Story
This beautiful girl came to us when her owner moved to Tennessee and was unable to find a place to live that allowed pets. Both Opal and her owner were heartbroken. Opal is a one and a half year old purebred white and fawn French bulldog. She weighs 22 pounds and she is now spayed, up-to-date on required vaccines, heartworm tested negative and micro chipped. She is a healthy little girl looking for her forever home. She is house trained, and she gets along ok with other dogs, but definitely wants to be the center of attention so she would do well with another laid-back dog or as an only dog. She is great with kids. If you would like to be sweet Opal’s hero, please email omlc7@hotmail.com or dogs4mylife@gmail.com and we will send our information and application. PLEASE NOTE THAT A LOT OF OUR RESPONSES GO TO JUNK MAIL SO IF YOU DO NOT SEE A RESPONSE FROM US, PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK/SPAM FOLDER.

Story
Meet Bonnie.... Poor Bonnie was just surrendered back to the rescue. The family that adopted her 5 months ago called and said Bonnie has too much anxiety for them. Bonnie was originally tied to a McDonald's dumpster near one of our foster home. Animal control called us after finding her. Shortly after getting Bonnie settled on the rescue, we got her vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Bonnie was quickly adopted and we thought thriving in her home. It seems as though the adopters crated Bonnie way too much. Bonnie is not a fan of the crate, especially for long periods of time. Bonnie was surrendered back to us with a nasty chest rash. Of course the family had no idea what it's from, our guess is a harness on her while crated or tied up and her struggling to break free. We are now sure what life was like for Bonnie these past 5 months, we do know she is now safe, back in her orginial foster home and learning how to feel love and commitment again. Bonnie is a 1 year old Frenchie, pittie mix. Her weight is 37 pounds. She loves to run around the yard, play with other dogs and of course be with her family. Bonnie does better with women over men. We are looking to place her in a home where people are home more than gone. So she does not need to be crated. She is potty trained. Being fostered in Stony Point NY Send an email to Onepawatatimerescue@gmail.com and request an application ** Thats the only way to get an application Adoption fee is $300

Story
Meet Brown🧡 Brown was rescued from a slaughterhouse at a young age, together with his 4 siblings, including Tom and Kleon. * With People: Interacts well with people! Sniffs when a stranger approaches but feels awkward with touch and tends to move away. If there are treats, he will stay close, but without them, he still finds touch a bit strange. * With Dogs: Is not interested in other dogs and enjoys his alone time. 🐶 * With Cats: He gets overly excited when seeing cats, so it’s best to avoid encounters. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he resides with other dogs at the center. * Potty Training: Currently does only outdoor potty breaks at the center. * Hygiene: Is calm during baths. Though nervous and stiff during drying, he handles it well. Shows mild dislike during nail trimming but is never aggressive. Tolerates short brushing sessions. * Walks: Enjoys walking without any leash-pulling, keeping pace comfortably! 🐕 * Car sickness: He rests comfortably in the car without any signs of motion sickness. 💟Special Notes💟 * Feels more comfortable with a collar than a harness. * Is very independent. Loves his alone time and enjoys lying down to rest. ❗Health Condition ❗ * Neutered. * Microchipped. * His ear was bitten and torn by another dog at our center, and is now being treated.

Story
Hello everyone, I’m Bonbon, a 5–6-year-old Frenchie looking for a forever home. At just 14 pounds, I’m the perfect size to snuggle up in your arms—and trust me, that’s my favorite place to be. I’ve recently been given a whole new lease on life after being surrendered by a puppy mill, and now I’m ready to experience all the love and happiness a forever family can offer. I’m gentle and affectionate, and I’ll let you pick me up anytime. Being held and cuddled is my absolute favorite, and I’ll happily soak up all the love you can give. If you’re looking for a loving companion who’s ready to melt into your arms, I’m your girl! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Hi there, I’m Butterscotch, a 5–6-year-old Frenchie with a big heart and a petite 17-pound frame. Life hasn’t always been kind to me—I spent my whole life in a puppy mill before I was finally surrendered. Now, I’m on a journey to discover what love and happiness are all about, and I can’t wait to find a forever home where I can truly blossom. I might be a little timid at first, but don’t let that fool you—I warm up quickly with gentle words and kind hands. Once I feel safe, I love being held and pet, soaking up every ounce of affection. I’m dreaming of a forever home where I can finally feel like part of a family and share all the love I’ve been saving up in my heart. Could you be my happily-ever-after? Paris is up to date on core vaccinations and is microchipped. Story
Renee is a unique little dog that makes people tilt their heads and smile when they see her.  Her crooked little underbite smile just  leaves you giggling.  Its crazy to think she can even eat properly but she can.  This Puggle is mixed with Brussel Griffon and Pug and boy is she a sweetheart. She is a tiny, petite thing who weighs10 lbs and is the perfect lap companion.  At just 4 years of age, Renee  was owned by an elderly person who lost everything in the recent east coast hurricane tragedies in the month of  October.  So many animals were displaced during that time and we were happy to give little Renee a chance to find a new home.  Her elderly mom never walked her much because she was a disabled senior and therefore Renee isn't the best on a leash at the moment.   One thing she has mastered and that is being a snuggler and your best bed buddy.   Rene gets along well with other dogs, she's fine with cats and in general a  very easy-going girl to have around. Little Rene loves car rides and has a great desire to be a social butterfly and go places with a new owner. If you are interested in this little girl please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 10, 2024, 6:12 pm
