Story
This funny girl was found in the median of the highway one morning on the way to Transport. She was running up and down the road like many dogs We see here that have been abandoned. I have searched all over for her family because I know she had one at one time. I have had no luck. Monkey is a very funny very sweet, friendly girl. She is probably a year old and maybe has some French bulldog. She is confident and loves to go for walks and rides. She loves everyone she meets and would love to be back in a home. If you are interested in our little chunky Monkey please visit funnyfarmpets.org where you can read all about our Tennessee based rescue and how the adoption and Transport process works. You will also find the link to submit the adoption application. Her adoption fee will be $325 and if she hast to be transported from Tennessee there will be an additional $200 transport fee.

Story
**SPECIAL NEEDS - PLEASE READ FULL BIO** Maisey Mae is an ADORABLE 4 month old female purebred French Bulldog puppy. This sweet girl was surrendered to our rescue by her previous owner, after she realized that she was unable to accommodate Maisey's special needs. She wanted to ensure that Maisey goes to a loving home that is able to meet Maisey's needs, and that is exactly what Paws Rescue League intends to do. We will be very selective in reviewing applicants for this special girl.  Maisey has mobility issues with her back legs and is also partially incontinent. Her prior vet believes that she either has spina bifida or cerebral palsy. She is awaiting additional evaluation by our vet for a second opinion. Despite these issues, Maisey is a happy, playful, sweet, and spunky puppy! She does not know that she is different, and she is able to get around just fine (including stairs). She will likely require regular physical therapy and/or chiropractic care to help her gain strength in her back legs. Since she is partially incontinent, she wears diapers at night, and will need to be changed/cleaned in the morning to keep her clean and dry, and to avoid irritation (just like a baby). Other than that, Maisey is just like any other puppy! She loves other dogs and is good with people and kids (not cat tested, but puppies typically do fine with cats if introduced at a young age). From Maisey's current foster: "Maisey May is a fun loving puppy that loves to play with other dogs and toys. Enjoys taking walks and snuggling on the couch. She is a spunky girl that has a big personality. She is a good listener and knows her name. She has the Frenchie snore that is just adorable. She is crate trained and sleeps great all night.  We are waiting on more vetting to determine the diagnosis with her hind legs - she will also be spayed at that time.  She has mobility and can run and go up and down stairs. She sometimes drags her back toes. There is nothing stopping her yet.   Looking for that special home to provide the care and love that this cute little puppy deserves." If you think you may be the right home for this special girl, please apply!  ##2155991##

Story
Name: Dill Pickle Nicknames: Pickles. Dilly. Sex: Female Breed: Bully mix? Frenchie mix? Pittie Mix? Frenchie/Pit? Age: ~2 years Weight: A very short and stocky 50 lbs. Before OMD: Tied up to a street sign. Picked up by animal control. Diagnosed with a severe UTI and started antibiotics during her stray hold at the shelter. Joined OMD Rescue officially when a committed OMD foster said yes. Cleared from her beast of a UTI after many weeks of treatment. Key descriptors: Lovable. Silly. Snuggly. Opinionated. Hungry. Energy level: Moderate. She is the queen of daytime naps, but has also become accustomed to weekend adventures like hiking, swimming, and paddleboarding. She deserves a good walk and some fetch almost every day. She’s also participated in dog sports and has loved them! What we love: She’s a snuggler. She’s an adventurer. She’s a comedian. What she loves: Food. Lovins. Naps. All the gross treats (chicken feet, fish skin, bully sticks, trachea, pig ears, marrow bone, etc.). Nylabones/Benebones. What makes us laugh: Her uncoordinated play style. Her fondness for laying on her back and sticking all four paws straight in the air. The fact that at night she wants to be breathing the same cubic inch of air as you. #BedtimeBuddy Don’t be alarmed: She has pterodactyl blood running through her veins. Her excited screech is really something to take in. It’s harmless though (think very excited Frenchie mix...IYKYK) and she'll tell you she's working on it but that's still to be determined. Also working on controlling her wiggley, uncoordinated body when she's excited (ie: when she sees foster mom after a full day at the vet). What she knows: Sit. Drop it. Come. What she’s working on: Taking treats less piranha-like. Being a tad less mouthy when her humans get her all riled up. Keeping four on the floor. House-trained: Yes! Dogs: Sure! She’s fostered with two male dogs now and has done well, and has also met female dogs. She has a rough (and sometimes vocal) Bully play style. She could be fine as a solo gal as long as her family is committed to taking her on adventures! Cats: Not tested. Kids: 8+ Sturdy ones should be good. She will steal food out of their hands and probably take the plate too. Crate-trained: Beautifully! Happy to take a treat and wander into her crate. She’ll wait in her crate for her meals. In the words of her foster mom: She's an idiot and I love her. Dill is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped. She is available for adoption to residents of CT and surrounding states. If you are interesting in adopting her, please complete an application from omdrescue.org

Story
Hi, I’m Pearl! I’m a 4-year-old Frenchie, and I weigh in at 26 pounds—a little more to love, but who’s counting? I’ve got a silly side that will keep you laughing all day long. I love to show off my playful personality. I’m great with other dogs too! I spent my years confined to the walls of a puppy mill so I am more than ready to have a family who will love me and show me all the world has to offer. This nice rescue even scheduled my spay. My affectionate nature makes me a perfect best buddy, and I’m always ready to shower you with love. Just give me a little attention, and I promise I’ll be your loyal friend forever. I’m looking for a forever home where I can share my playful antics and affectionate heart with a family who will appreciate my fun-loving spirit! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

These pups are in Naugatuck, Connecticut too!
