If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location. Hi! 💕 Hey I'm Stewart (Stew) - A big cuddle bug!! Age: about 2 years old Breed: French Bulldog Mix A little bit about Stew Looking for a calm but playful companion who will steal your heart? This sweet boy is a 2-year-old Frenchie mix that loves being outside. What Makes Stew Special 🏡 House & Kennel Trained - Stew is working on potty training, he gets distracted easily. He will watch the wind blow the leaves and deer walking around. In the kennel he barks a little (that typical frenchie whine) when he goes to the kennel, but calms down quickly. If you give him his cozy bed or a blanket on the floor, he will snuggle right in! 🐕 Good with kids- he absultuly loves to run around outside with kids of any size!! He is a little shy with other dogs at first, but with the right friend, time, and patience he will get used to them, and can make a great friend. Best to find a home with no cats. 🌳 Outdoor Enthusiast - He LOVE spending time outside enjoying the grass! History- His past was roaming the street in Las Cruses. At the shelter he was at he got picked on and is glad to be in a nice foster home. Stew does have a little hair loss on his neck and back legs, but thats getting better with my baths and a good lifestyle. He might need to follow up with the veterinary if it becomes an issue.
