He was neglected for way too long his poor body was tired and full of benign skin masses. After 2 surgeries he is a very happy little old man what still has so much love to give . His perfect adopter would be someone what is retired that can spend some quality time together. No small kids because he is so fragile. No other dogs or maybe one other dog depending on demeanor. Because our little Eeyore developed an obsession for toys. He collects all the toys and does not want to share with his foster siblings...even IF he has hoarded their toy!! :) Absolutely not.. he said mine mine mine . Kennel trained : He is in his kennel when I go to work. Does he like it no he will sing you the Frenchie song . Potty trained : Yes he got the hang of it also uses the doggy door . Love's : car rides in his doggie car seat , loves snacks and food , yogurt and Fresh blueberries Medication : Daily eye drops or eye cream . Eeyore deserves the BEST home! Seems like Roxie Rose has been attacked by some dogs that left her body with several bite marks at her ears and face. One ear had a hematoma and she had a cherry eye. Both were removed during surgery yesterday. We would like to thank Dr. Evans for taking her in so quickly and doing a wonderful job. Roxie Rose is approximately 2 1/2 years old and weighs 24 pounds which we believe that some of her weight comes from human food. Right now she is trying to out wait her foster mom to give her human food and refuses to eat the dry kibble but she will get the hang of it. I will post new pictures once she has healed a bit next week. We anticipate that Roxie Rose will be cleared to go to her new home in 2 weeks without any further medical needs. She may even lose a few pounds without so much human food! She is just a very spoiled, normal dog who loves to sleep with you and follow you all over the house. She needs to lose about 5 pounds. But she is a very happy girl and she simply adores being around people. For sure she is a velcro dog, she follows you everywhere especially the kitchen in hopes of you dropping some food for her. Roxie Rose had a home but they could not provide the care she needed for dog wounds, a cherry eye and a hematoma in her right ear. All of her medical needs have been addressed and she does not need any medications or medical attention now. She is still healing from her cherry eye surgery and has a follow up appointment on Wednessday, November 20. She can go to her new home after her vet appointment. Oh yeah, if you want a dog to walk with you Roxie Rose is not that girl, she will walk just a few steps and stop to be picked up. She is still very much getting comfortable with surroundings and will NOT walk on leash so will need a yard while she gets trained. She needs an adopter with patience as she is easily spooked. Charlotte came to the rescue with a broken leg and was pregnant. She was likely hit by a car as her uterus had ruptured and had to be spayed immediately. She has a strong and very sweet spirit and will make someone's family complete. She LOVES kids and is good with other dogs. She has come very far with me in the short time she has been here so I know she will only gain more trust as time goes on.
