Story
Location: Dayton, OH Food: Raw Diet Medication:Standard Process brand; Super-EEF, Neuroplex and Neurotrophin PMG My name is Tiffany, and I'm Penelope's talent agent. Penelope studied Ballet at Cincinnati Ballet School in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a Principal dancer and danced so beautifully. She was coming out of a Ronde de jambe and lost her footing and fell. After many doctors appointments she has not gained full movement from her waist down. The poor girl lost most of her feeling in her right leg. She still has her pointed toes though! After many people tried and couldn't deal with her dancer drama, BadAss Bulldog rescue jumped in and took over. Penelope is now thriving and slowly getting on her feet. We believe that with continued acupuncture she will just keep getting better! Here is a little snippet from Penelope herself so you can get to know her! I am the happiest girl you will ever meet! I love to play, chew on toys, get pets and treats!!! I've never met a treat I didn't like! I'm a chewer so I always need something to chew on. As you have noticed I don't walk very well. After seeing all these doctors we decided to start acupuncture. So far it is really helping! I'm gaining more stability in the left leg but my right leg still gets a little wonky. I'm standing more and walking some. I use a brace and wheelchair to help me walk. When I'm not in my brace and wheelchair, I'm the fastest dog on two legs!I am incontinet, I sometimes wear diapers and I don't alway know when I need to go to the bathroom. My foster mom tries to give me more outside time so I don't have any accidents in the house. I love it outside! I also love to play with the other dogs. I enjoy tugging on toys with my foster sister, it's my favorite game. I will say that the one thing I enjoy the most is laying in my bed and chewing on my toys. I love to sit there and watch everyone while I relax! If I sound like the bestest best best buddy for you then please fill out an application. I very excited to meet you!

Story
Location: Dayton, OH Food: Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Medical/Medication: Skin allergies-needs daily wrinkle care and chlorhexadine wipes for paws. Monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Greetings! My name is Stevie Nicks, and I have beautiful golden hair just like my famous namesake! I did have some allergy issues that are so much better now, but where I had scratched the fur is growing back in a number of shades of strawberry blonde making me very striking at the moment! I am four years old and was surrendered by a breeder to this rescue. Since living in my foster home I have been getting along terrifically with my foster brothers and sisters and even try to play with their bunnies (although only one is actually big enough to truly play with). I love to visit with my neighbors and their dog next door and the two little girls across the street. A fence is not required but highly recommended as I have recently learned how fast I can run, and I keep my foster family on their toes if someone is walking by. Catch me if you can! I love playing with rubber, Kong-style toys and wrestling with my siblings here. I also enjoy snacks of cheese. I'm kind of a picky eater but my fosters have been dressing up my food with plain yogurt or shredded cheese so it's more enjoyable. I am not a fan of the deep bowls, so I will sometimes decline to eat my food unless it's in a shallow dish or even on the floor. I just think it tastes better that way. I do know SIT and COME is almost unnecessary as I will follow you around everywhere. (Unless there is a handsome dog walking past...then all bets are off! I must meet everyone!) I enjoy leisurely walks and don't pull on the leash but I do get tired and walk a bit on the slower side. I like to take my time and enjoy the outdoors, you know? We are diligently working on housebreaking. I find grass weird. I spent all my time in a drop bottom crate so this potty outside is entirely new to me. I recommend scheduled potty breaks and just so you know I will likely do my business in mulched areas or on a sidewalk or driveway before using the grass. This is another reason a fenced yard would be preferable because I can take my time exploring the yard and not be distracted by someone holding my leash. I am waiting for the perfect family to come find me so I can snuggle with you in bed, on the sofa, or anywhere else we may be!

Story
Location: Kettering, OH Food: Royal Canin Ultamino Medication: Monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention Beautiful Blueberry is far more than a pretty face with an incredible grayish/blue coat; she is girl strength personified!! She was a breeder surrender and when I picked her up from the breeders' daughter we weren't really sure she was going to make it. It was obvious by all of the old scars all over her body and the new 1/2" deep gauges on both of her back legs, she had been to places that nightmares are made of. She was so skinny, stinky, and scared. We immediately got her to our Angel ver in Cincinnati and they cleaned up her wounds and put her on several medications and antibiotics. In just a few short weeks she was strong enough for her spay and nare/palate surgeries and on her way to becoming a true BADASS BULLDOG! She would do best in a home where her humans are around. She really loves to be around us. She is a bit shy with loud noises but is surprisingly not fearful of people. She does well with other dogs, even difficult dogs like our personal dog. She hasn't been around cats much but hasn't really paid much attention to them when shes seen them outside. She's not a clingy, velcro dog though which I think is a great thing so it's easy to do your thing with her just chilling with you. She loves to run around outside in our backyard and play! Ideally her family would have a fenced yard because we are just now training with off leash but she has not mastered it yet. She is a really fast runner so I keep this in mind with her off leash training. She is crate trained and loves to sleep in her crate at night and will also go in there sometimes during the day for a litte decompression. She is potty trained but has had occasional accidents. She does ok on the leash but is sometimes hesitant at first so I usually just pick her up and take her out and she'll do a short, slow walk. She does fine riding in the car. She's great with kids, all ages. I'd love to see her with a faimly with kids but again she'd also do well in a home with just her one human, or two. She really is a pretty flexible gal! Keep in mind though since this sweet girls has had her GLOW-up she is ready to PLAY,PLAY,PLAY!

