Story
Location: Covington, KY Food: Farmina N&D Tropical Selection Salmon Medication: NexGard Plus Are you looking to feel like Peter Pan by having a shadow that will interact with you? If so, Doreen is your girl! Frenchies are called "velcro dogs", and Doreen is industrial grade. Forget about the idea of personal space... she loves people, and loves HER person the most of all. She hasn't shown much interest in toys or playing, but she loves to snuggle and on walks will insist on saying hello to every person she sees. Speaking of walks - this girl is amazing on a leash! Doreen does like kiddos, but can get a little shy if things are too noisy so she would do better in a home with kids who are a little older. She likes other dogs too, but the same rules apply - if they're high energy or vocal, they probably won't be a great match for her. She does love to cuddle up with her foster sister at bed time, so a dog that can match her energy would be wonderful but she would also love to be the star of the show in a home where she's the only four-legged resident. If you want a sidekick who will follow you to the ends of the earth as long as there's a comfy bed, pillow, or blanket to curl up on, Doreen might be your girl! ***Adoption Process*** -All current pets in the home need to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and on veterinarian prescribed flea/tick/heart worm prevention. -Everyone living in the home, including all resident dogs, must be present at the meet and greet located in the Southwest Ohio area. -We DO NOT ship dogs!!!

Story
Location: Centerville, OH Food: Blue Buffalo Salmon and Brown Rice Medication: NexGard Plus, Forti Flora This pint sized pup made quite an entrance to rescue with his insides trying to visit the outside world (rectal prolapse). After emergency surgery to correct this and neuter (while in Rome, right?) Timmy spent the next couple weeks healing up from that ordeal before returning to the vet to have his nares and palate surgeries. So what do I know about this teeny boy? He is tiny. He weighed 25 1/2 on arrival but didn’t have a waist at all. Now he is 21 1/2 and is perfectly sized for his frame. He can’t wear any clothes because all of them are too long for his body or his legs if they fit his chest. I know that he is working hard on potty training, but the background of his surgery combined with the aftermath of his surgery has made it hard to tell what his baseline is. He will go outside, but we have had a few accidents that have gotten fewer in number the longer he’s had to heal but will need more time and consistency in his new home. I know he is food motivated. He knows SIT and NO. He is crate trained. He loves to follow you or his foster siblings around everywhere. He cuddles and plays, but is a more reserved player with the other dogs. What I don’t know…if Timmy likes cats, although he is a perfect gentleman with our free roam rabbit. So my guess is that he would likely do fine with cats. I’m not sure how potty training will look for his future. I don’t know how he does on walks as it got very cold before we could get out for any lengthy walks. Lastly, I know he is absolutely super stinking adorable!

Story
Location: Dayton, OH Food: Zignature Trout and Salmon Medication: NexGard After being surrendered by an out-of-state puppy mill, this 2½-year-old French Bulldog arrived in Ohio without even a name. While searching for French inspiration, we came across “Mon chéri,” meaning “my darling”—described as “a warm hug sprinkled with sweetness.” We couldn’t imagine a more perfect name for this special girl. Meet Cherie! 💕 Cherie is a nicely balanced dog: playful but not wild, laid-back but never boring, affectionate yet perfectly content to nap in her crate. She also has just enough of classic Frenchie orneriness to make things fun. She genuinely enjoys playing with other dogs, but say the word “Netflix” and she’s ready to claim her spot on the couch. She’s happy relaxing in her crate with a bone, but we also have video proof of her attempting to pick up a broomstick as if it were a toy, which, as you can imagine, did not go as planned! Cherie loves toys and one of her favorite games is dragging them outside and leaving them scattered across the yard for you to collect (she enjoys this more than you will). She’s even been known to relocate a car snow scraper to the backyard, for reasons unclear. As you may have guessed from these examples, she will try to chew on household items if given the opportunity, so a dose supervision is helpful. Cherie is crate trained, quiet in her crate, and about 90% house trained. Cold weather, however, is not her favorite—she needs a little extra encouragement to go outside when it’s cold, wet, or snowy (she’d like it noted that she is, in fact, not the postal service). She does great in the car and enjoys riding along for adventures. While no dog is perfect, Cherie’s quirks are minor, and she truly lives up to her name. Sweet, friendly, and loving with everyone she meets, both human and canine. She loves to stare up at you with big soft eyes that will melt your heart. Cherie would thrive in a home that offers plenty of cuddles, opportunities to play with other dogs, leisurely walks… and, per Cherie’s request, plenty of chew toys.

