Story
Location: Dayton, OH Food: Wellness Core Ocean Medication: Monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention Kiki here…I am looking for my new furever home. I am a friendly little girl who loves people of all ages. I do get along with other dogs, but I need time to decompress and feel comfortable and a slow introduction would be best. I can be a little bossy, so I need some strict boundaries until I am fully settled in. I’m just used to being spoiled, but I’m not opposed to sharing as long as whoever adopts me enforces those boundaries. I would probably do best with another dog that doesn’t care that I am in charge. I am not, however, willing to share my space with any cats or other small animals. My traits: super snuggle bug, cheese-lover, fully potty trained, did I mention lover of cheese? I am crate trained, although it’s not my favorite place. Will collapse and flop over if I think it will elicit pets. Will eat cheese of all types. I do well on car rides. Oh, and I love cheese!

Story
Location: Dayton, OH Food: N&D Iceab Ancestral Grain, Cod, Splelt, Oats and Orange Adult Dog Food Medication: Monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention Hey there! My name is Razor, and I am a 3 year old Frenchie! I am still getting used to living in a home after spending my entire life inside of a pen so patience is required to teach me the ways of being a spoiled boy! My potty training skills are improving daily, and with consistency I will get it down quickly! When I got to my foster mom's house my breathing was very rough, I was able to get my Badass makeover the very next morning and boy oh boy is my breathing so much better even though I'm still in the very early stages of recovery! My foster mom wants my furever family to know that I love squeaky toys, that I really love the ladies (which will die down a bit as my hormones slowly get out of my system), and that I love people! I've been very good with my foster siblings, I try to be bossy if I have a toy but listen very good when my foster mom says "leave it". I love cozy beds, and car rides and although I was new to getting baths I did really good for my foster mom when I got my first one. What type of home would be a great home for me? I want a family where I can gets lots of attention, maybe a furry sibling or two but I'm also okay being the only one to bask in the sunshine of your attention! Oh and yes, my tongue sticks out all the time! I'm a blank slate and am willing to learn all the new things! I love to entertain!

Story
Elliott (born 12.16.17) is a 7-year-old French Bulldog. At just 22.5 pounds, this little guy has a good mix of chill and what we can only describe as puppy energy. He was surrendered along with his Frenchie fur-friend, Oliver (also available through Badass if you are considering 2), so we know he can live with dogs. Cats, though, are another story. He acts like he’s never seen one, and is very anxious to investigate. Because of his curious and pushy nature to sniff/chase the cat, Elliott has been swatted in the face and hissed at, but it does not stop him. We’ve had to intervene to stop the dog/cat interaction, and while it has gotten better, Elliot may be better in a non-cat home. Despite the cat, Elliott is getting more and more comfortable here each day. At first, he had a lot of nervous energy, understandable because he is an owner surrender due to his owner having health issues. So, our new environment is a big, sudden change for him. The great news about Elliott is that he’s healthy! He’s not needed any major medical intervention, which is a plus because he gets a bit nervous going to the vet’s office. He’s not fond of his nails being cut or being groomed, but hey, who’s perfect? At night, Elliott’s routine with us has evolved. At first, he slept in a crate. While he didn’t embrace going in, he eventually did a nice job of settling down and sleeping throughout the night. As of late, he’s slept in bed with our daughter, which is more what he’s used to. Elliott loves people. He gets a bit anxious when you leave the room (we have parts of the house gated). He’s good with men, women, and children alike. When you come home, you’re sure to get the butt squiggle and tail-nub wag. He’s really good about hanging out with our my 9-year-old daughter as well as her friends. As of this writing, I’m working in the kitchen, and he’s hanging out in a dog bed, just chilling out. He enjoys being around his people! He also enjoys balls…yes, balls are definitely up there on his list of priorities. He does growl a bit when playing, but it seems to be all in good fun…like if you’re trying to grab the ball from his mouth, etc. Note: He seems to be a little possessive of toys/food around other animals. Overall, Elliott is a super sweet little man – and – he has a signature look. My daughter noticed that one side of his face has white whiskers, while the other side has black. We think his signature look makes him even cuter! Elliott is currently eating Hills Science Diet brand dog food, and gets a routine monthly for flea/heartworm prevention pill. If you think this little guy would make the perfect addition to your family, fill out his application today! Elliott is located in Columbus, Ohio. Potential adopters are required to travel here for an in person meet and greet with all family members in the home, including dogs.

Story
Location: Dayton, OH Food: Wholesomes sensitive skin and stomach with salmon protein Medication: monthly flea tick and heartworm prevention Who doesn’t love a soft fluffy puppy? Kylo is a 6 1/2 months old hybrid fluffy bully puppy, so he has a lot of puppy energy and will need someone willing to be patient through continued training and housebreaking. He was recently neutered and had palate surgery and needs just a little more recuperation time. He is already back up to almost full speed playing with his foster siblings, so he would do great with other dogs. He does want to chase our house rabbits, so I would not recommend small animals around him. Since we don’t have cats, I can’t say for certain how he would do around them. I would advise caution since we have no experience to make a suggestion given how he acts around the rabbits though. Kylo has met our neighbors’ small girls and was very friendly and playful around them. He does still jump up and could scratch or knock over a small child, so I would recommend children 8 or older who would be more comfortable handling a high energy puppy. This guy is super silly and loves to flop and have his belly rubbed. He also likes to chase balls and play with his Kong toy. He is a little whiny about his crate when initially put in but settles in and sleeps well in it.

