Story
This beautiful girl came to us when her owner moved to Tennessee and was unable to find a place to live that allowed pets. Both Opal and her owner were heartbroken. Opal is a one and a half year old purebred white and fawn French bulldog. She weighs 22 pounds and she is now spayed, up-to-date on required vaccines, heartworm tested negative and micro chipped. She is a healthy little girl looking for her forever home. She is house trained, and she gets along ok with other dogs, but definitely wants to be the center of attention so she would do well with another laid-back dog or as an only dog. She is great with kids. If you would like to be sweet Opal’s hero, please email omlc7@hotmail.com or dogs4mylife@gmail.com and we will send our information and application. PLEASE NOTE THAT A LOT OF OUR RESPONSES GO TO JUNK MAIL SO IF YOU DO NOT SEE A RESPONSE FROM US, PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK/SPAM FOLDER.

? Meet Venom – The Frenchie Superhero! ? Straight out of the pages of Marvel Comics (but with way more wiggles), Venom is here to steal your heart and maybe your snack! ????? This 1-year-old, 30-pound French Bulldog powerhouse is the ultimate combination of mischief, muscle, and major cuteness. With his stocky little body, signature Frenchie strut, and a face too cute for a villain, Venom is always ready for action—whether it's zooming around the yard, making you laugh with his goofy antics, or flopping into your lap for some serious cuddle time. ? Superpowers Include: ? Wiggle-Butt Speed – Watch out, because when this dude gets the zoomies, he’s gone! ? Hysterical Sound Effects – Snorts, grunts, and snores included at no extra charge. ? Unmatched Charm – Seriously, resistance is futile. ? Snack Detection Radar – That sandwich? Yeah, he knows you have it. ? Weaknesses: ? Not a fan of the tiny sidekicks – Smaller dogs just cramp his style. ? Little humans? Hard pass. – He prefers his squad to be more mature. If you're looking for a funny, playful, and absolutely lovable sidekick (who appreciates a little personal space), Venom is your guy! Apply today to meet this four-legged legend!

Story
Checking me out???? Of COURSE you are!!! I am cute, I am smart and I am a frenchie!! Now, before we go too far in this potential relationship I need you to know...I fart sometimes... :) I snort AND snore... AND i have a flat face :) Now that we have THAT outta the way, lets get down to brass tacks...this is the part of my bio that explains why I have a pink wheelchair! No one knows why I am partially paralyzed, very likely a very common frenchie malady caused by crappy breeding :( But honestly, it adds so much to my charm and my strength of character ;) I am a SURVIVOR. I was at the pound, skin and bones and scared and pleading with my eyes to get out of there alive.... and a wonderful frenchie/bulldog LOVER and FOSTER MOM saw me and begged for the rescue to help me... and I hardly had to turn on the charm because the rescuer saw my face, and my foster's determination to help me and it was a done deal! Now I am healthy, I am happy, I am GREAT with other dogs and would be best with one or several other buddies. I am great with kids but due to my disability should be older kids. I cannot wait to be your family member, you will get snorts/farts/snoring and lots of silliness when you adopt me so don't hesitate!! Local adoption fee is $350 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Well first let’s just say that Pepper is NOT a fru-fru girl that needs to be “pretty in pink”.  This girl is a Boston Terrier/Pit mix puppy who was in a very tough and isolated shelter in West Tennessee and she was the one in a million girl that made it OUT!  She is a lover girl but boy can she keep up with the older and bigger boy dogs in the foster home.  She is a great player all day long and she is tough like a “tomboy”.  She is learning the leash, crate trained and she is working on the housebreaking.  She will forever be your girl that tries the hardest to do everything right.  She is weighing in at 27 pounds and 7 months old and will one day be a 35 pound adult beauty.  We love these Pepper ears and her strong personal determination to hang with the BIG BOYS!  She is the survivor that we saw at the top of the steps in the movie “Rocky”. She has beat some unbelievable odds Some true hurdles that only Pepper and Critter Cavalry Rescue knows about.  If you want to be her Champion Adopter please write to us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com We are happy to show you what a special girl she is. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 3, 2025, 8:18 pm

We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
