Hello! We got Gus February 2025 from a friend of a friend of a friend. Our Boston terrier passed away the year before and we were ready for another dog, but didn't want to go to a breeder. My friend knew of a couple trying to re-home their Frenchie. We took him and he came with a history of being crated 23 hours a day, poor guy. We had a large foster dog at the time and the got along just fine! The foster dog got adopted and we fostered another Frenchie who we soon adopted. I think it was a couple months into having Ramsey that Gus started displaying some aggressive behavior. We took him to the dog park and he tried to attack another dog, my husband split them up and he got bit. Gus is MOSTLY fine with our 4 kids, but there are a few things that trigger him and the kids have to be very careful if they drop a toy or small object, Gus becomes possessive and we cannot take it from him without getting bit. Strangely, and luckily, he isn't aggressive around food.