Story
Location: Hamilton, OH Food: Hydrolyzed Protein Medication: Monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention Meet Stella, the lovable French Bulldog with a personality as colorful as a bag of Sour Patch Kids! At just 1 year and 10 months, this little dynamo is equal parts sugar and spice, and you better believe she has her own special blend of charm and sass. When you first meet Stella, you'll be greeted with puppy dog eyes and an enthusiastic butt wiggle that will melt your heart. Just like the sweet side of a Sour Patch Kid, she adores all humans, greeting friends and strangers alike with an infectious joy that has the power to brighten even the grumpiest of days. She's the canine embodiment of "You've got this, buddy! in a four-legged package. But wait-don't let that sugary sweetness fool you! Stella has a feisty streak that could rival any sour twist! With the energy of a thousand fireworks when it comes to her toys and treats, she is a self-appointed guardian of her goodies. Other dogs? Let's just say Stella would rather keep all the fun for herself-sharing is not in her vocabulary! This means she needs to be the queen of her castle, and she insists on ruling solo as the only dog in the house. So, if you're looking for a furry friend who's sweet as pie to her human pals but would relish a good game of "mine, mine, mine! with other four-legged friends, Stella is your girl! Just remember: behind that adorable Frenchie face is a spirited diva who knows exactly what she wants-pet me, snuggle me and love me... if I sound like a good fit, please fill out an application

Story
Location: Dayton, OH Clarissa: 2 yr old 10/02/22.. chocolate trindle frenchi bulldog.. dogs - Good and bossy with toys and bones Kids - Older only becuase of her fears Cats - unknown but mostly doesn't care won't bother them Food: she is on hydrolysed protein becuase she wouldn't eat for weeks on intake and that is now what she likes.. but any grain free, no chicken duck or turkey would be fine for her (no Severe allergies) Physical fence: not required. But leash is a must in thr beginning Potty trained; yes but will Still have accident in crate if left for extended times Crate trained: yes and loves it for security Let's talk about the one and only beautiful CLARISSA... she is a specimen of beauty and the look of a perfect frenchie with a gorgeous dark chocolate coat.. now let us discuss what that got her? A life doomed for making puppies.. She came into rescue one of the most scared dogs i have ever met. She wouldn't run from you because she was frozen in time.. so freaked out she couldn't even muster up enough confindence to run and hide.. she was panic stricken.. never having human touch, never having human contact it was horrifying for her.. she had bloody poop for weeks, just due to stress.. she most likely lived in a barn or outdoor kennel, becuase the thought of walking through the doorway to enter in a house was more than she could do for weeks.. it took me a month to get her to move while i was holding her leash.. moving forward to Clarissa today! She comes out of her crate in the morning spinning in the air with excitement jumping on and off me, she waits for her food and runs to her crate to eat.. she runs outside with the other dogs go potty in the grass, poop takes a bit longer but she gets it.. she grabs toys and bones and plays by herself.. she is interested in running and playing with the dogs but she runs after them and then doesn't know what to do once she gets there.. lol she does however throw her toys on the air and jumps on them And shakes them, having a ball.. she will Zoomie around the yard and deck with pure joy with her newest favorite toy.. she just learned how ro take treats from you hand last weekend.. she goes for walks with me and by boys daily where she is perfection.. she walks perfect on a leash to my left side always, her choice not mine.. lol Clarissa goes to events and in a puppy pen with all the other rescue pups, she actually mooches pet from humans and even sneaks in an occasional smooch to new people.. she is the fun police when the dogs get rowdy though. But corrects easily.. she is not great at sharing her bones or toys with the other dogs yet, but she is getting better, she will just stand over them (toys) instead of growling and jumping at the other dogs.. she just doesn't know but is learning quickly and corrects easily .. moving on.. Clarissa's ideal Home: would be a family without young kids, due to her fears.. other dogs non dominant would be best in the beginning.. a family that does or doesn't have experience with extreme fearful Dogs, she is NEVER NEVER NEVER shown any aggression with her fears.. she just freezes and now learned too run away if she is scared or unsure.. run away in the house or yard always returning to try and figure it out, she is not a Flight risk, she won't go that far.. more of a circling technique to stay close but so you know she isn't quite comfy yet.. with a little side twist or play..Her new family should Be committed to continuing to move her forward.. she needs daily walks in public or parks.. she needs to be your side kick for adventures.. CLARISSA is not meant to be a house dog, the world is her future playground.. she does amazing in public and she loves it and is curious , so in order to continue to help her recover from her precious trauma it is imperative, that she is out and about and moving forward.. i would say 6 months with your family and socializing and she will be a well rounded amazing, pretty puppy that god intended her be.. a little ground work and she will get there.. If this sounds like something your willing to put in a bit of work for then fill out the app and let's have a meet and greet.. you won't be disappointed i promise you that!!
