Story
We found this sweet pup running into traffic on a busy road and took him in. He is very young, the vet said about a year. We got him his rabies vaccination and he had a skin infection that has since been cleared up. He is aggressive towards cats so we are unable to keep him. He will need an adopter without cats in the house. He definitely still has puppy energy and needs someone willing to help him fully learn the ropes of being a good dog. He seems mostly house broken but still has occasional accidents. He loves to snuggle, play ball, and is such a bundle of joy. He is a great size, being smaller than a pit bull but bigger than a frenchie.

Story
This adorable lady is Lilybrook! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 2/5, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. The volunteers describe Lilybrook as friendly and affectionate. She has the most endearing underbite! Lilybrook is a smart cookie too; she knows the commands sit, lay down, and stay. She also seems to be housetrained as she keeps her kennel nice and tidy. Lilybrook is approximately 3 years old, and she weighs 41 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Unfortunately, Lilybrook did test positive for heartworms, but with proper care and treatment, she can go on to live a long and healthy life. Please speak with shelter staff about the option of fostering to adopt while she receives treatment. Lilbrook is waiting patiently in run 806; her ID # is 7956. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Story
We got Beau from a French Bulldog breeder in Ringgold, GA in early 2018. He was born November 6th, 2017. Beau will turn 8 in November later this year and is a super spry and playful dog for his age. We are hoping to find a family or couple that can spend some quality time with Beau. That is one of the main reasons we are looking to re-home him. It breaks our hearts to do this be we don’t have time to spend with him. The time he deserves. We’re looking for someone that’s decently active because Beau loves to walk and sit outside. He also loves to wrestle if you’re up for it. He loves to play with other dogs and super friendly with pets, adults and children. We would describe Beau as funny, playful, slightly mischievous, a sweetheart, friendly, an absolute ham around people. I made the adoption price what it is not for need but to know someone is serious about adding Beau to their lives. Thank you for reading.
