he’s eager to become the best version of himself. Are you ready to embrace the chaos and cuteness that is Choco? He’s not just the cutest dog in the world; he’s also the best adventure buddy you could ask for!!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Birdie is an absolute sweetheart! At nearly three years old, She would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of love and attention. Due to our recent addition of a baby who has allergies, we need to reduce dust and dog hair in our home, and we feel she isnt getting the affection she truly deserves. Birdie has always been gentle with people and enjoys playful interactions with both cats and dogs. She has been known to chase our cat but never aggressively. She adores children and loves to snuggle up. While she is potty trained, she does need supervision or a crate to avoid any mishaps. If you have experience with French Bulldogs, you know they can be a handful! She also has chewed some toys and furniture when left to her own devices, ultimately my own fault for her boredom. I paid $2,300 for her, and she is a purebred. She can get hotspots in fall and spring but easy meds from the vet fixed the itching. She would be a lovely dog for anyone who has the time to enjoy her

These pups are in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania too!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application Update: Pudge went through an allergy test and it revealed he was allergic to cats, dust and storage mites.  He will be getting an allergy shot to help with his itchy skin that lasts 3 months.  Adopters without cats will only be considered for Pudge's wellbeing.  Brief Description: This is "Pudge." What you see is what you get...easy going, calm, well...lazy. :) Likes: Being a couch potato, chewing on Nylabones, eating, sleeping...he's a guy with simple pleasures. Dislikes: Having is nails clipped. Having to wait more than 30 seconds for his food when it's being prepared. Personality: Calm. Chill. Quiet (except when food is being prepared for him). Can be stubborn! Temperament: Laid back. Not much upsets or excites Pudge. Energy level: None. Favorite activities: EATING! Watching TV on the couch with his human while he chews a bone. Good with cats, dogs, and kids (over 6)?: Cats: unknown; Dogs: great - no issues; Kids: unknown but suspect he would be absolutely fine. Haven't found anything so far Pudge isn't good with. He doesn't particularly care to have his nails clipped or baths but he tolerates both. House trained: Working on it and making good progress. It is uncertain where Pudge came from and/or if he's ever been house trained so, therefore, he was started from scratch and he's come a long way. With a consistent schedule and time to adjust he should do well. Crate trained: YES! Pudge loves his crate. Requires a fenced yard (physical fence and/or invisible fence?): No. Walks well on a leash?: When he wants to. Pudge doesn't pull or fight. He just won't walk with his human if it's not where he wants to go. Been working on that and he's doing much better. Challenges: Getting him to socialize more with people and pets. Pudge mostly keeps to himself. He is starting to make attempts to play with the other dogs and humans here and there but needs encouragement. Pudge will need lots of encouragement to get any exercise. Any medical issues?:  Pudge is currently being treated for a persistent skin infection secondary to suspected allergies. He is much improved from when he first arrived. Pudge has recovered well from recent bilateral entropion. Eye irritation and drainage is markedly decreased since the surgery. Pudge has been on a long-term antibiotic treatment and, as a result, he has been having persistent soft stools, however, it's been controlled with feeding Science Diet I/D food and Pepto-Bismol. What would be the best kind of home?:  Pudge would be perfectly happy to be an only dog getting all the attention lavished upon him; however, he is also fine with the other dogs in the household. Pudge is ideal for someone who wants a calm, easy going companion. He is not a hiking, running, or hunting dog by any means.  Application Fees, Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our fees and donations pay for the costs of rescuing dogs. These include but are not limited to pull fees from shelters, veterinary examinations, vaccinations, medications and care, microchips, neuter/spay surgeries, heartworm treatments, behavior evaluations, and foster care, as needed.
