When you want to exert physical energy, really just get it all out, he will let you play with his ball. He’s great at sharing! When you’re upset and forget just how loved you are… Flik will be there to remind you that you’re worthy, you’re enough, and gosh darn it, he LOVES YOU! And when you just need to take a nap, just sleep away the scaries, Flik will be more than happy to be a couch gremlin with you! Flik knows how to love in ALL the love languages. He’s just looking to the right family onto whom he can bestow his top-notch talents! We are seeking a young, active family with kiddos to love Flik and let him grace their hearts and homes. He’s a GREAT schmedium size - around 20 pounds - but athletic and sturdy enough to take long walks, hike, run like his hair is on fire in the yard with kids. Flik is like the family cookie recipe passed down from generation to generation on a hand written notecard. The kind of thing that’s made at all important occasions cause you can’t imagine not having them, but no one knows what they’re called. ‘Cause you see, we don’t know what he is exactly… but everyone LoVeS him! He’s absolutely DELICIOUS! Flik is small - right around 20 pounds - and has ears that could function as antennas if needed. He has a blocky head but he’s lanky. He’s all white with a blonde bottom and tail. He has soulful eyes complete with dramatic black eyeliner. He is absolutely stunning! The best part of Flik is his personality, though. He’s loving and attentive. When you enter the room he immediately has eyes on you, wanting to know what he can do to please. He’s extremely dog friendly - never met a pup he didn’t love - and he’s wonderful with kids of all ages. Flik was found sick and wounded. He had been buried in an ant bed and they almost ate him alive. After several weeks in the shelter where he was nursed back to health, and now several weeks in foster care where he’s been loved completely and learned the ropes of life as a pet, Flik can say for sure that nightmare was all a distant memory. He’s incredibly happy go lucky now! Flik is ready to find his family. He can be an only dog or he can join a home with other pets. He just wants to be an integral part to a home where he can stay forever! Flik would love a yard to enjoy as he’s still learning the ropes of a leash / harness and he insists on people who understand he needs pets, “good boys”, and “aw you’re so handsome”s every day.
