Meet Lewis 💙 Breed: French Bulldog Age: 4 years old Weight: 35 lbs Status: Neutered, fully vetted, heartworm tested (negative), on prevention, and up to date on vaccines Lewis is a sweet Frenchie who came to us as an unclaimed stray. His time in the shelter left him a little heartbroken and unsure, but he’s now ready to find his forever family. This handsome boy is housebroken, gentle, and very much a Velcro dog—he wants nothing more than to stay close to his people. Right now, he’s still decompressing and learning that he is safe and loved. With patience and reassurance, his trust will grow, and his personality will continue to shine. Lewis loves the company of other dogs and is also cat-friendly, making him a great companion for multi-pet households. He will thrive in a calm, supportive home that understands his need for time and care as he adjusts to a new life. If you have a little extra love to give, Lewis will return it tenfold. He’s waiting for that special someone to help mend his heart and show him what forever really means. Lewis does require a canine companion in his forever home and would love a securely fenced yard in which to romp and play. The suggested adoption donation for Lewis is a minimum of $600 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise. At 7 years old (born 2018), she’s housebroken, litter trained, and crate trained. She’s great with children of all ages and knows a few basic commands. Stella has always had a fenced yard, but is also comfortable going potty on walks. She’s looking for a home where she can be the only pet.