Story
Location: Dayton, Ohio Food: RAW Medication: Monthly Flea/Tick/Heartworm, Myos powder, Ligaplex supplement Special Needs: Chiropractic visits/hydrotherapy 💖 Meet Amari 💖 This little Frenchie firecracker is the perfect blend of snuggle bug, party girl, and inspiration! 🐾 Amari’s journey with us began in true bulldog fashion — dramatic, brave, and full of heart. Her story started with an emergency IVDD surgery after two slipped discs left her unable to stand. It was a scary, uncertain time… until one incredible foster family stepped in and showed her that love truly can heal. From there, Amari began her comeback story. With daily exercises, visits to an acupuncturist, and the help of a set of custom wheels, she started to rediscover her strength — and her spark. Those wheels didn’t slow her down one bit; if anything, they gave her wings. Even when her back legs didn’t want to cooperate, Amari decided she’d just bring them along for the ride. She was the fastest thing on two legs! We knew she needed even more support to reach her full potential, so she joined us here locally where she could get frequent hydrotherapy and chiropractic care. The progress she’s made since then has been nothing short of inspiring. Her chiropractor even uses a special laser treatment that’s helping her continue to improve every week on her sprinkles (see more about that later). And through it all, Amari has never lost her sparkle. She’s a HARDCORE PLAYER who takes her playdates seriously — toys, stuffies, other dogs — she’s the life of the party. You’d never guess how much she’s overcome just by watching her zoom around with that huge smile and determined little trot. Now, let’s talk about one of Amari’s most endearing quirks — her love sprinkles. While she’s technically potty trained, she does have some incontinence and the occasional excited tinkle. She’s just that happy to see you! We choose to love her exactly as she is — mop on standby and hearts wide open — because those wiggles and wags are pure joy. Sure, she could wear a diaper, but we prefer to let her live and love freely. Her forever family will share that same understanding and unconditional love. She is on a RAW food diet which does help with this! Amari adores her people with every ounce of her being. She’s affectionate, vocal, goofy, and will happily hold full conversations with you until she gets what she wants (spoiler: it’s probably kisses or snuggles). ✨ In short: *Survived emergency IVDD surgery & conquered rehab like a champ *Hydrotherapy, chiropractic, and laser treatments continue to help her thrive *Not fan of her diva den... she and the crate are not zen, not bffs. *Certified Snuggle Queen *Potty trained but proudly sprinkles love when excited 💕 *Fluent in kisses, wiggles, and conversation This beautiful girl needs a forever family ready to embrace her quirks, celebrate her progress, and cheer her on. Amari’s journey isn’t over — not by a long shot. Her forever family will be the ones ready to step in and walk beside her, helping her keep putting one paw in front of the other until she finds her strongest, happiest self. Her work isn’t done, but we know the right people are out there — ready to help her continue this incredible journey. This girl isn't labeled special needs, she is simply SPECIAL. To the right people, she will be your everything. If your heart is open, you need to meet this girl. She is something amazing and her story is one for the books. Are you a ready to be a part of it? ** Amari is currently being fostered in Dayton, Ohio ** We are open to out of state applications so long as the entire potential forever family can make it here locally for an in person meet and greet with all people and current dogs in the home. ** We do NOT ship dogs.

Story
Location: Cincinnati, OH Food: The Honest Kitchen - Grain Free Beef Medication: Nexgard Plus Say hello to Snowbunny, a charming 3-year-old (est.) French Bulldog with a big heart and an even bigger personality! After spending her early years with a breeder, she’s finally getting to experience what real love, playtime, and cozy couch snuggles are all about - and she’s thriving. Snowbunny is the ultimate companion. She loves being with her people - on your lap, by your side, or tucked under a blanket right next to you. When she’s not in snuggle mode, you’ll catch her showing off her hilarious afternoon and evening zoomies, racing around like a tiny, joyful thoroughbred. She’s a bit of a homebody and would do best as the only pet in the household. While she can sometimes warm up to the right furry friend, she generally prefers to have her humans all to herself (both inside & outside the home). Snowbunny is working on her house training and does great peeing outside during the day. Probably because of her past, she can get a little anxious when left alone, which leads to regular accidents (primarily night time peeing & pooping where she's confined). With a kind and understanding family, Snowbunny will blossom into the affectionate, goofy, and loyal little companion she was always meant to be. If you’re looking for a snuggle buddy with a heart full of love (and a few silly antics to keep you smiling), Snowbunny just might be your perfect match.

Story
Hi there, I'm Vernon! I am a super snuggly sweetheart. I have the the softest, rabbit-like fur you’ll ever touch. I'm a bulldog mix with the cutest underbite, really, I'm a total cuddlebug and love nothing more than curling up close for a nap—or playing joyfully with other dogs. Before rescue, I was surviving as a stray on the streets for months, too scared to trust despite many kindhearted attempts. When I finally decided it was okay to trust and taken in, I had some serious wounds from life outside — I got some TLC, antibiotics, and love. But that is all behind me now and my foster says I've healed beautifully, both inside and out. I have been told that I can have a very serious look but I am gentle, affectionate, and ready to bond deeply with a forever family. While I haven't met cats yet, I am at my best and confident when I am with other dogs and would thrive in a home with canine companions or loving humans who adore snuggles. Now that my rough days are behind me, I'm ready for a soft bed, full belly, and lots of love—maybe with you? Story
Location: Cincinnati, OH Food: Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Bison and Sweet Potato Medication: NexGard Plus Daisy – the ultimate wrinkle-wearing, snort-machine English Bulldog who’s basically a walking bundle of pure joy and comedy gold is looking for her furever home! True to her bulldog roots, she has a sassy stubborn streak and might need a gentle “hey, manners!” nudge now and then – but she takes corrections like a champ with positive vibes and treats! Dogs - she loves them, but she’s not used to being around them so she needs a fur-sibling who won’t mind to gently correct her. Cat lovers, rejoice! Daisy is totally chill with kitties – she’s a pro at peaceful coexistence and might even make a feline bestie. Potty training? She’s a work in progress – making awesome strides but could use a patient cheerleader to keep the routine going strong.