Everyone has that uncle who drinks a little bit too much at the holiday parties and makes inappropriate comments to his girlfriend in front of Grandma before starting a fight with the neighbor, right?? No? Well, get yourself one. Never let your parties be dull again. Adopt Yoda; he’s Da Man! But make sure any parties you take him to are kid free because he is rated M for mature. It’s probably best you keep him away from the neighbors too… He’s more of a ladies man anyway. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   March 8, 2025, 11:01 pm

She will need to work on house training but is using puppy pads well and she sleeps soundly through the night. She rarely barks and is a very content little girl. Story
Whiskey is a four-year-old, 19-pound Frenchie who loves to snuggle and has a fun-happy go-lucky personality. Her superpowers include her beautiful, mesmerizing gold eyes, her loving personality as she loves everyone she comes into contact with, her curiosity about new things without showing fear and snuggling and relaxing in the evenings when downtime is much desired. Whiskey is still learning leash manners but loves staying close to her people. House training is a work in progress, though she’s made strides in going potty outside, even in the recent harsh weather. She settles in her crate within 10-15 minutes but is an early riser, ready for adventure by 6:30 AM! This sweet girl is easy to please—she’s absolutely obsessed with snuggles and enjoys having her head and ears rubbed. She’s also starting to take an interest in toys, with favorites including her Kong, rubber chicken, and chewable bones. Checking me out???? Of COURSE you are!!! I am cute, I am smart and I am a frenchie!! Now, before we go too far in this potential relationship I need you to know...I fart sometimes... :) I snort AND snore... AND i have a flat face :) Now that we have THAT outta the way, lets get down to brass tacks...this is the part of my bio that explains why I have a pink wheelchair! No one knows why I am partially paralyzed, very likely a very common frenchie malady caused by crappy breeding :( But honestly, it adds so much to my charm and my strength of character ;) I am a SURVIVOR. I was at the pound, skin and bones and scared and pleading with my eyes to get out of there alive.... and a wonderful frenchie/bulldog LOVER and FOSTER MOM saw me and begged for the rescue to help me... and I hardly had to turn on the charm because the rescuer saw my face, and my foster's determination to help me and it was a done deal! Now I am healthy, I am happy, I am GREAT with other dogs and would be best with one or several other buddies. I am great with kids but due to my disability should be older kids. I cannot wait to be your family member, you will get snorts/farts/snoring and lots of silliness when you adopt me so don't hesitate!! Local adoption fee is $350 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)

🎄 Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree with Roxy! 🎅🐾 Hey there, future best friend! I’m Roxy, your soon-to-be holiday sidekick, ready to fill your home with cheer, zoomies, and energy this season. If you’re into plush toys, festive fun, and a pup who lives for adventure, then we’re about to make some holiday magic together! 🎁✨ When I play, I go all out—think of me as your little Christmas whirlwind! I LOVE chewing on toys (Santa, please bring me more!) and have enough excitement to light up the whole neighborhood. My enthusiasm might be a bit much for some pups, but my foster sister keeps me in check when I need a reminder. I promise, it’s all in good fun—I’m just here to sleigh the day! Now, I’ll admit: new places can make me feel a bit like a Christmas cookie fresh out of the oven—nervous and warm. I might pace, drool, or pant when I’m adjusting, but with patience, love, and a good decompression plan, I’ll be as cozy as a pup in a stocking. Once I know the rules, I’ll show you how amazing I can be! 🎁 Here’s my holiday wish list: 1.) Patience and understanding while I adjust to my new home. 2.) Clear boundaries and rules to help me feel safe and secure. 3.) LOTS of playtime to burn off my reindeer-worthy energy. 4.) A loving family who understands vet visits make me a bit nervous (but treats help a ton!). 5.) Treats, belly rubs, and a cozy spot by the fire to call my own. If you’re ready for a lively, loving, and loyal pup to make your holidays brighter, I’m your girl. Let’s deck the halls, play in the snow, and create a lifetime of memories together! 🎅 Love, Roxy 🐾

🎄 Holly Jolly Lightning McQueen 🎅🐾 Ka-chow and ho-ho-ho! I’m Miss McQueen—Lightning to my friends—and I’m here to sleigh your holiday season with fun, adventure, and love! Whether it’s chasing squirrels in a winter wonderland or snuggling by the fire with my crew, I’m ready to be the best gift you’ve ever unwrapped. 🎁 I’m all about living life in the fast lane—outdoors is where I shine! Squirrels, birds, rabbits—you name it, I’m on it. But don’t let my speed fool you; I’m also a pro at relaxing after a day of festive fun. Give me a comfy couch, some holiday movies, and I’m your ultimate cuddle buddy. Last year, my journey hit a detour when I found myself in a shelter after my adopter left me behind. But I didn’t let that slow me down! I’ve been working on shedding those extra holiday pounds (down from 78 lbs to a sleek 60 lbs!) and am looking for my forever family to help me stay on track. With your help, I’ll be dashing through the snow in no time! ❄️ 🎅 Here’s why I’ll make your holidays merry and bright: 🎄 I’m great with other dogs, cats, and kids—perfect for a bustling holiday home. 🎄 I’m housebroken, crate-trained, and full of love—Santa himself would approve! 🎄 I balance my high-energy squirrel chases with cozy snuggle sessions—best of both worlds! If you’re ready to welcome a loyal, loving, and adventurous pup into your home, I’m ready to make your holiday season unforgettable. Fill out that adoption app, and let’s race into a lifetime of love and laughter. 🎁 Love, Miss McQueen 🐾
